300 The King's secret 4

Kaze looked down at the comm he just sent to Braeden's wristband.

"King's men...secret mission...monster…" Although he wanted to elaborate, he was afraid of someone intercepting it.

The things he found in Adamar's and his companions memories had him worried. He never imagine that following after Miss Mikaela would result in him under covering this big secret.

"Things are going to start to get sticky….I hope Miss Mikaela is prepared…."

In a classroom full of students listening to their Professor speak on the history of Kaia Kingdom, Mika was sleeping.

"Before the Great War, our planet, Inay, we had one country and that was Kaia. After the Great War and the death of our Queen, Analise, some Fae chose to break away from Kaia and start their own countries; which led to many civil wars and eventually the nations we have today….Can anyone name the first nation to break away from Kaia?"

A dozen hands rose in the air, they each had received basic of education before applying here, if they didn't know this answer, the professor thought would have his work cut out for him.

"Yes, Celaena…"

"It's the..."

"Doughnuts…"

"….doughnuts nation."

"Yes, the doughnuts-what!…" The Professor looked at Celaena in dismay.

She usually a very bright girl why would she say something like that.

The rest of the class snickered at Celaena's plunder while she was busy glaring at the cause of her stupidity.

Mika had her head down on the table next to her, taking a nap during class. Celaena stucked her teeth. That wouldn't have bothered her if it weren't for Mika's constantly sleep-talk about food.

Now that it has made her look like fool in front of the professor and their classmates, she was tempted to use her powers to go back in time to change her answer.

Yet, before she could the bell rung and class was over. Their classmates ran out of the room while the Professor gave Celaena a disappointed look before leaving as well.

*Yawn* "Is class over…?" Stretching her arms high above her head, Mika turned to ask Saavi.

"Yes, and you need to stop sleeping in class…" Saavi was at wits end to Mika's lay back attitude lately.

If Lady Lyra were to see this...sigh.

"Why? The Professor told me I could."

"...."

Saavi thought back to when Mika first decided to take a nap in class.

Mika had found the class lecture boring so she decided to rest her eyes.

"Saavi, I'm going to sleep. Waking me up when this is over…"

"Mika, don't."

"Too late…" She already had her head down before Saavi could stop her. Five minutes into her nap the Professor notice that one of his students had the audacity to sleep in his class.

"Miss Amara! You dare to sleep in my class…!" Saavi quickly shook Mika's shouders.

"...huh..wha…?"

"Miss Amara, is my class boring to you?"

"Um...ye…" Mika glance over at Saavi to see her subtly shaking her head.

Young miss, you know he was not asking a real question...please don't answer truthfully….

"Miss Amara, have you heard the quote 'Only a fool who has not done half a day of their work will always find time to sleep…'" The Professor held his head up high and smirked as the class giggled at her expense.

"Ah...yes, yes...I do believe I have heard of that quote before. However, Professor have you heard of this quote, 'There is a time for many words and there is a time for sleeping; the best time for sleeping is when a lecturer is speaking... "

"Pttf!" Having the students laugh at him was outside of the Professor's thoughts, he felt like he was about to cough up a mouthful of blood.

"You..!" Slamming his hands down on his desk he pointed at Mika, "Sit down and do not disturb the class anymore!"

"Yes, sir." Mika retook her seat and went back to sleep.

Coming out of the memory, Saavi look to Mika and sighed...

Young miss, that is not what the Professor meant.... never gave you permission to sleep in class.

"Let's go...I'm in the mood for some doughnuts for some reason. You think they will serve some in the cafeteria…" Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click www.novelhall.com for visiting.

Hearing the words doughnuts again made Celaena want to flip the table over.

*Beep* *Beep*

Jonas looked down at his wristband and frowned. Pulling Mika to the side he passed her his band.

A comm was displayed on the screen from Kaze, it read: King...genocide...monster...plague...Ailwin in danger.

That was a whole lot of unpleasant words to hear in one message.

Hunger forgotten, Mika rushed back to her dorm room.

*Bang!*

She ran right for her computer, her finger speedily ran over the keyboard as she tried to hack into Rowood City's mainframe.

What the hell happened over there…!?
