"During those two months those men took over the city, they planned constant trips outside. And everytime they would use the citizens in this city. On one occassion, they took nearly forty citizens out of the city and into the forest and canyons. I don't know where they went or what happened but the citizens let me know that only the Bizana's people made it back. After that last adventure outside, the agronomists began acting very erratic."

"Erratic how?" Ailwin questioned.

"…They wouldn't stop talking about weird sightings of things I can explain." Kelim shook his head.

"About what things?"

"...creatures…" Governor Kelim whispered underneath his breath.

"Creatures? What creatures?...I think I'm missing something." Braeden said holding his head.

"Commander...General....we had it all wrong. The Bizana clan and those agronomists were never here to settle down or help with the honey trees. They were looking for something!" Kelim stressed.

"Do you know what it was they were looking for?" Ailwin felt it might be the same thing the "agriculturists" on his ships were here for.

"No, they still wouldn't tell me or my advisors anything...but one thing I know for certain is that after that last trip, they were scared. Early in the morning the next day, they dragged me out of bed to reinstate me as Governor...like nothing had ever happened. Of course I was happy to get back to my position, however soon there were reports coming in of the Bizana's soldiers becoming sick. Even some of the citizens who never left the city began showing signs of being sick…."

"Signs?" Braeden asked for clarification.

"Yes, first they would run a fever then slowly their skin would develop black spots. Their hair and teeth would fall out until finally their whole body would become black and slimy. Almost as if their skin was melting. The healers in the city couldn't explain it. They didn't know how to cure it and soon afterwards they fell sick too. Once the healers got infected the city began to panic. I had no other choice but you have everyone stay indoors to isolate to infected."

"I tried to find the reason this was happening and the only explanation I can think of was the Bizana clan. When I went again to seek answers from them, they too had been infected. I couldn't let the citizens leave this city and possibly infect other people. The only thing I could think of doing was burning the infected. However, the citizen fought against this as their love ones were technically still alive."

"Running out of options, I sent numerous report out to the capital about the situation but I received no response. The only thing I could do was release the distress beacon to any ships for help."

After listening to the recount of the whole ordeal, Ailwin's clenched his fists.

The King knew about this for ten months, and just like these people suffer like this!

…and where is the conflict he sent us here for!?

The governor was waiting for Ailwin and Braeden to say something, but the two sat with sullen silence.

Their heads were cast down as they couldn't bring themselves to tell Governor Kelim that they weren't here to help him with the Plague.

"Governor Kelim, as a member of the royal family allow me to apologize on the King's behalf." Ailwin stood up from his sit and bowed to Governor Kelim, Braeden stood as well to follow after his friend.

"No, there is." After they reclaim there seats, Ailwin looked Kelim in the eyes and explained why they are here.

"Governor, I'm sorry to tell you this but we are not because of your distress signal nor are we prepared to help to citizens of this city."

"I don't understand...why are you here then?" Kelim felt his hopes vanishing.

"We were sent by the King to protect a couple of "agriculturists" and to help stop any disputes in the area."

"Agriculturists? Disputes? There are no disputes here...just dying people!" Ailwin and Braeden looked at each other, Kelim's eyes turned red as tears drips down his face.

"You can't just leave us to die here..."
