Chapter 142 - Primordial Divine Beasts

Finishing up with his session with Xing Mei, Yun Long no longer had any excuse the avoid the real-life horror game he was about to attempt.

'Huh… I need to stop being such a b*tch and just find a way out of here'

Yun Long did not even bother summoning a treasure this time around as he felt that even if he was able to activate it, with how far his senses reached, it would be essentially pointless for him to carry around something he would not be able to activate in a state where an attacker would have already offed him.

Finally losing the negative feelings holding him back, Yun Long finally set off as he left the Immortal Realm, finding himself in the spot he left a few hours ago.

This time he focused on the intense feeling within him, and he tried to figure out what exactly could force him to react so.

'Out of all the fictional knowledge I know… the only things that can do so is a heavenly treasure, something that is destined with me, something that has a tied fate to me, something that resonates with my bloodline, or my innate ability…'

'The most likely in this case would be my bloodline… in the current Primal Chaos, the greatest aspect of the God Realm of Absolute Beginning is the fact that you can gain heaven defying treasures and also gain the loyalty of Absolute Beginning Profound Beasts'

'Add that to the fact that I refined a drop of every legacy bloodline I could find in my treasury, there is no reason for it not be the bloodline at this point… the after effect of my greed is still showing after all these years…'

Snapping out his thoughts, Yun Long sensed an immense dread and immediately summoned Vimana: Ark, before he piloted into the sky.

When he glanced down, he witnessed a blur pass where he had just been standing, and knew that his current situation had got even that more dangerous, the deeper one travels into this realm the more dangerous the beasts that appear.

He just decided to follow the direction the feeling was being transmitted from at full speed.

As he sat on the throne, the surroundings started to blur as he kept seeing a different scenery every few seconds, that was until he found a cave within the distance.

This place was dark, but nothing compared to the infinite void…

As he entered the cave, there were four different paths he could take, so Yun Long decided to take the one with the least noticeable usage, checking for the erosion in the rock, dust, cobwebs and all that good stuff.

Unlike the outside realm, the cave amplified the sound so Yun Long could hear his footsteps as they echoed with every step he took.

A few minutes passed as Yun Long started to hear a growl in the distance, halting his steps, he analysed the roar and felt it to be a defensive roar so he decided to carry on walking, even if it was just for the sake of seeing what was waiting ahead of him.

Since the cave was pitch black, what Yun Long did not expect was for the floor in front of him to be hollow, as he then lost his balance and then fell down a few miles in free-fall.

Whilst falling down upside down, Yun Long seriously just started to wonder exactly what he got his idiotic self into at this point…

Halfway through the fall, he just summoned the Chastiefol pillow and lied on it, making it safe for him to fall without being splattered on the eventual floor that he would land on.

A few minutes of free-fall later, Chastiefol finally landed as Yun Long bounced in the air on its impact due to the rebound like a trampoline, as he landed head first in the floor beneath him.

Finding himself in a situations ostriches find themselves in, Yun Long attempted to get his head out for a while until he was successful, as he then proceeded to check his surroundings and made sure no one watched his most embarrassing moment.

"Grr…"

As he was cleaning himself, Yun Long just heard the growl of an enraged beast as he ever so slowly turned around to see three sets of eyes.

A sharp pair of black-golden eyes that was giving off the aura that he had entered the realm of death, Yun Long could almost smell the slaughter intent that the central pair of eyes were radiating.

To it's left was a pair of green eyes that had an similar aura, yet unlike the slaughter intent, this aura was one that naturally gave one the feeling of nature, so Yun Long decided to take a side step to the left just in case something happens.

Whilst the final pair of eyes were vermillion that produced a fierce amount of life aura that even caused Yun Long to pause.

'That life aura is even greater that Xi'er's… but if my ȧssumptions are not wrong then she is directly related if not a direct successor to Creation God Li Suo… it seems I have pushed my luck running into these three'

Yun Long was waiting for the cliché development, but the eyes just kept looking at him, so Yun Long just slapped his forehead before he spoke "Hello? Anyone home?"

Just as he spoke the central pair of eyes faintly flashed as Yun Long had been blown away from the explosion of the soul aura omitted.

"ROOOOOAAAARRRRRR"

The otherwise peaceful landscape was not at the majestic growl of the central eyes, and Yun Long's first thoughts were to summon his Primordial Yin-Yang Sword of Nil, even if he had no experience, if it had to reset him, he would still not go out without fighting.

Getting himself out the crater he found himself in, Yun Long raised his right arm up as a golden ripple appeared in space, before his most overpowered treasure appear.

"Hehe… hahaha… If you think I will just go out like that… you got another thing coming"

He had no information regarding the God Realm of Absolute Beginning, so he had no idea if this was just an inheritance or if it was a ghost type entity that had been formed by creatures that had ill will for the world when they left it.

Slowly releasing the aura of the Yin-Yang sword, Yun Long's hair started to dance with the aura omitted, his pupils slowly contracting, turning into vertical slit pupils, a side effect from having so many beast bloodlines within his body.

But after his little response, Yun Long paused, since there was nothing around him, he just ȧssumed he got kicked too far so he ran forward to find where he had come from, only to see the previously occupied air space to now be free of any eyes.

"Where did you go! This Young Master is not one to be tossed around at your will! Come out and fight this daddy!"

But all Yun Long heard was the whistling of a lonely wind.

'Wait… wind? To be in this realm and already underground and hear wind does not make sense… unless'

Dashing forward, he proceeded to follow the sound of the wind until he came into a bright room that was filled with a heavy ancient aura that made feel Yun Long extremely comfortable.

"Grr… Puny human… to think you had the courage to still advance in the face of the Slaughter God…"

Yun Long turned around to see the familiar three sets of eyes before he said "Okay… Slaughter God? Anyways why did you try and lead me here, you know if you asked nicely, I would have just obediently come along…"

The 'Slaughter God' started to growl louder but the green pair of eyes just said gently "Not anyone can come into this place… little human… could you answer me this one question?"

Finally feeling a little happy that he was getting some respect Yun Long just nodded in his response to her.

"Why can I feel… my bloodline within you… when you are clearly human?"

"Your bloodline… hang on a second… you are a Divine Beast?"

The Vermillion eyes spoke as with a mischievous tone "Oya… you have our bloodlines but you cannot recognise us my child?"

"Ugh… I actually refined hundreds of Divine Beasts so I probably could not… but if my guesses are correct…"

"You are the long-forgotten trio of the original four Primordial Divine Beasts…"
