136 Death's Voice

I call forth my hellfire and light us both up! He grits his teeth but keeps going higher and higher we go! I yell out and unleash as much hellfire as I possibly can, watching as his grip starts to loosen. Lightning literally strikes past us, nearly hitting us as the rain continues to pour.

I yell out "Mortem!!" Death and watch as he takes the hit with only the smallest flinch! Lightning tears through the air next to us, making my skin crawl as the sound of thunder nearly deafens me! My hellfire burns out as I'm left with nothing but my bare hands and magic.

He flies higher and higher until he comes to a stop and says "You will know pain and only know pleasure when I give it to you! You WILL obey me, Eris! You will SUBMIT!" I grit my teeth and blast him with all of the magic I own!

He cries out and suddenly we're falling! He struggles to stop me but I turn myself into the biggest bug zapper known to man! When I see lightning flying past us again, I get the craziest idea and reach out. I lace my hand with my remaining power and grab the lightning bolt!

I scream out in pain as I turn it to hit Enzo right into his back! He screams out in pain as the lightning hits him and unfortunately, me as well! We both scream out in pain as the lightning bolt tears through both of us.

Suddenly, another bolt hits us as we continue to fall from the sky. I grit my teeth and think 'This is it... this is how I die...' as I suddenly feel myself falling all alone. I have no idea where Enzo is but the last time I saw him, he was falling as well.

Rain stings as it hits my raw skin but when I try to heal myself, I realize I'm out of magic. I'm tapped out... I really am going to die this time... I try to brace myself for the hit but when I feel something dark wrap around me, my eyes flutter over to see Binx!

No! That means... that means Kian can escape the house! We land hard, but we were alive! Binx's dark form grows and tries to cover me as Enzo crashes down next to me! Enzo curses and slowly picks himself up with anger twisting his face.

I try to sit up, I try to lift a hand but nothing works! "Binx..." I cry out with a weak voice. "Run!" I yell out but when Enzo is suddenly attacked from the side, I see a familiar face. Suddenly, Kian's before me, scooping me up in his arms with anger and fear written all over his beautiful face.

I try to push him as I struggle to say "Run! Run away!" but he doesn't listen! Enzo appears behind him and grabs the back of his neck! I fall forward and yell "Nooo! Please Enzo! Please! I'll do whatever you want! I'll do it! Just let him go!"

The rain pours so hard, I can barely see or maybe I'm just so close to death, I can't see, who knows. Kian tries to hurt Enzo but he's just no match! Enzo sneers and looks to me and asks "Does he really mean that much to you? THIS!? He's nothing! A baby!"

I cry in desperation as I say "Please... I'm begging you." Binx stays by my side and says "Allow me to attack, Eris! Let me kill him!" I feel my heart bleed as I struggle to say "Attack.." with a broken heart. Binx lunches an attack on Enzo and I watch as he falters a bit.

My world becomes dark as I struggle to keep my eyes open but when I feel Binx's pain, I scream out! "BIIIIIINX!!" Enzo crushes Binx and then summons a large looking cage made out of black bones. He throws Kian into the cage and locks it before picking Binx's limp form up. He's weak because I'm dying...

Binx starts attacking him again, even in his pain but Enzo manages to hold him back as he says "ENOUGH! Eris Hallows, I wanted to keep you as a pet but my patience has run out." Suddenly, he reaches into his chest and rips out his own rib, confusing me and grossing me out all at the same time!

While holding Binx in one hand, the bloody rib in the other, he slowly walks over to me while the humans start shooting at him again but their bullets do nothing to him. Kian screams out and tries to break out of the cage but even I can tell it's not a normal cage.

The cage is radiating dark magic almost similar to the magic coming off Enzo. When Enzo stops next to me, he kicks me over onto my back. Binx claws into his hand and arm with a viciousness I rarely see but it barely fazes Enzo.

Kian yells out and curses at Enzo but Enzo completely ignores him as he stands over me. The sky lights up above him as he looks down at me and says "We could have had fun, Eris. You just had to go and ruin a good thing..."

I struggle to see with all the rain but when I try to say something, I cough up warm blood. What's really strange though, I can't seem to feel any pain. I guess grabbing a lightning bolt will do that to a person... Enzo lifts his bloody rib and then plunges it straight into my heart!

Lightning flashes as thunder cracks! Kian screams bloody murder as I look up into Enzo's solid black eyes. I grit my teeth and regret not being strong enough. I regret not being able to save them... I regret a lot of things.

He rips the rib back out, causing me to suck it! Gods it hurts... I can feel again and I'm dying... More blood comes up as warm blood rushes out of my chest. I can feel again but I've seemed to have lost my ability to hear.

Enzo lifts Binx and smiles when he seems him limp. He throws Binx down next to me and starts walking over to Kian. I turn my head to look at Binx on the ground next to me and see that he's back in his cat form.

I'm so sorry Binx... I'm so sorry... Binx's eyes slowly open as he struggles to crawl closer to me. When I look back up to Enzo, I see him saying something to Kian. Kian's eyes were glowing blood-red as he struggles to break free of the cage and kill Enzo.

I'm sorry Kian... I'm sorry...
