Chapter 58 - Vol. 3: Noah To Haru - 58

Noah

Haru covered his mouth with the back of his hand, as if he was embarrassed. Noah noted the boy was shaking, and he smiled, knowing he had stirred him with just a kiss.

He leaned forward and planted a kiss on Haru’s forehead. “That was nice,” he said.

“I thought it was just a good luck kiss,” Haru said. “That wasn’t just a good luck kiss.”

“That was my good luck kiss,” Noah said. He wrapped his hand around the boy’s wrist firmly and moved the hand away from his very desirable lips. Before Haru could even protest, Noah kissed the boy again, more gently this time though still as passionate.

Haru didn’t fight him, which pleased Noah. When Haru closed his eyes as if to savor the wonderful, intimate moment they were sharing, Noah chuckled and deepened the kiss, plunging his tongue right in and began ravishing Haru to his heart’s content.

“Ngh...” Haru groaned softly. Suddenly, the boy’s knees gave way, and if Noah didn’t catch him on time, Haru would have collapsed to the floor, with Aki in his arms and all.

Haru was breathless and his face red as he said, “You... You can’t...”

“I can’t?” Noah probed.

Haru shifted his eyes to him, and Noah swallowed hard at the expression on Haru’s face. The boy looked so erotic. Fuck.

“You can’t kiss me like that again, okay?” he demanded.

Noah felt the urge to go further, ravishing Haru from head to toe and fuck the boy, then and there. He, however, managed to control the overwhelming desire. Barely. By a thin thread.

Pretending he wasn’t affected by their passionate kisses and the boy’s beautiful expression, he said nonchalantly, “Why not?”

“You know why,” Haru said, tightening his arms around Aki.

Noah chuckled in amusement as he caressed the boy’s cheek with his thumb. “I’m sorry, Haru, but I don’t intend on not doing that again.” He moved forward and kissed the boy on the forehead. “There, all good now. And thanks for the good luck kiss.”

Haru glared at him. “You’re not taking me seriously, are you?”

Noah chuckled. “Nope. Now, why don’t you take Aki and give him some food? I’m sure he’s starving.”

He needed the boy to leave. The longer Haru lingered in his room, that sweet smell exuding from the boy, the closer he came to being driven crazy. No, not just that scent, but the mere presence of Haru himself would drive him mad with lust, and Noah just didn’t know if he’d be able to stay calm and logical and not do what his carnal desire wanted to do.

Haru took in a deep breath, as if he was working on composing himself. He said, “Yeah.”

Seeing that the boy was struggling to get to his feet, Noah wrapped his arm around Haru’s waist and hoisted him up. Damn, but the boy felt perfect in his arms, and he didn’t want to let him go. But alas, he reluctantly let Haru go, and the boy rushed out the door like the evil was chasing after him, which made Noah chuckle in amusement.

Alone, Noah worked on calming himself down. Then he turned on his heel and headed into the walk-in closet. Once dressed in an immaculate dark suit and his hair sleekly combed back, he headed into the open-plan living area where he saw Haru sitting on the countertop, his legs dangling on the side. In the kitchen, Aki was busy eating his meal.

“Wow!” the boy expressed, his eyes wide. “You look great in a suit.”

Haru’s word made Noah’s heart glow with delight. “Really?” he asked, a smile on his lips. “Thanks.”

“Morning, bro,” Isaac said as he stirred from his sleeping position. “You off to work already?”

Noah nodded. “I have a presentation at nine. Can’t afford to be late.”

“Good luck then.” This came from Mason who had just gotten up as well.

“Thanks,” Noah said.

“So your bed and stuff?” Haru asked. “What do you want us to do about them when they arrive?”

Noah gave Haru a sly smile. He supposed the boy was asking for it.

He said, “Why don’t you make my bed for me, Haru? Since you’re free today.”

“Reo is free as well,” Haru said evasively. “But I suppose...”

Aiden and Reo walked in through the door at that moment. They had just returned from the gym, and they were sweating profusely from their workouts.

“What’s going on?” Aiden asked, looking around.

Mason said, “We’re deciding on who’s going to make the beds when they’re here.”

“I’m free all day today,” Reo said. “It’s a given I’ll be taking care of the furniture when it arrives today.”

