A blood stained ring slipped out of soshyan's chest, and the sharp blade approaching his forehead finally solidified in mid air.

The mysterious dark spirit family stared at the ring, then bent down and held it in their hands.

"You --"

It raised its head, looked at soshyan's bloody face and whispered:

"You're back... Are you back?"

The ring was handed down by the soshyan family. According to his father's notes, the mark on it came from their ancestors who fled ulano.

Seeing this scene, he suddenly realized that this existence may be related to his ancient family.

"Alexei, Alexei... Ah, yes, how did I forget that you are their offspring."

"Who the hell are you?"

The spirit family loosened their hands and stood straight again.

"Come with me. I owe you this."

Soshyan struggled to stand up. The wound on his body made his every move accompanied by pain. Although he didn't trust the alien, he still wanted to know what the other party was selling.

Suddenly, the spirit family stopped and looked back at soshyang's waist.

"Close that thing."

Soshyang was stunned for a moment, then tied the book again with a chain, and the song disappeared again.

He followed each other through the hall to a circular space, which was empty and had only one altar.

Something was bound to the altar. When it realized that someone was approaching, the creature tried to raise its head from the altar.

The silver chain jingled as it moved, the symbols on the altar glowed brighter, and the white candles steadily glowed green at the edge of their sight, but they did not disperse the darkness in the room.

The only real light is the cold light from the dark spirit mask and the light from the creatures bound by chains.

Soshyan looked at the thing carefully. Its limbs bent with the growth of joints. There were black feathers and arthropods on its shoulders and back. Sharp teeth and red eyes without eyelids expanded from its face, and its bones were wrapped in amber translucent skin.

In the deformed body, many organs float like jellyfish, and strands of red light form its blood vessels.

The creature struggled for a second and then fell on the altar. It twitched its face and hissed at them.

Soshyan could feel something scratching the edge of his mind, like an insect in a box, trying to be released.

It seems like a demon, but it's different.

"This is not the low-level thing of the so-called devil."

As if he could see through soshyan's thinking, the spirit family issued a deep laughter, and the moisture in his breath turned into ice and crossed through the air filled with spiritual power.

The creature hissed and tried to break free again.

"It's much more advanced."

I said and closed my eyes for a few seconds. I'm really tired.

Then, the spirit family did not know when to cut open their chest, opened it, and took out an amber heart from it.

When he saw it, soshyang's eyes tingled, and a series of inexplicable words formed in his brain, which made him subconsciously step back.

"What is this?"

The spirit clan did not answer. The air was filled with the smell of tomb like decay. He walked towards the creature on the altar.

It retreated, and the iron thorn came out of its flesh. Every eye of it stared at the heart in the hands of the spirit family.

Generally speaking, demons don't feel fear, because they don't feel anything recognized as emotion. They are emotion itself, which is the condensation of hatred, desire and anger. They just want to destroy the world that created them.

So they are not afraid, just as fish will not drown.

But rules and competition run through every line of their existence, which is unbreakable and undeniable.

Because of this nature, some things are unbearable even by themselves.

"After all these years, it's time to end."

The spirit family went to the altar and looked down at the monster. This sentence seemed to be muttering to themselves.

It stood still for a moment, almost like a living thing.

Then he pressed the hearts into the chest of the thing

The creature on the altar struggled upward, screaming, twitching its limbs and stretching its skin.

The iron chain snapped tight, the holy image glittered on the altar, the spirit family spit out a word, the heart immediately penetrated into the creature's trunk, the broken flesh burst out, and the greasy black fog and cry overlapped in the air.

The creature trembled, its flesh was full of blisters, and its prominent blood vessels condensed into black rot.

"Come here."

The spirit family turned and looked at soshyang.

"What are you doing?"

Soshyan looked warily at the altar, which was like an evil ceremony.

"Eat it."

"Ah?"

"I said, eat it."

Soshyan's eyes widened.

"Are you crazy or am I crazy?"

"I didn't tell you to eat with your mouth."

The spirit family said coldly:

"You are badly hurt now. If you don't eat it, you can't go down."

Soshyan walked slowly beside the struggling monster, frowned and stared at it. He could feel the stench of sub space.

"What is it?"

"A fool who once called himself God, put your hand on it."

Soshyan thought for a moment and suddenly thought of something.

"You know grey pulp!"

"Hum, do you often feel inexplicable emptiness?"

"You --"

This is a secret of soshyang. Since the gray marrow spread to his whole body, he often felt inexplicable emptiness. This emptiness is not spiritual boredom or physiological level, but simple nothingness. He even felt that he was just a body.

But he didn't tell anyone about it, just buried his anxiety in his heart.

"I don't care what you call that strange force, but I can only tell you that it is the most hungry existence in reality. If you don't meet it, you will lose control one day."

"Can't control what?"

The spirit family sneered a few times.

"I can't help eating everyone around you."

"This --"

"Well, now put your hands on it."

Soshyan hesitated for a moment and finally slowly pressed his hand on the struggling thing.

At the next moment, silver threads as fine as cobwebs gushed out of his hands and wrapped the existence.

Soon, it stopped struggling, and a new force came into his body. The feeling was very wonderful and almost intoxicated him, but he immediately reminded himself not to be blinded by his senses.

He turned his attention to his body and found that all wounds had healed, and even the terminator armor had been repaired. A new force surged in his blood vessels and made his bones creak.

More than ten seconds later, a sense of satisfaction filled his soul, which made soshyang sigh.

Then the silver threads disappeared, leaving only a pile of smoking black debris on the altar.

"Who the hell are you?"

Soshyan turned around and still wanted to find out what the purpose of the spirit family was, but he found that the other party had disappeared, leaving only a continuous echo in the air.

"Go home, lost son... Remember... Never... Let them escape..."

Suddenly, soshyan felt a whirl of heaven and earth. When he thought he was going to faint again, he found that everything had disappeared, the altar and the room had disappeared. He stood in a collapsed hall surrounded by collapsed colonnades and rotten statues.
