29 MYSTERY OF DISAPPEARED TATTOO

The next day Agnes was sitting on the bed facing Jairus. Early morning the sun shone it's face, but Agnes was somewhat disturbed.

She didn't slept last night despite Jairus tried many ways, told her bed time stories, caressed her hair, massaged her belly. But it didn't work well she remain up all night. Upon his questioning she replied him not to worry that she's fine just not sleepy.

But Jairus knew something was wrong. They both were royal blood vampires moreover they're mates. It was easy for them to understand each other's feelings due to that soul bond.

It was weekend and Jairus was at home. Agnes was blankly staring at his face. Don't know when he fell asleep. But tension was visible on his face.

Agnes caressed his hair which were kissing his forehead. She saw the famous billionaire of US who was a playboy sleeping besides his wife.

Jairus became a one woman man. Many girls tried to approach him, lure him. But he kept himself only for Agnes.

Genevieve was gone after that incident. But one day she came back n once again she tried her tactics on Jairus. When he still pushed her, she approached Agnes and threatened her. Then she left. Jairus was sure that she wouldn't & couldn't do anything.

Agnes kissed him on forehead. When he opened his eyes n held her hand.

"Are you okey honey ?"

"Yes I am."

She replied short.

"Okey."

Jairus was still not satisfied. So crept out of the bed in his black jeans and moved towards her side.

Knelt down on the floor & held her hands.

Agnes was just gazing at him with her heart pumping fast.

In red lingerie she was looking gorgeous despite in her sixth month.

Somehow Jairus knew what she was thinking.

"Honey just always remember this I'm your husband n you're my wife. This is my child, our child. Nothing else matters okey."

He places his one hand on her tummy and again uttered making an eye contact with her.

"You aren't in a state to sense HER blood because of pregnancy. But I can & I can sense vampire blood, my blood in HER veins. She is my daughter okey. And I won't leave you or HER. I'll protect you both. So stop thinking anything stupid."

Agnes started crying and Jairus hugged her tight.

"I love you."

Was all she could say.

AGNES POV:

I wasn't able to sleep. It happens sometimes when I over think. The whole story was revealed about a month ago___what Julia did was always flashing in my mind. And I started to wonder if ___if Jairus ever thought that I tricked him into marrying me. The baby isn't born yet how would I prove him my innocence that this child is his, ours.

But he is my man. Don't know how___but he always know what I want or what I'm thinking. Maybe I've underestimated the power of soul bond. Today his words fell into my ears like a sweet music. I was relieved indeed happy that my husband trusts me.

I don't have many friends to trust only a few but they're busy in their lives. Oh yes, Jason was my new friend. He is staying with us n managing house hold till Ruby returns.

While Mr. Michael returned to Australia & looked after the business Jason left there and to confront Julia. As Jason didn't wanted to see his mother Julia again. So no one forced him. Though Mr. Michael told him that he will be his son & will stick to his billionaire status. But Jason needed time alone to figure out everything.

While aunt Remora left the house saying that she's an important pending work to do. She went on a vacation can say that. But I'm missing her, she's sweet as my mum.

JAIRUS POV:

I knew she'd many questions in her little mind. But somehow I knew that my dad's story was bothering her. She used to pity Jason and spend more time with him. I knew what she was thinking. So I found it necessary to clear every stupid thought from her mind.

I knew she was thinking about the baby. As ours story & Julia's was same regarding babies. Agnes was disturbed and terrified that I'd leave her or wouldn't believe her. But she's my silly girl. I can sense my child, the blood in her veins. I can sure say that she's my baby.

I believed her every word. When she told me about her pregnancy. That silly thought she's pregnant with someone else's child. But my vampiric senses were rising in those days so I'd sense the child is no ordinary but a royal blood. And that is only me here in human world other than Agnes. So I preferred to tell her the truth that she's pregnant with my child.

I can't leave her, I trust her and she's my wife. She's mine and the mother of our child. Our relationship is going good & we've a strong bond. This baby brought us together and we faced each other. SHE'S our sunshine.

Jairus went for a swim after breakfast and Agnes took a nap again.

Meanwhile a man came in as the guard informed that 'he's came to check the gas connection which we've complained'. Yes, the gas wasn't coming & Agnes was eating fast food from last day which wasn't healthy for her.

Jason wasn't at home, gone with friends. Jairus was at pool side though in the home but___back yard.

The man went in, checked the connection & left the gas open !

And the man left.

After 20 minutes Agnes came to the kitchen, she smell the gas. But wasn't sure & did a stupid thing to check out.

She lit the matchbox !

And BOOM !

Fire spread everywhere.

Jairus & the guard rushed in. Whole kitchen was burning to ashes due to excessive wood work. Fire___like a dragon !

Past was repeating itself.

Though Jairus became afraid and cried for Agnes. To his horror she replied from the kitchen. She was pregnant so it wasn't possible for her to jump out. The wooden door of the kitchen was burnt down already. Agnes was hiding beneath the marble nook like a terrified child.

Jairus shook his head & without thinking twice courageously he jumped inside. He knew his wounds would heal due to his powers. He saved Agnes and broke the full wall glass window of the kitchen, but a blow of fire touched his whole back as he winced in pain.

And jumped out.

Fire brigade was called. But too late___half of the house was burnt. Ah ! That wood work everywhere.

Agnes was saved and the couple was sitting by the pool side. Jairus' shirt was torn n his back was burnt badly. But he assured Agnes that he'll heal in some time. And narrated the story of his childhood when his father saved him from such a fire which broke out in the house. And Jairus got his back burnt & had to go through a surgery which hid his royal birth tattoo.

Agnes was joyous that her husband was safe & moreover the mystery of missing royal tattoo was solved. He sure was her mate, her knight in shining armour.

Jason came running, worried and hugged his brother and sister-in-law. He started crying and blamed himself for not being there. But the duo calmed him. As it wasn't his mistake.

Mr. Michael called as he saw the news. And adviced the couple to shift to his another house, which was also in this city but in another area. Jairus became suspicious of the man who came earlier. So he checked the camera footage and to his surprise........

Genevieve was peeking through the gate perhaps she didn't knew about the camera & she was the one who brought that man here. She intentionally wanted to kill Agnes. Jairus gave the footage to media. And immediately the action was taken and Genevieve was put behind the bars.

But due to her father's reputation she was taken to mental asylum upon the request of Mr. Thomas Martin.

The couple along with Jason shift to another mansion.

Now the both men became more protective of Agnes.

Aunt Remora called and assured her that she'll be back soon.

Agnes spoke as she ended the call.

"I love you Jairus."

"I love you too Agnes. I swear it won't happen again."

He hugged Agnes and slighty placed a kiss on her forehead.
