14 Heath

Name:I Became a God Author:KrisSirk
The morning sun shined on Karl's eyes, waking him up. He stretched his legs and let out a loud yawn. It was pretty early in the morning, which was rare for Karl. He rubbed his eyes and left his room, going downstairs. Dilya was already awake, sitting at the table. "Hey, what's up? I thought you would be gone when I woke up?"

Dilya was eating some leftovers from last night. She looked up at Karl. "Some things came up and now I need you to come with me. Here, eat." She smiled at him and grabbed a plate and a piece of meat, placing it across from her.

"Come with you for what? Thanks." Karl sat across from Dilya and started eating the leftovers. Even though it was leftovers, it still tasted good. He wouldn't waste food, just because it was leftovers, that was nonsense.

"Well, my brother told me that the scouts have found something really useful. It's a dungeon," Dilya said, finishing her food and placing her plate in the sink.

Karl paused for a second when he heard her say it was a dungeon. "Dungeon? What's that?" Of course, being the creator of the dungeons, he knew what they were, but he had to act like he didn't know anything.

Dilya sat back down across Karl. "I only know what my brother told me, but... how do I explain this? It's bigger on the inside than the outside. It has multiple levels and if you reach the last one, the system will grant you something you desire."

"Something I desire? What would you want?" Karl asked, finishing his food.

Dilya tilted her head to the side and thought about what she would want. "Well, something to help our people. We are still weak and every little bit counts. What about you?"

Karl placed his plate in the sink and sat back down. "Helping is just like you." he smiled at Dilya. "What would I get? To be honest with you, another power. I know it's kinda selfish."

"It is selfish, but I'm sure you're not the only one that would do that. Anyways, we have to go. My brother said to meet in the morning." Dilya got up and pushed the chair in. She left the house and started walking.

Karl nodded and followed beside her. They walked to Kerym's house as the sun shined on them. Every so often, the sun would peek out of the clouds, blinding Karl's eyes. Eventually, they arrived at Kerym's house. Dilya opened the door and let themselves in.

"Kerym! We're here!" Dilya yelled inside. "Follow me," she said to Karl.

Karl followed her as they made their way to Kerym's living room. Inside the living room was Kerym and another person.

"Dilya, must you yell?" Kerym asked her.

Dilya didn't answer and sat down. "This is Kigai, the one blessed by the goddess."

"Hello." Karl waved at Kerym, extending his hand for a handshake. "Thanks for having me."

Kerym shook Karl's hand. "Hello, my name's Kerym, the firstborn. It's a pleasure to meet someone blessed by the goddess. Please, take a seat."

Karl took a seat and looked at Kerym. He was wearing plain clothes, but you could see his strong and built body. With those muscles, he is probably a fighter.

"This here is Heath," Kerym said, introducing Heath. "He is a level 30 guard and he will be joining us."

Heath waved at everyone, nervous. He was surrounded by important people and he was just an ordinary guy. There was the firstborn, the secondborn, and the one who was blessed by the goddess. "H-hello, my name's Heath and my class is Knight."

"Alright, now that we're all acquainted, I have something for everyone. It's a new invention from the craftsmen." Kerym went to another room and came back, holding iron armor.

"What's that? It's so shiny." Dilya asked, looking at the shiny iron armor.

"Honestly, I don't know, but the craftsmen said it was much stronger than our current leather armor, but it is heavier."

"Well, I don't want it."

"I know you don't want it, but Kigai or Heath might. I know I do."

"Yes, I would definitely like one," Heath said.

"Alright, one for Heath. What about you, Kigai?" Kerym asked.

"Umm, I focus on dexterity, so having a heavy armor would just slow me down. Thanks for the offer though."

"Alright." Kerym walked over to Heath. "You can have this then." He passed the armor piece to him.

Kerym walked out of the room and grabbed the rest of the armor, giving it to Heath. "Oh yeah, I have another thing for you." He walked back and grabbed an iron sword. Kerym went back to the living room and showed Heath. "This is the sharpest and strongest sword the craftsmen have created, take care of it."

Heath's eyes went wide when he saw the sword. It was the prettiest sword he's seen and it looked strong. He grabbed the sword as it was passed to him. "I'll take care of it with my life."

Kerym chuckled. "You don't need to be so serious. Now, get ready. We're leaving as soon as everyone is ready."

Karl looked at the iron armor as Heath took off his leather armor and wore it. Karl was amazed. They already knew how to use iron and it's been only a hundred years. Very impressive. After a few minutes of fiddling around, Heath finally got the armor on. It wasn't built for looks, but performance. Heath looked like a real knight with his new iron armor and sword.

"I'm ready," Heath said, admiring his new armor.

"Alright, let's go then. Follow me." Kerym said as he left the house.

The group followed behind Kerym as they went in the dungeon's direction. Kerym waved at the guards as they left the city and went on the jungle floor. They kept walking and walking. It was weird because they didn't even try to hide, and nothing attacked them. After a lot of walking, they arrived at the dungeon.

"If the scouts weren't lying, this should be it. Are you all ready?" Kerym asked them.

"Yes!" they responded back.
