15 Waking up again Emmas POV

I just remember little snippets of what happened next.I remember seeing the panic on his face as he took off his mask.I remember being on the stretcher and looking down at the blood on my shirt. But strangest of all, I didn't feel pain. "Why couldn't I feel pain." I wonder to myself. "Maybe I'm going crazy." Then it occurred to me. I must be dying. A little tear falls down my check. I don't want to die. I wake up again in a different place and the flash is holding my hand. I look up and squeeze his hand saying "Thank you." As I pass out again.

Ten hours later

When I woke up I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I take a sharp inhale and looked down. I'm in my sports bra and there's bandages wrapped around my waist. I try to get up while I take all the wires off when something flashes into the room to get me to lay back down. "Hey hey hey. Be careful."

"What happened? Why does my stomach hurt?"

"You were shot. Trying to protect me." That's when I remembered everything. Darrell, the flash, me getting kidnapped and shot. I remembered everything. "Where am I?"

"You're in Star Labs."

"I'm in the place that put me in a coma?"

"You were in a coma?"

"Yes I was. For ten months."

"Interesting."

"Who are you?"

"I'm the flash."

"YOUR the flash? Really?"

"Yes really. Why is that so hard to believe." I was about to say with a snarky comeback but I restrained myself. After that a man and a woman walked in. The woman said "Oh you're awake already. That's surprising."

"Not really. She seemed like she'd be a fighter."

"Ok so what is your name, what year is it, and how old are you?"

"Emma Duncan, 2014, and 22"

"No signs of memory loss. That's a good thing." The women says while checking my vitals.

"Ok.Who the heck are you people?"

"I'm Cisco Roman and this is Caitlin Snow."

"I'm the one that saved your life after you took a bullet to the gut." Caitlin said while checking my stats. "Interesting your heart rate is a bit faster than usual."

"Maybe it's because I'm freaking out a bit."

"Yeah, that would explain it. Now I need some of your Blood. You'll also need to pee in this cup"

I give her a confused look and then the flash says "Maybe not right now." That's when Dr. Wells rolls in and I start geeking out a bit on the inside. "Emma Duncan. Detective. Studied at Harvard after skipping the 12th grade. I have had my eye on you for years. Come on and take a walk with me. I would like to have a talk with you."

"Yeah, yeah sure." I say getting up."

"Can I please have shirt."

"Here." Cisco says as he hands me a start labs hoodie.

"Good luck." He says as we walk away.
