"Hey! Why did you poke me?" a little girl asked, an annoyed expression written all over her face.

"It's fun!" the boy replied, a cheerful expression on his face.

"Autumn, your mother's here!" Kyren's mother called out.

"Awww, can't I stay for a bit longer?" the boy, Autumn asked, morphing his face into a pouty one that resembled a puppy.

"Fine, I need to talk with your mother anyways."

"Thank you Mrs. Keith!"

"Do bring your son over anytime," Mrs. Keith said with a sweet smile, "she seems to smile a lot more when he's here."

"Of course! Besides, it's nice to have a safe place to leave my son."
