Chapter 432 No More Thanks To Me, Please!

A little while after Rachel had accompanied Celine into her ward, she woke up and began to look at the unfamiliar environment in confusion.

"Ahh, you're awake finally!" Rachel said, as she looked at her and heaved a sigh of relief. Then, she gave her a glass of warm water and said,"You can't eat food now. Just drink some liquids first."

Hearing Rachel's words, Celine slowly turned to her and glazed over blankly for a while, before asking,"Rachel, what has happened to me?"

With a mixture of anger, aggravation and worry, Rachel looked at her and repeated,"What happened? Celine, my dear, how can you do this to yourself? Who does that Philip think he is? Is he really worth dying for?"

The harsh words of her friend reminded Celine of what she had done. Then, she rubbed her aching head and touched her upset tummy, before saying,"I, I...... just drank some wine this afternoon. Then, I got a little emotional and took some drugs."

As the vague memory of her madness gradually surfaced to her consciousness, Celine seemed astonished and kept scratching her head. How could she have caused to herself such a stupid and dangerous thing?

Rolling her eyes at her, Rachel said in astonishment,"Oh my god! Celine, you don't really know the consequence of your crazy obsession, do you? Damn it! I'll ask Hiram to take that bastard here by force tomorrow."

"No, don't do this, please! If you bring him here and let him see me in such a miserable physical condition, I would feel very embarrassed," Celine begged, grabbing Rachel's hands,"Please, promise me that you will never tell anyone else about this. If you are asked, you can just say that I was sent to the hospital due to acute gastritis, okay?"

One thing was sure - she had very strong self-esteem and a fragile ego. If someone happened to know that she has been hospitalized because of drug abuse, her personal image in the company would be completely damaged.

"Okay, I promise you. Don`t worry! But you also have to promise me that you will never do such stupid things any more!" Rachel said earnestly and wholeheartedly.

"Take it easy, darling. I'm not going to be that foolish and weak again. All that happened was that I just drank some wine and got too emotional today. There is no way that I will be stupid enough to kill myself," Celine assured her.

"By the way, why did you want to come to find me today?" Celine asked in an inquisitive tone.

Still cringing fearfully at the thought of what could have possibly happened, if she hadn't been there on time, Rachel said,"I asked Hiram to find you some fine dates. So at first I wanted to call you and ask you out tomorrow. However, I couldn't get through to you on

"Do you know what you did wrong? It's alright if you just wanted to own me. But you should not have helped Molly leave me!"

When Brian learns the truth, there is no chance for Hannah to win his heart.

Molly, who wants to run away from Brian, seems to be the only one to blame for Hannah's misfortune...

Nodding her head, Rachel promised,"Okay, mom! Then, I think it is finally time to go back to my room and have a good rest now."

When getting out of Fannie's room, Rachel found that it was much brighter than when they came back. She then stretched herself with a yawn and went upstairs by elevator instead of staircase.

In their bedroom...

Hiram hadn't slept yet. When he saw that Rachel entered the room, he patted gently on the empty space of the bed beside him and said,"Come and have some sleep."

Rachel took off her clothes and tuck herself in. It sure felt so nice to cuddle in Hiram's arms, so she opened up to him and whispered softly,"Honey, thank you so much!"

"Don't be silly, dear. What do you thank me for? Am I a stranger to you? No more giving "thanks" in the future, alright? I'm your man and I'm always here to protect you and the people important to you. You should never fear anything." Hiram said softly, as he closed his eyes and gently rubbed her hair.

However, Rachel didn't make any sound. She just smiled, raised her head towards her loving, amazing man and gave him a big juicy kiss on the mouth.

For a fraction of a second, Hiram opened his weary eyes and looked deeply in her eyes. Soon, he found that the drowsiness that had captured him gradually, faded away completely and was replaced by his growing sexual desire.

"Hmm."

His lips kissing hers back, made her moan in surprise, as she was just lying there and about to get some sleep.
