Setting:

The story is set in a vampire apocalypse during the 21st Century in an alternate world. There are many supernatural creatures in this world hiding in human society and living their own lives. Among them, the vampire community is the most secretive and dangerous because of their immortality and diet.

There are two types of vampires: purebloods/nobles & converts. Pureblooded vampires' origins are unknown. Some believe that they were created by the witches. Some believed them to be otherworldly creatures/demons who managed to come through the veils. In any case, pureblooded vampires are born from the pureblooded vampires only. But pureblooded vampires are extremely rare. Purebloods have no problem walking under the sunlight. They also have special powers. Most pureblooded vampires along with the converts were slaughtered by the Council of Supernatural Extant in the 18th century.

Converts or converted vampires are the ones that were human once. For some unknown reasons, only humans could be converted into vampires by the purebloods. To convert a human into a vampire, a vampire must first bite the human and then, give that human some of the vampire's blood. These vampires are inferior in many ways compared to the pureblooded vampires. Converts cannot tolerate the sunlight. It's not like they cannot walk under the sun, but they get allergic reactions under the sunlight especially the newborn converts. However, if converts level up and become strong, they can develop tolerance to the sunlight.

Both converts and pureblooded vampires have one major weakness: Enchanted wood. These woods are specially crafted by the fae for the hunters. These hunters are people of the council who hunt/kill/capture the rogue supernatural creatures.

In the current scenario, the converts started to act strangely because of the supernatural celestial events. The recent eclipses have started to affect the converts in a strange way. The converts caught cold and fever which was strange enough because the vampires never get sick. The converts started to attack humans. They lost their mind and intelligence. Currently, they are attacking humans. Just a bite from these vampires is enough to turn humans into vampires. These strange converts are called vampire zombies or mindless vampires or monsters by the council and the purebloods. Some believe that this is happening due to the law of nature while others believe that it's the evolution. These new vampires can't be killed by the enchanted wood. They only follow their instincts and afraid of sunlight because of their low cultivation.