“I’ll help,” Haru said. “I don’t have any classes today.”

“I’m free in the afternoon,” Mason said. “I’ll be able to help then.”

“I’m free today, too,” Isaac said.

“Don’t you have a ten o’clock class?” Noah asked, one brow rising.

Isaac waved Noah’s concern aside. “It’s not an important class. I’ll skip it.”

Aiden said, “Then that’s settled. Only Noah and I are going to be out working all day. We’ll leave everything up to you guys.”

Reo said, “No worries. I’m off to shower.” Then he was gone, followed by Aiden.

After downing a cup of black coffee, Noah picked up his briefcase and then headed to the door. “Itte kimasu,” he said.

A chorus of “Itte rasshai” came his way from Haru, Mason, and Isaac, which made Noah smile.

He arrived at the Princeton Group headquarters in a luxurious building across town an hour later after taking the train. He was in a damn fine mood as he proceeded to his desk and powered on his laptop.

“Somebody is happy today,” a voice said, chuckling.

Noah turned to see Zack, his colleague, leaning over the desk opposite him. “You got lucky with a girl or something during the weekend?”

Noah said, “Morning, Zack.”

Zach chuckled. “Morning. I see you’re evading that subject again, eh?”

“Sorry, not in the habit of talking about my private life at work,” Noah said.

“Fine,” Zack said. “Then I’ll stop blabbering on about my two darling girls to you, too.” By two darling girls, the man meant his wife and daughter. Changing the subject, he asked, “Ready for the big presentation?”

Noah nodded. “I’m just getting my PowerPoint presentation up and checking through it now.”

Fifteen minutes later, he and Zack headed off into the conference room where Noah started setting everything up. He was just finishing when the head of the marketing department came in through the door, along with two powerful-looking men.

Noah stood frozen for a moment. Fuck! No one told him Nicolas and Sebastian Princeton were coming to the presentation. He couldn’t believe the CEO of the Princeton Group was here.

Craig, his boss, came over to Noah, and he knew this was his chance to make a connection. Well, for Aiden’s sake, and of course, Lake Aoi Resort and Onsen.

Craig said, “Noah, I want you to meet our CEO Nicolas Princeton, and his brother Sebastian Princeton.”

Noah nodded, putting on his calm and professional attitude. “Hello,” he said, extending his hand out to Nicolas Princeton.

The thirty-year-old man looked damn powerful and handsome with sleek blond hair, aquiline features, and, of course, the Nicolas Princeton trademark—his glasses that sat atop the bridge of his fine nose.

“Noah,” Nicolas said, taking Noah’s hand and then shaking it.

When Nicolas released his hand, Noah turned to the twenty-eight-year-old Sebastian Princeton. With pale-blond hair, azure-blue eyes, and aquiline features, Sebastian was a hunk. Despite the fact this man was only a year older than his brother Aiden and the two’s upbringing was a world apart—Sebastian born into a billionaire family while Aiden to an average household and eventually became orphaned at twenty-one and took the responsibility of raising five younger siblings—Noah couldn’t help but feel they both exuded a sort of power from within that was hard to miss. He knew then, without a doubt, that Aiden would one day bring their family to where the Princeton family was, running multibillion-dollar companies. Of course, to get there, Aiden would need Noah’s help. That was a given.

“Noah,” Sebastian said, shaking Noah’s hand.

Nicolas said, “David told me some very interesting things about you, Noah.” He turned to look at the slide show displayed on the white screen, ready to go. “I’m looking forward to your presentation.”

Noah chuckled. “Thanks, Mr. Princeton.”

“Nicolas,” Nicolas said. “Just call me Nicolas.”

“Of course,” Noah said, suddenly feeling damn good. Fuck, his morning was getting better and better.

Staff started filing into the conference room then, taking their seats. Nicolas and Sebastian took up positions at the other end of the table, and soon, Noah began his presentation. When he was done an hour later, a loud applause went up, and Noah shifted his gaze to Nicolas Princeton, hoping he had done enough to impress the man. He found out he did indeed when the session ended a few hours later, after the others had their chance at presenting their proposals, too.

Nicolas walked up to him and said, “Your presentation was excellent. Join us for further discussions.”

Noah nodded. “Yes, sir..” In the distance, he saw Zack giving him a thumbs-up.
