Christopher and Kaylee were now both sitting on the bed. Kaylee is facing Christopher's back. The words 'Marry me!' coming out from Cristopher's mouth is like a miracle. She's aware that he hated commitments, yet he said those two words. "You see, I didn't mean it that way." A low b but voice rang into Kaylee's ears. "What do you mean, then?" Christopher let out a sigh.

"You heard what Mom said back then, right?" Kaylee frowns. "What is it?" Christopher turns around to face Kaylee. "About my marriage!" Kaylee went silent for seconds. "You mean, your marriage with Sofia?" Christopher nods. "Something like that."

"Your point is?" Christopher took a deep breath. "I know it's too much for me to ask you this favor, but believe me, I don't want to drag you into this. It's just that there's no way I would ask someone, given that we have a contract. I don't want to violate our contract! It's important to me." Kaylee bites her lower lips. "So basically you wanted to marry me instead of Sofia is that right?"

"Yes! — I mean no! It's not like that. I don't want to take away all your freedom. After all, it's your choice who's you're going to marry." Kaylee smiles weakly 'The moment we sign our contract, you already took away my freedom, plus you have all the rights to ask me that favor. I already know the moment I signed that contract, I cannot allow myself to marry someone. You're always so kind to me, you respect me despite being just your bed partner. I am willing to do anything just to help you. So it doesn't matter to me if I am entering into that fake marriage with you. '

Christopher waves his hand in front of Kaylee. "You don't need to force yourself. I'm just asking, just in case. Don't worry, I'll find another way to deal with this marriage—"

"I'll do it." Christopher looks at Kaylee with surprised. "What do you mean?" Kaylee gulps. "I'll do anything you asked me to."

"You don't need to force yourself, Kaylee." Kaylee smiles. "I'm not forcing myself, this is what I want to do, I will do it Top, anything."

"You sure?" Kaylee nods as she put his hand in her ears. "Come on, let me hear the plan."Christopher looks at her blankly. He was about to go crazy, thinking about this matter the whole day, yet when he said it to Kaylee, it doesn't bother her at all. Kaylee blinks "Come on, tell me what am I supposed to do, when or where am I supposed to act?"

"Ah! Yeah!" Christopher said to Kaylee about how's her mother planning about his marriage and Sofia is most likely the only woman around Christopher who can possibly be his bride. At some point, it appears that Ethan and Sofia have a secret relationship, and Christopher doesn't have any interest in Sofia.

"So if the marriage is brought up, I just have to pretend as your girlfriend." Christopher nods. "And we're going to convince your Mom to postpone the wedding?" Christopher nodded again. "Hmm. And if we cannot convince her. Will you marry me?" Kaylee looks twice. "I-I will."

"This kind of arrangement is a bit weird, right?" Christopher asked. Kaylee nodded. "Hmm. Sort of." Christopher looks at Kaylee as he holds her chin. Kaylee lightly presses her lips together. Christopher moves closer to her ears. "I'm sorry, for dragging you all the way here, for making you do all these. I'm sorry for everything." Christopher said with a low voice as his lips pressed against Kaylee's.
