Chapter 160: Easy Kill

The room fell completely silent when the voice came from the door. The Mayor turned around, looking at the entrance in shock while Tami also had a confused and surprised look, not expecting that someone would dare to invade the Mayor's manor so blatantly. He shrank his eyes as he saw a few shadows walking into the room.

What shocked him was that he didn't even realise that a group of people was hearing their conversation. While Tami was feeling shocked, a horrified look appeared on Mayor and his subordinate Ovid's face, because they knew this voice!

"Wh-what are you doing here!?" Mayor Vylan's voice trembled as he questioned. "Don't you know I am the subordinate of the Empire? Do you know you are committing treason by invading my palace?" the more he spoke the more confident his voice became.

Ayaan stood in front of the group of three, looking down at them as his enormous shadow cast on their bodies. "You think some pathetic empire is enough to frighten me? Aren't you thinking too highly of your Dog Emperor?"

"How dare you!?" shouted Vylan, as he dashed towards Ayaan and punched at him.

"Humph!" a disdainful snort resounded in the room and the temperature of the room dropped significantly.

"Whoosh!"

Suddenly a whooshing sound came and the entire room fell into deep silence. The Mayor looked in front of him in horror and then at his legs that had been frozen. "Wh-what is this? Release me!" he screamed when he felt the cold in his entire body. But the more horrifying thing was that the ice of his legs was spreading at a slow pace, as the ice froze a part of his body he stopped sensing that place.

The single move completely horrified the Mayor. He had never felt such terror. He looked at the girl beside Ayaan who was as beautiful as a fairy or goddess, and her face looked as innocent as a child. However, the Mayor didn't think that she was innocent or beautiful because she was the one who froze his body in just a single move.

"Please, forgive me, I will never dare to do anything stupid to you guys," Vylan pleaded. However, Ayaan sneered at his comment. "Do you think you are worthy of doing anything to us?" After that he completely ignored the man and turned towards Tami. "I have to say that I am fairly disappointed by the man you have hired to kill me." He shook his head.

"Boy, you want to die!?" Tami lost his temper hearing Ayaan's comment.

Ayaan chuckled disdainfully when he heard Tami's shout. "Please, enlighten me with your marvellous skills."

Tami's face turned incensed when he saw Ayaan's disdainful face, and he attacked Ayaan in fury.

"Heh? Dark Element?" an interesting look appeared on Ayaan's face. "Let me handle him."

Tami suddenly disappeared in front of everyone, which surprised Ayaan. However, he soon realised that it was Dark Element that he recently gained a bit of insight. If he could fight with this man, his grasp would definitely become stronger over the Dark Element.

Ayaan closed his eyes and felt his surroundings. Although Ayaan could not see the man at the moment, if there was even a little bit of killing intent he would track Tami's location.

"Whoosh!"

"Gotcha!"

Ayaan turned to his left and blocked the incoming attack with his sabre.

"Boom!"

"Hehe, not bad, you almost injured me," Ayaan chuckled when he saw Tami appearing once more. The man looked at Ayaan in shock and felt shocked that he blocked his attack.

"Humph!" Tami snorted coldly and again disappeared.

Ayaan shook his head when he saw this action. If this was the standard of the assassins in the Assassin Guild, he was fairly disappointed in the guild. Once an Assassin lost the chance of assassination, they should just run away as far as they can and wait for the better opportunity. However, from the start when he Ayaan arrived this man didn't show any sign of escaping.

Assassins are good in sneak attacks, however, this man tried to fight head-on. There could be only two reasons behind his actions: one he was arrogant and thought himself powerful enough to handle Ayaan with no problem. Second, he was utterly stupid. And Ayaan definitely didn't think this man was smart. If he was, he would have run away when he saw a tragic condition of the Mayor.

Ayaan suddenly turned towards his left and extended his hand in front of him and squeezed cruelly.

"Yo...u… cough," Tami looked in front of him in horror and his eyes bulged in their sockets as Ayaan tightened his grip on his neck. He couldn't believe that this boy perceived his location so easily.

Ayaan looked at the man in his hand and shook his head. "I thought I could learn something from you...sigh..."

As he spoke he snapped the neck of the man while his face was still expressionless. "Trash," he said and threw the man on the floor like garbage. Afterwards he looked at the trembling Ovid. Suddenly a pungent smell permeated the entire room. Ayaan looked at the wet floor under Ovid and shook his head. "Finish them."

"No, no, please, give me a chance, sir. I will serve you like a dog or horse as you please. I have already informed empire about you killing people in the city, if you kill me they will definitely suspect you." Begged and threatened Vylan at the same time as he heard Ayaan's emotionless voice.

"Do it!" said Ayaan and the ice that covered the man in a very slow pace increased its speed and in a single breaths time turned Vylan completely ice statue that looked the work of a talented sculptor—he couldn't even scream in this time—the same thing happened with the Ovid, turning the man into ice statue with his dripping pants.

"Shatter!"

At the same time ,the two magnificent statues shattered, becoming nothing but small icicles, lying on the ground with no worth. "Let's go," Ayaan said and walked in front of the two ladies. He thought he had to struggle a little to kill these imbeciles but who would have thought that it was so easy.
