Chapter 6

After the meeting is done, she wanted to go back home and reflect on her actions today but a hand suddenly grasp her wrist.

"Let me drive you home." The handsome man from before said.

She looks at him calmly and says, "I have my baby car waiting for me at the parking lot so you don't need to drive me home."

His faces darkened but he still smiled, "We could have Mark to drive that car."

Mark looks at the man, dumbfounded, but soon as he realized the glare he gave to him, he gulped, "ah!! Yes right! I need to solve some things first but my car is still in repair so... let me borrow your car please, Rui!" He hastily said.

She looked at her best friend, raising her eyebrow, thinking that it was such a lame excuse. Mark got more nervous as he glanced at the handsome man who's now hold a devilish smile.

"Just let me borrow your baby car for this once, please. I promise it wouldn't have any scars on it!! B-Besides, Alaska is such a good man so you shouldn't decline his offer!" Mark said.

Wang Mei Zen sighed. Mark seems to know this man well so she give in to his request, "Fine. I'll let you drive me home."

Mark's eyes glistened with tears of joy, thinking he'll surely pay back his best friend next time, because he couldn't provoke this Alaska Zein in front of him whose now giving him looks to 'get lost'.

Then, Wang Mei Zen gives him her car keys and just like that, he dashed out from them.

Wang Mei Zen just shook her head, then she looks at the handsome man.

"Shall we go then, Miss Rui?" The handsome man, Alaska said as he pulled her by placing his arm around her waist.

Wang Mei Zen flinched at sudden contact. Alaska seems to realized it too so he decided to act as gentleman for now. She's going to be his wife soon after all so waiting for some time isn't going to be that hard.
