Chad went to the sub-company on important business, he would be back the next day.

After completing his work, Hiram intended to drive home on his own. For this reason, he first let Ben drive his car out of the parking lot while he stepped outside the office. He then waited for Ben at the gate.

"Hiram!" a voice came from behind him.

Flora had seen Hiram coming out of the Streams Company and was walking towards him.

Upon seeing her, Hiram frowned. At the same time, he saw Ben driving the car out of the exit, and started to walk towards the roadside.

Since returning from the Hot Spring Palace, Hiram had deliberately avoided meeting with Flora.

Without warning, a car suddenly crashed towards where Hiram was standing. It seemed that this car's brake went wrong.

"Watch out!" Flora shouted.

She raced to Hiram, and pushed him out of the way. With a bang, Flora was knocked down by the car.

Hiram stood stunned for a second before realizing what Flora had done for him. He frowned and saw that she would still be conscious, and rushed to help her stand up. "Flora, are you okay?" Hiram asked worriedly.

"Agh! It hurts! Hiram, my feet hurt!" Flora gasped. She was in so much pain that a bead of sweat trickled down her forehead. Looking down at her already-swelling left foot, Flora cried out in pain.

At this moment, Ben stopped the car and got out. He strode to the other car and banged his fist on the window, "What are you doing? You've hit someone! Didn't you see that there were people on the roadside when you were driving? You've injured this woman! What, you don't care that you've hurt someone? Why don't you get out of the car?"

Seeing Flora's pain, Hiram lifted her gingerly from the ground and placed her in the car. He called Ben, "Ben, you stay here to deal with this vehicle accident. I'm taking Flora to the hospital! She needs to see a doctor."

At the hospital, Hiram looked at Flora who passed out from pain on the hospital bed. The doctor had informed Hiram that everything was fine except for her feet. The car had driven over them, crushing and fracturing two toes in her left foot.

When Flora regained consciousness, she saw Hiram sat by the window, "Hiram..."

"Flora, you're awake?" Hiram asked worriedly. He stood up, walked over, and sat down on the chair beside the bed. Then he poured a glass of water for Flora, and said, "Your left foot was injured, so you can't walk for a while. You'll have to rest for some time."

Flora sat up against the bed, took the cup from Hiram, looked at him and replied, "It doesn't matter. Even if I knew that I could have lost my legs, I would still choose to push you out of the way. As long as you are fine, I'm happy."

"Don't say things like that. Right now you need to focus on having a good rest. Don't worry about me. I'm fine." Hiram said emphatically. He stood up and looked at the time as he spoke. He

“Who does she think she is? I won’t marry her even if she is the last woman on earth,” said Hiram Rong.

“Marry into a family with tens of billions of assets? How lucky I am! I won’t be so foolish as to break off the engagement. At worst, I can receive money as part of the divorce settlement,” said Rachel Ruan.

Their great-grandfathers made a pact about their engagement a hundred years ago...

d said sardonically, "Even if Hiram, your husband, recently caught you sleeping with another man, you're looking very well."

Rachel had suspected that Flora would say something along those lines. She pulled up a chair, sat down and replied, "I don't agree with what you've said. However, you are fine, aren't you? You colluded with Marcus to trap me into having an affair with him. This may ruin my marriage so you can take this chance to get closer to Hiram. And Hiram knows the truth?"

"Even if Hiram knows it, so what? Rachel, you had an affair with Marcus, but you still wanted Hiram to love you as usual. Don't you think that's a bit too much to ask from him?" Flora insinuated. She thought smugly to herself, 'Now that Rachel knew the truth, I didn't have to hide what I'm thinking.'

"Oh? Since you give such excellent advice, Flora, what do you think I should do now? Should I divorce my husband so that you can live with him?" Rachel replied. She smiled and thought, 'If I were to divorce my husband, Flora would seize this chance to stay with him. Does she think I'm such an idiot?'

Flora leaned up against the bed and looked mockingly at Rachel.

"Even if you love Hiram very much, you think that would stop him from straying? Hiram loved you, but you slept with Marcus. You've wasted your chance as his wife." Flora replied firmly.

Rachel smiled coldly and said, "You don't get to decide whether I'm his wife or not."

"Hiram is my husband and the father of my children. As long as I'm his wife, you can forget about being with Hiram. Just give up already!" Rachel said firmly.

"You..." Flora started. She stopped when she heard the sound coming from outside.

In a split second, Flora made a quick decision. Flora grabbed the hot soup on the table and poured it down all over herself.

The door of the ward opened.

The doctor came in, followed by Hiram, and both stopped in their tracks as they saw Flora.
