470 Under Attack

Lord Voron received the call that the second ship has met up with the first ship.

"Good."

"What do you want us to do sir?" The mid age Captain asked.

Voron hated that he had to lose a perfectly good working ship, but it would be worst if that fledgling caused more trouble for them, "Shoot it down. Then take over their mission, understood?"

"Yes, sir."

"Good. Contact me went you are done."

"Yes, sir." Ending the connection, Voron finally drop his worries.

Walking back into his study, he saw Rychell reclining back in his chair, almost asleep.

"Is everything handled?" Rychell asked once he saw his friend walking back into the study.

"En. They met up with the first ship before it reached the clan. It should all be taken care of tonight."

"Great, the quicker we get this done the better." Closing his eyes, Rychell allowed his body to rest.

Voron looked at his friend then shook his head, what would he do without me?

Onboard the second ship, the captain was following Lord Voron orders as he continuously fired at Mika.

"Aaah! Why are they shooting at us!? We are on the same side!" Osonia shouted, not understanding why she is about to die again.

"...and what 'side' might that be? If you actually thought the King would let you drink from his cup, you're really fooling yourself." Mika mocked as she tried to outrun the vessel behind them by taking a sharp turn to the right.

However, the ship behind them wouldn't let her flee off course, and shot out one of her engines.

Making the ship drastically slow down.

"F**k!" Mika slammed her hand down.

"What is happening?"

"We're heading right for my clan and we just lost on of our engines."

"...but that means they will catch up to us."

"Yea, no s**t."

"Can't you do something?" Osonia looking at Mika imploringly.

"What? You don't want to say hello to your little friends back there?" Osonia shut her mouth, realizing she was asking for help from the very person whose her family she and her crew were about to kill.

Finding the ship's weapons, Mika gave herself a crash course before activating the cannons while pushing the remaining engines pass their limits.

Raising the craft higher into the air, Mika hoped this plan of hers worked if not, she and the Amara clan might be doomed.

Flying straight up into the air was quite difficult with three engines and a ship this size, as Mika found out when the ship's warning lights and message started to blare.

"WARNING! WARNING! ENGINES ARE OVER HEATED!"

Turning all safety overrides off and ignoring the shuttering of the ship, she kept pushing it upward.

Mika didn't pay any attention to the female beside her. She needed all her focus to be on the monitor in front of her.

She waited for the ship behind them to follow her up.

The Captain on the second saw Mika raising in latitude and gave the order to follow.

"Change course and pursue."

"Yes, sir."

The minute the second ship followed, Mika cut the power to her engines.

"What…" Osonia couldn't believe she did that.

They were suspended in the air for one-second, before they immediately started to free fall right into the second ship.

The captain was not prepared for such a move from the crew onboard the first that he froze for a full minute before the sounds of his crew's voices and the ship's alarms woke him up.

"Cut the engines now! Turn the ship to the left immediately!"

Seeing the second trying to move out of their way, Mika directed her vessel's cannons at the feeing ship and fired.

"Incoming!"

"Get the shields up to max!"

*BOOM BOOM BOOM.....*

Several bombs hit the second ship but only a couple did some damage before the crew activate the shields.

A fire raged on the right side of the second ship as it quickly took a sharp left away from the oncoming vessel.

Mika cursed that her hits missed their target. Having lost her chance the only thing she could do now is try to do as much damage to them before they regrouped.

Still free falling, Mika turned the engines back on in time to miss crashing to the ground.

Leveling out and chasing after the second ship, Mika fired off her cannon continuously. She didn't want to give them any time to get themselves together.

However, the shield placed on the second vessel seem to be much better than the one she is currently on, making her the majority of her attacks almost useless.

"Damnit! Come on!" As she continued to fire at the second vessel, she looked through the ship's system to find anything that could help out of this situation.

"Oh no…!" Osonia exclaimed, distracting Mika from the search to look at the monitor.

The second ship release several smaller aircrafts at them. They began firing at her weapons, Mika had no choice but the avoid these aircrafts in order to save her remaining cannons.

In a dire situation, Mika thought about releasing her escape pod, but she was pretty sure their radar would pick it up.

Plus, that wouldn't help her clan out at all. She would have just stopped one ship to let another go.

Right head of them, she could see the Amara clan estate. Mika was stress sweating. No matter how she tried to move the battle in another direction, the smaller aircrafts would send her right back on course towards the estate. Making it impossible for her to maneuver to a safer location.

She didn't want to bring this battle there. Her clan is unprepared for such attacks from up above. She didn't know what the situation is like over there now, but it is about to get worst.
