Chapter 18 - Sports Festival- Vs Tenya Iida

After everyone had there lunch and proceeded towards the stadium for the filler events or something like that

Everyone had fun watching that and while students who didn't make into the third round also had fun

Pretty much it was ' Normal' but among class 1A, Momo and Gil's was still part of the discussion

" Now I think about sometimes they did look like a married couple, were Gil tell some things to do and Momo follows the like obedient wife," Jiro said

Soon students assembled for the third round

" So the third round will be, " Midnight said, and soon holographic lottery system opened up and it showed one on one individual matches

" Third round will be one on one individual elimination matches and your opponents are as follows " Midnight announced

Soon match the draw of the third-round came up unexpectedly there were many changes compared to canon and Gil looked out for his opponents and he surprised to see his opponents

And the first opponent is Mr. Discipline Tenya Iida

Soon third round started

And as Canon Midoriya is going first and his opponent was Shinso

Everything followed as canon and Shinso was able to trick Midoriya but Midoriya able to get out of it at the last moment and able throw Shinso out of the ring and won the match

But the moment Midoriya's quirk was activated on it's on he caught the attention of Gil who smiled at it with amus.e.m.e.nt as he found an interesting toy

And soon matches continued and when Denki was defeated by Ibara was Monoma came to mock their class, who later solved by Kendo

" He is so hateful," Jiro said in annoyance

" I want to stab some swords into him," Gil said

" I want to explode him, " Bakugo said

" No stabbing is much better," Gil said with a playful smile

" No freezing him to death would be much better " Todoroki also joined them

Their discussion continued for some time but soon the atmosphere become so creepy everyone asked them to stop

Soon it was time for the match between Gilgamesh and Tenya and both of them arrived at the Right

" So folk here we have the person From Class 1 A who makes sure discipline is maintained at super fast speed TENYA IIDA and here we have a person who had won last two rounds with complete domination like a King, GILGAMESH LIONHEART also from Class 1A" Present Mic introduced students to the crowd

Tenya was as usual with his serious face and Gil has a playful expression

" Ready!" Midnight asked

Both of them nodded

" START!"

Tenya started with Recipro burst right away

" RECIPRO BURST"

He arrived in front of Gil in a fraction of a second with the right leg raised, clearly targeted at Gil's head to knock him out as soon as he can

"Sha Naqba Imuru" Gilgamesh mumbled

And his red eyes suddenly flashed with bright circular rings in his eyes and he moves to his right

A powerful gale of wind was produced by the power behind the kick and missed Gilgamesh by a fraction of an inch

Seeing his attack missed, Tenya then try again with his left leg but Gilgamesh again dodge it barely but effortlessly as if he already what his opponent was up to

The whole audience was baffled by the scene in front of there eyes

" This.." Kirishima said with eyes wide open, he was expecting Gil to crush Tenya with the brute force of his Gate of Babylon

Even Bakugo and Todoroki clenched their fist

This attack and dodge continued for 10 more seconds

Seeing that he was running out of time, Tenya brought down a drop-down kick with all his strength as his last move

But this Gilgamesh didn't dodge instead raised his arm caught Tenya's kick effortlessly and his arm didn't budge an inch and this caused a sound dull yet powerful thud

Soon in the ground beneath Gilgamesh started to form cracks, which started to spread across the floor

The floor beneath Gilgamesh was already sunk a few inches deep

The most surprised one was Tenya as knew the power behind the attack and Black puffs started to come out of his exhaust

" Looks like someone ran out of GAS," Gilgamesh said with a playful smile

Before Tenya could think of the next attack, Gilgamesh slammed him in the flour with the swing of his arm which grabbed the hold of Tenya's leg

This formed a crater in the ground of Tenya's figure

Then he brought Tenya out of the crater and hanged him upside down by his led and soon brought blood started to flow out of Tenya's head

" What a letdown, " Gilgamesh said as he throws Tenya out of the ring with a swing of his arm towards the direction of Medical emergency staff and started to walk out of the ring

" ... T-tenya Iida is out the ring which results in Gilgamesh Lionheart victory" Midnight announced while still hard for her to believe the scene in front of her eyes

" And folks Gilgamesh Lionheart grabs another victory with complete domination" Present Mic announced on the commentary

' Even his strength is.. ' Bakugo thought

'... is nothing to scoff of' Todoroki had some thought as Bakugo

' What I am going to do when my next opponent is..' Midoriya thought and looked at the carefree figure of Gil

In the Principle VIP room

" While he was dodging it was like he knows what will be Tenya's next move, almost like. "Nezu said

" ... like he is seeing the future. I must say Principle Nezu you truly proceed to your reputation. " Angelica commented on Nezu's monologue

" Do you mean? " Nezu asked

" Sha Naqba Imuru, which means He who Saw the Deep, that is the true name of our family bloodline quirk, in this fight, he let loose of its restraint" Angelica

" Loose restraint?" Nezu asked in confusion

" He keeps its power as same as Quirk Clairvoyance and restrains its foresight," Angelica said

" But why? " Nezu asked in concern

" Because it's not only let him see his opponent's next but it also works on the much bigger scale than other foresight quirks as it also allows him to see the different fates of humanity from there prosperity, to their demise," Angelica said while looking at Gil's figure

" I understand and I will keep it a secret " Nezu knowing the consequences of such power

" It isn't that much of a deal since our family never tried to hide, although they never accepted it officially, and also many big and ancient families know about it like Pentdragon family " Angelica let him calm down

Soon other matches followed as usual

In the match between Todoroki and Sero, we're Todoroki froze Sero with humongous iceberg

" This Mongrel clearly overdid this time, " Gil said in annoyance while the ice wall is right at his face

" Like you have any right to say," Bakugo said, who was sitting by Gil's said

" You are the last person to say that, " Gil said with an evil grin

" I am not going to fall your tricks this time," Bakugo said while calming himself down

" So, you do have a brain," Gil said with a disappointed expression

After a few matches, it was Momo's turn

Gil walk toward the waiting room to wish her good luck but when came inside the room he saw the nervous figure of Momo who did not even notice him when he entered the room

Gil frowned when he saw this

" What happened Momo " Gil ask

" Nothing it just I don't know what to do against Tokoyami "

" I know you will surely figure out something and after all, it is just a match," Gil said as sat beside her

" I not just a match! " Momo with an angry expression

" Alright if you want to win it then I tell you his weakn..." Gil said

" Do you think I am weak and without your help, I could do nothing? " Momo said while shaking in anger

"N.." Gil wanted to deny while shaking his head

But Momo interrupted him before he could speak anything

" You always look down on everyone, and you are better than everyone but listen you are arrogant, cruel, and.." As she said this in a fit of anger but at the end, her tears started to fall, and said " .. y-your just too bright for me "

After she said this, she walked out of the room while Gil started at her departing back dumbfounded.
