Chapter 291: Endow Energy, Early Awakening of Phoenix Force

“Beep! The emergence of human genocide on earth is detected. New mission has started.”

“Save the humans and mutants on Earth.”

Bruce received a new mission from the system after he sucked the soul of Apocalypse into the Soul Stone.

Even if the system did not issue this mission, he had decided to save the present Earth. Still, Bruce knew that he did not have the power to alter reality, so he could only use Jean’s  Phoenix Force.

As the supreme cosmic law beyond the five gods, the Phoenix Force could completely restore everything on Earth to its original appearance.

With this in mind, Bruce used Void Movement to teleport himself back to the Xavier School.

A ripple of space flashed, and Bruce returned to Xavier School. When he appeared, he saw Charles and Eric. He heard Charles preparing to expel him.

He knew that from this moment on, he and Charles were at odds against each other. Bruce knew that this day would come sooner or later, but he didn’t think that it would come so soon.

“Charles, after this, I’m leaving Xavier School.” Leaving this to Professor X, Bruce headed for the Phoenix’s room.

“Well, you have the face to come back.” Charles still looked at Bruce disapprovingly, but did not notice that a black light rose above his head.

Magneto looked in the direction of Bruce’s departure, then mumbled, “Isn’t he Gambit’s master? His name turned out to be Bruce.”

Inside the phoenix’s room…

The little girl sat on the edge of the bed in a daze, while her friend Wanda continued to comfort her.

“It’ll be alright, Jean. I’m sure Bruce will come back for us.”

At Wanda’s words, the phoenix shook her head. “It is useless, and he can’t solve the problem.”

“How do you know if you haven’t tried.” Just as they were talking about it, Bruce flew in through the window.

When she saw Bruce who had light and dark wings floating behind them, Wanda’s eyes lit up. She rushed toward Bruce. “Well, Bruce, Why did you come back so late.”

“It’s okay, Wanda. I’m here. Don’t worry.” After comforting Wanda, Bruce went to the Phoenix.

He decided to use Endow Energy to speed up the awakening of the White Phoenix force and then restore the world back to its original state.

“Jean, close your eyes and try to shut your other personality.” Phoenix tried to resist at first, but Bruce immediately used God’s Telekinesis to control her spirit and strengthen the spiritual cage set by Charles.

She sat motionless on the spot and looked at Bruce obediently.

After all, the Phoenix Force Jean had now was still in the stage of awakening. It, of course, could not compete with Bruce.

But if there was a power that could kill her, Phoenix Force would surely awaken early to protect her.

Bruce, of course, was not going to do this. He was just trying to make Phoenix obey him for the time being. He didn’t mean to hurt her. Phoenix force would not attack him for no reason.

After confirming that the black Phoenix force could not affect Jean, Bruce put his hand on her head, activating Endow Energy.

All of a sudden, the Light source began to demand energy from its surroundings.

Around Bruce, mottled points of light appeared. This light energy was then injected into Jean through Bruce’s palm. It began to catalyze Phoenix Force.

“Ah !” A white light came from Jean’s eyes. A White Phoenix suddenly appeared behind her.

The White Phoenix sent out extreme repulsion, sending Bruce out of the room.

Boom!

After a loud bang. Jean’s room was shattered by the force, and the whole building shook.

All the students ran out in panic. They thought the scourge had begun to engulf Xavier School.

Charles frowned and prepared to examine Jean, but steel bars suddenly appeared beside him, tying him up.

“Eric, you… ” Charles looked at Magneto in disbelief.

“Don’t interfere with her. I’m sure she won’t do anything wrong.”

“Really? Do you want to wait until she destroys the whole planet?”

Eric shook his head, ignoring Charles.

In the sky, Bruce picked up the falling Wanda while opening Phoenix’s stats.

Sure enough,the power of the White Phoenix was catalyzed by the Light source of Bruce, and it strengthened her ability to that of a level six mutant, as well as an awakened Rules of Phoenix.

The newly awakened Gravitational Manipulation also destroyed the house, sending Bruce’s powerful body out.

“Jean, feel the Phoenix Force. Believe me, you can restore everything to its original shape and resurrect these dead people.” Bruce steadied his body, emitting a strong sense of God’s Telekinesis to lead Phoenix.

Jean’s eyes moved slightly.

She seemed to feel her change, too. Then, she fluttered her red wings, which were condensed by the White Phoenix Force. She floated in the air.

She closed her eyes quietly, and Bruce waited patiently.

After a while, Jean opened her eyes again and frowned. “No, Mr.Bruce, my powers have awakened successfully, but they are not strong enough to change reality.”

“What? It’s not enough? It’s ok… Unless your life is in danger, Phoenix Force will not fully awake so early. Endow Energy is quite powerful, that has strengthened you at such a stage” Bruce murmured, then looked at Wanda.

“But I have another idea.” Bruce then used his other hand to strengthen Wanda.

Immediately, what had happened to Jean was repeated to Wanda, but Wanda did not push Bruce away.

Instead of manipulating chaos magic to keep her body afloat, she continued to snuggle in Bruce’s arms.

Apart from her eyes that looked at Bruce became a little cleverer and clearer, nothing seemed to have changed since the past. Bruce, however, could see in Wanda’s fleeting eyes that she was stronger. More so, she recalled everything that happened before they came to the X-Men parallel universe.
