269 The "Mikaela Assumption"

When she found out from Ailwin what her sisters and Valindra were planning on doing to her. She decided she has been too nice lately.

She was going to leave Valindra alone after the match. However, since she wanted her soul to be tortured for all of eternity, that idea went out of the window; And as for her sisters....well their attention will soon be away from her for a while.

Taking Valindra's idea of redecorating, Mika made her room just as she wanted. She has no plans of getting another roommate nor of leaving the Blue dorm, she made sure of it.

As Nylian wasn't the only one who Mika berated in her letter to the Dean. She also called the school out for not teaching their students properly ( regardless that she is one of their students ) and their lack of security. To smooth things over with her, Dean Eolith promised that she can keep the dorm room all to herself for the remainder of the year.

Knowing that no one will bother or touch her things, Mika set up her research station and monitors as she liked.

"Okay, now lets get down to business." Mika cracking her knuckles, she looked up Valindra's clan and found every little bit of information she could about them. Using what she could find, she started her retribution for Valindra.

With Valindra's clan main source of money coming from an auction house, Mika logged in to their site and created multiple accounts under different names. From there she made sure to buy all the premium items that was up for auction at high sky prices.

She did this for a full week, and by midweek all her accounts were already upgraded to VIPs.

The moment Valindra's father, Lord Goren, saw all the items being sold, he smiled from pointy ear to pointy ear. Rubbing his hands together, he swiftly contacted his accountant to do an audit on their accounts. If things kept on this way, he was thinking of expanding.

When the accountant arrived and began his assessment on the auction house's financial situation, he was stun by how they were still operating.

Bring his finding to the Goren, the accountant revealed that all the auction house's bank accounts were empty.

"What!? How is this possible! We have been bring in so much credit lately!"

Goren didn't want to believe the accountant, even thought the evidence was laid right before his eyes. Needing to see for himself, he logged into all the auction house's bank accounts and they all said the same thing, negative.

Mika had hacked into their bank accounts and stolen every credit she could find. Then using their own money, she purchased all their premium items at above market price.

With the auction house having to pay their client a percentage for the sales of goods and their employees, they had no idea that they were giving away those expensive items for free.

By the time he found out the cause of the problem, it was already too late. The business was in the red. The wealth that Valindra had so much confidence in, disappeared before her eyes.

The fall of Valindra's clan had cause as big of a splash in the high clans. No one knew who was the person behind the demise of the clan's businesses. The authorities didn't know, the bank didn't know and Goren didn't know who he offended to cause such an outcome.

They tried tracking the items, but they were all sent to different locations after being bought without any trace of them ever being there.

Soon every Lord and Madam were calling for accountants to check over their business and clan books. It was a good time to be an accountant.

Two Weeks Later…

Mika was sitting down at her desk looking over her samples again when someone started to bang on her door.

Carefully storing away the slides, tubes and all her notes, Mika may sure that all was clear before opening the door.

What greeted her was Kaze's amused face.

"Tell me it was you because if it wasn't then I'm fairly sure there is another you out there."

"What are you talking about?" Turning around, she left Kaze at the open door.

"I'm talking about this…" Kaze held up a tablet in front of her face that was playing a video of Prince Thallan and Lula on a loop.

"Hmm...amusing, but what makes you think it's me." Mika laughed while she moved the tablet out of her face.
