233 Meeting Expectations 10

With the wooden sword piercing through the water bubble at a force Mika couldn't stop. She had no choice but to move her body to escape the attack.

That moment of distraction was all Ms. Ynaselle needed to gain the upper hand.

Back on solid ground, Ynaselle bought forth her own gifts. Huge boulders sprang up from the dirt. Dust and dirt clouded the area making it impossible for Mika to see her opponent.

Sensing something coming her way, Mika quickly guided the bubble up and away from the oncoming danger.

*Boom!*

Ms. Ynaselle was flinging boulders at her!

Mika could hardy believe that anyone could lift up boulders twice there size and throw them as far as Ms. Ynaselle was.

Taking special care to navigate the bubble around the large flying missiles, Mika try to pay close attention to ms. Ynaselle's movements.

Placing her hands on the ground, Ynaselle seems to call the rocks to her.

Does she have an advance form of terra control? Mika thought as she again watch as Ynaselle just pulled the rock from the ground.

This is not good...

Every time the boulders landed, they would spew dust and dirt into the air, making Mika become blind.

To the point where Mika had one too many close calls with a giant boulder. To solve this problem Mika saturated the ground with water, but having done so made her bubble smaller.

Well, at least no more dust will be flying up in the air... Mika sighed at the lost of mass.

The sparring ring was now litter with boulders stacked on top of each other. There was almost no more ground for her to dig up boulders from.

Seizing the chance, Mika launched a twenty water arrows at Ms. Ynaselle panting body.

As the arrows closed in on Ynaselle's form, Mika wondered by she wasn't moving.

Is she tired already? Mika look confusingly at the teacher. She is missing something.

Just as the water arrows were about to hit their mark, Ms. Ynaselle disappeared. An empty wet spot where she used to be was all that was left.

Bewildered by her opponents moves, Mika tried to analyze what just happen. She knew Ms. Ynaselle wasn't a figment of her imagination, and professor Zaos hasn't call a quit to the match.

So, it must mean she is hiding somewhere within the rocks...

Mika had just figured it out, when she sensed danger coming at her from behind.

Not even bothering to look behind her, Mika swiftly moved the bubble as fast as she could out of harm's way.

However, little did she know that Ynaselle was expecting her to do that.

*Boom!*

Suddenly in front of Mika emerged a golem made of stone.

"Wha the f**k!" Mika veered to the left to escape the golem's swing arms.

"Aww! I worked so hard to make him for you... You should play with him for a while..." Ynaselle shouted out from Mika's side.

Mika felt a headache coming along. She had Ms. Ynaselle on her left and the golem on her right. She was sure that the teacher was going to use the golem to attack her while she sneaks up on her from the side.

"Oh, man... She's done for!"

"Thank the Gods, I didn't ask Ms. Ynaselle to be my sparring partner!"

"Teacher is not going easy on her one bit..."

"She'll be lucky to make it out of this in one piece, let alone with a good score..."

The students didn't think that Mika could make it out of this situation unharmed. Many thought that it was such a pity for such a good-looking girl to be beaten up by her teacher. Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click www.novelhall.com for visiting.

On the other hand Saavi and Jonas, believes that Mika will show Ms. Ynaselle and Professor Zaos something surprising.

"These people who couldn't even get high scores themselves, dare to say my young miss is going to fail..." Saavi huffed at the comments she heard about Mika.

"Forget about them. They just want her to fail to feel better about themselves."

Jonas' and Saavi's voices were not low, leaving many to overheard their words. Yet, when they turned their heads to confront the two they realized Jonas and Saavi were the two of the few students who received high scores.

Furthermore, their gifts were something they themselves couldn't handle. It would be best for them to act like they hadn't heard them at all.

"See, cowards..." Jonas smirked at two students who dreams he remembers.

Seeing a smile on the boy who caused their nightmare, the two shivered and tried to be invisible.

"Jonas, look..." Saavi grabbed Jonas' arm as she pointed to the battle taking place in the ring.

In the sparring ring, Mika release herself from the bubble and dropped to the floor. Everyone watching, including Ms. Ynaselle, thought she was giving up. Faced with now two strong opponents, it would only natural.

Contrary to their thoughts, Mika gathered the water bubble floating above her head and turned it into twin blades that mirrors the swords burned at the Steppes.

Grasping the swords in her hand, almost like they were solid objects, she looked at Ms. Ynaselle and nodded her head.

Does she still want to fight...? She had some guts, but I'll quickly make her lose that confidence. Ynaselle thought when she saw Mika ready for battle.

Changing her mind on letting her pet play with the young girl, Ynaselle figured to would be more fun to play with this girl herself.
