Osonia debated on what to do. She could continue to restart the mainframe, but it would do no good if the intruder had something else up her sleeves.

Making the call, she back tracked to the elevators to follow after the intruder.

Arriving at the elevators, she saw it went down to the launching deck. Remembering the young female had pressed that button, Osonia was sure the other person was up to something.

Calling for the elevator, she waited as it was coming up.

Ten minutes earlier....

Mika went to rest of the way down towards the launching deck by herself, singing all the way.

"????Bad girl, bad girl...what you gonna to do? What gonna do when they come for you….Bad girl, bad girl, what you gonna do? What you gonna do when they come for you?...????"

*Ding!*

The doors opened, Mika got out and saw the launching deck with all it's shuttles parked inside and dozen among dozen of escape pods ready in their ports to be released.

Searching around, she sighed in relief that no one was on deck before she got to work.

The first thing she did was disable the service elevators. She didn't need them anymore and she sure as hell wasn't going to allow others to keep using them, only to make her job more stressful.

*Clang!*

The elevator that Osonia was waited for, stopped on the floor below hers and wouldn't move.

"Wha...What is going on?" She punched the button forcefully.

When it still wouldn't move, she surmised that the young female must had done something to it.

Walking back to the vent, she picked up the cover and used it to pry open the elevator doors.

She just needed to go from level eight to the launching deck, that is a four floor difference.

Tearing the sleeves off of her uniform she tied them around her hands. Squeezing through the gap she made in the doors, Osonia began to climb down the elevator shaft to the launching deck.

Mika disabled all the shuttles on deck and connected her wristband to the ship's mainframe. From there she picked a nice and cozy escape pod for her to settle down into.

She needed to make sure the oxygen flowing in the escape pod is open inside and free of blockage or else her whole plan would be all for nothing.

As she went through the motions of checking to escape pod's control system, a noise on the deck taught her attention.

Stopping everything she was doing, Mika listen closely for it again.

*Bing* *Clang* *Boom*

She didn't know what the noise was but it couldn't be good. Closing the escape pod's hatch, Mika darken the lights inside and waited to see what was going to happen.

Osonia had trouble getting the final door to open . As she had left the vent cover on the eight floor to hold those doors open for her, she didn't have anything strong enough to open the one on the launching deck.

Looking all around her, she saw the manual crank to open the doors.

Stepping to the side, she hesitated before cranking the lever. It would definitely made a lot of noise, alerting the intruder on deck of her presence.

However, what other option did she have?

Cranking the lever, loud noises filled the shaft. Until finally the doors were slowly being opened.

Osonia cranking until a gap opened and jumped out, rolling to the side. Fearful that the intruder would attack her as soon as she exited.

When nothing happened, she peeked over the landing to see nobody there.

Observing for a few more minutes, Osonia finally decided to go down to the launching pads. As silently as she could, she took a step at a time walking down the stairs while holding a metal bar in her hands.

Since the weaponry onboard could not be accessed, she got the next best thing. A crowbar.

Slowly and cautiously, she research around the shuttles for that young female she saw earlier.

Come on, where are you…

Growing frustrated with the lack of confrontation, Osonia began think she had imagine the female in the elevator.

When walking to the last shuttle, if she didn't find anything, Osonia knew she would have wasted a lot of time for nothing.

Turning the corner, all she saw was empty space. Lowering the bar in her hands, Osonia cursed. "Damnit!"

Mika watched the female from the time she left the elevator shaft.

She could have taken care of the female right then and there, but something told her not to. One to always listen to her gut, she let the young female continue her search.

Once she let her guard down, that is when Mika will choose to act.

Sneaky up behind the young woman, Mika tapped her shoulder then punched her in the face when she turned around.

Caught by surprised, Osonia fell in the floor holding her nose.

"Ahhh-ow!" Osonia held her nose as it began to bleed.

Mika kicked the bar away from her as she looked down at the young female.

"Osonia. Do what do I own the pleasure of having you track me down with metal bar no less. Hmm?" Mika smiled.

"You-"

"Huh-uh, what about me?" Mika pointed at herself.

"You...You broken my nose!"

"Yes, I did. I didn't like the fact that you were trying to hurt me, after I went out of my way to talk to you. Do you know how hard that was for me?" Mika showed a painful expression.

"We only said three sentences to each other!" Osonia couldn't believe this female.

"Really? It seemed much longer… Anyways, you should be happy with that, some people don't even get my acknowledgement."

Somewhere, at the southern border, Braeden let out a big sneeze.
