Chapter 195: Fight on the bridge

Orange and violet filled the eastern sky as two suns struggled to climb higher. Though the clouds fought vigorously and obscured them now and then. Helpless, they could only travel in the darkness without reaching to the earth, or when the rays sneaked through the clouds, they would be punched back brutally by their competitor.

The chilly breeze never stopped drifting as it tousled their hair and teased their cheeks and played with their clothes—the group walked while freezing gusts of winds came and went. Akash and Ifre had also become accustomed to walking now and never complained about anything.

As they walked, the group looked like the party of fairies and immortals when they walked. Ayaan was handsome and there was no doubt about it, while women around him were no less than goddesses. Each of them had their own charm and beauty, and there was a kind of tranquility in them. Their chuckles sounded like music in Ayaan's head that brought a smile to his own lips.

They traveled and talked and laughed all the way. After walking around two hours, a beautiful blue river entered their view. The group padded their legs on the ground more vigorously towards the river. As they neared the river, the gurgling of water became clear, loud, and soothing. With the increasing sound, the cold also increased as they neared the river, though.

After traveling for some time, their water storage had almost depleted, as it's been some time since they left the lake in the forest—after replenishing their water, Leafwhisk checked the map and saw a bridge on the river. The river was Tonton River while the bridge was Tonton Bridge. Only after crossing this river they could reach the August Capital.

Leafwhisk folded and placed the map in her space ring and pointed north. "In that direction," she looked into everyone's eyes. "Tonton Bridge, around two or three leagues."

Ayaan nodded, followed by everyone else, and they resumed the journey once more. The group walked along with the river, looking into the horizon. Mountains and wilds could be seen, but nothing else. There was no sign of the bridge yet. So the group walked without complaint and talked to each other to avoid boredom.

It took the entire noon to reach their destination. The wooden bridge stood in front of them. Though not too big, still sufficient to cross the regiment of soldiers. Everyone looked at the long bridge that was not shorter than half a kilometer. Ayaan stood at the front of the group and looked in front of him. Last barrier and he would be in the capital.

"Hmm?"

As he was about to embark upon the bridge, he saw someone on the other end. Victor!

Ayaan saw three more people with him, and he was not walking at the front but behind someone. Ayaan narrowed his eyes when he looked at the white-haired man. He had sharp eyes, glittering strongly with strength and vigour. He was around seven feet and had a strong build. Though his hair was white, he looked no older than thirty. There was no wrinkle on his face.

While Ayaan was observing the party in front of him, Victor saw him. "He-he is that boy! He stole our things from pagoda! Father kill him!" looking at Ayaan's group, he screamed frantically and shivered and trembled when he saw Leafwhisk in the group. But then he thought about something and courage returned on his face. "Bitch, last time, you defeated me because my cultivation was low, now I have become Larva Realm. I will defeat you today before fucking to wash the shame of my previous defeat!"

Leafwhisk heard his words, but her expression did not change. However, Ayaan's blood boiled when he heard those insulting words for Leafwhisk. How dare he! When he was about to rush, Leafwhisk grabbed his arm, chiding. "Are you a child or something?"

Ayaan glanced at her in confusion. "There is a powerful enemy in front of us, and you are provoked by that moron. Do you ever think with your head?"

He knew whom she was talking about. The man with white hair, but he felt a terrible urge to thrash that trash, but in the end he sighed and dropped the idea.

"So you are the one who killed my bitch?" after a brief silence, the white-haired man said, looking at Leafwhisk. Then his lips curled into a deep smile, Ayaan reckoned he was sneering. "Trista was quite good in bed, I still haven't found someone like her. You aren't bad either, I will take you," then he turned towards other women and continued. "And you too, will come with me, and become my sex slaves! Hahaha!"

"Like father, like son, you both can only think with your dicks. Total morons," Noor, who stood silent all this time could not take these insulting words anymore and replied. "Oh, are you talking about that Trista… but wasn't your son Victor was fucking her? I thought she was his woman, only now did I realise he made you cuckold, useless."

Elder Luan's face twitched when he heard Noor's words. "You will pay for these words later, woman." His face turned cold and his eyes narrowed.

"Can you only brag, Ol'fart?" Rebecca said with a lazy expression, and twisted her tongue at the last word and spit on the ground, as if spitting on this old fart's face.

Elder Luans body trembled in fury and his fist clenched until his knuckles went white and bones creaked. "You will pay for your words!!" he shouted and dashed on the wooden bridge with an unbelievable speed.

"Alright, everyone," said Ayaan, laughing towards his companions. "We need to kick some asses!"

"Kick asses!" shouted Akash, looking very excited and thrilled by this development.

Leafwhisk looked at Rebecca and shouted, "we fight that old fart. He is strong." She turned towards Ayaan. "Do as you see fit with others."

Ayaan nodded and also dashed behind her, and the bridge trembled and swung as he sprinted towards his enemies with Isobel and Noor. Two little guys left behind as this level of fight wasn't something in which they could take part yet.
