It wasn't long before the news of Prince Ailwin's visit, spread throughout the estate.

Many of the members, especially the young misses, were excited to meet the bachelor. One in particular person was Lady Delju. Feeling that this might be her and her daughter's best chance at redemption.

\"Sienna, get up!\"

\"Mmm...?\"

They both had been trapped in their courtyard under house arrest since Lord Mano caught Sienna stealing honey from the orchard.

\"Get up, right now!\" Delju pulled her daughter out of bed. For the past few months, Sienna has been slacking off on maintaining her appearance due to being confine within her courtyard.

She didn't have anyone to attend to, no friends to see or no parties to go to, which left her feeling lazy and indifferent to almost everything.

\"Ugh...mother, stop it!\" Sienna tossed aside her blanket and her mother's hands as she sat up.

\"Sienna, get up right now. This instant!... We have chance at getting off of house arrest.\" Lady Delju whispered into her daughter's ear, afraid someone would hear her plan.

At the thought that she might be able to get out of her courtyard and see her peers again, Sienna sat up and looked at her mother, wanting to hear the plan.

\"Did father forgive us?\"

\"No...\" When she heard her mother's response she wanted to lay back down, but Lady Delju stopped her, \"Ah-hey-hey! A special guest is coming to visit though.\"

\"So? What does that have to do with us! How does that get us out of here!?\"

\"Shhh!...\" Delju peeked her head outside the door, to make sure no one was around to hear them.

\"The last time the clan had a special guest come visit was when?\" Sienna shrugged her shoulders.

\"Sigh...\" Have we been trapped in here so long that she can't even remember such a big thing! Delju shook her head, \"...Prince Thallan...Thallan!\"

Sienna looked at her mother in disgust. \"You mean to say Prince Thallan is here and you want me to throw myself at him like Lula did! No way! Never!...\"

Argh!...when did this girl become so stupid?

Although they have been confine to their courtyard they were still able to hear gossip from their maids and other servants in the clan.

\"No no no! You think your father would allow Prince Thallan to enter the clan household again and even entertain him after that whole fiasco? No, it's not Prince Thallan this time...it's Prince Ailwin!\" Lady Delju's eyes sparkled with delight.

\"What! Are-are you sure?\"

\"Yes! The servants outside have been talking about for the last two days.\"

\"Two days! Why didn't you tell me sooner!\" Sienna jumped out of bed and ran to her mirror.

\"I had to make sure. Besides, I thought my daughter wouldn't need that much time anyway. Who would've thought you have let yourself go so much...\" She skim her daughter's appearance from head to toes and back.

Sienna couldn't deny that she neglected her looks.

\"When will he arrive?\" She started thinking of the possibilities of marrying him.

\"In the afternoon.\"

\"What!? Mother, you should have woken me up earlier then!\" Sienna stomped towards her wardrobe.

\"I had to get the plan in place so we could actually get out of here and meet the prince...\"

Sienna hated to admit that she wanted to rip out Kamryn's eyes when she married Prince Thallan. She was depress for weeks after the wedding. It was only when the story of Lula and her brother-in-law broken out across the country that her happy mood returned.

I lost the chance before but not this time! Sienna was one hundred percent confident that if she was the one who married Prince Thallan, he wouldn't dare to look at one of her sisters.

\"Even so, how can we get out of here? We couldn't even get out for Kamryn's wedding.\"

\"You leave that to me. I haven't been lazying around like you... I'm not powerless yet!\"

Sienna secretly wanted to roll her eyes at her mother's words, If you're not powerless, why were we stuck in this courtyard for how many months!?

\"For now, you just focus on fixing your appearance, while I work on your father.\"

___

The sun was high in the sky and Mika could see in the distance the Amara estate.

\"Are you happy to be home?\" Ailwin walk up beside her as she looked out the window.

\"A little…\" She rather not see most of the family members, but knowing her mother was there and Pia too, made coming back feel good.

Ailwin stared at the estate ahead of them. He couldn't stop himself from being nervous. This was like a battle for him, and whenever he would go into battle he liked to be prepared for anything and everything.

\"Are you okay?\" Mika asked seeing the strain on his face.

\"Yeah, I just realized I don't really know much about your family and I'm about to meet them.\"

\"Heh...What do you want to know?\" Mika turned around and sat down in an empty chair in the cafeteria.

Unfortunately, the chairs weren't made for her height in mind. Her feet swung back and forth off the floor, making Ailwin smile when he saw it.

Damn these chairs…this is height discrimination!

Mika didn't realize the problem with the seats until after they left the prince's home. She surely would've had them lower the chairs three inches so her feet could at least skim the floor. The servants even started treating her like a bubbling toddler after seeing her feet swinging back and forth for the first time.

Just when will my growth spur happen!?

\"I haven't been able to find much information about your mother. Tell me, what is she like?\"

Mika was pretty sure the reason he wasn't able to find any information on her mother because her mother made it so.

\"Mmm… She is an elegant person.\" Mika felt that word describes her mother perfectly.

\"Elegant. That's it?\"

\"Mmm...yeah.\"

\"Mika, you have to help me out here. Tell me the things your mother doesn't like.\"

\"The royal family.\"

\"…...\"

Is she purposely trying to set me up to fail!
