Chapter 1099: Alex's Growth

Not long after, Sullivan brought Silvia inside.

Silvia first cupped her hand to the Holy God before looking at Alex. "Do you need something from me?"

"I am wondering whether it's possible to meet Navin," Alex asked.

"Navin? That's quite an unusual request." Silvia thought for a moment and nodded. "I think you can. I will contact my father about this, albeit he must be participating in this battle. So, if you want to meet him, either go right now or wait."

Alex turned to Christopher. "The attack will be three days later. Because of their force, we don't need to bring too many soldiers because the snakes are elites. In other words, there will be only one hundred thousand God Rank Experts during this encirclement."

"But won't this be a bit weird for me to not bring my own army?" The Holy God furrowed his eyebrows.

"Not at all." Alex waved his hand nonchalantly. "I have two reasons. First, you are still not a part of the real alliance, so you don't need to bring them. Second, if you feel guilty about it, don't hesitate to move more during the next battle. What do you think?"

The Holy God looked down and muttered a few words.

"Besides, our contract is still a temporary one. I can't afford to risk the entire situation." Alex shook his head in disappointment.

"I understand. In that case, our Holy Kingdom will be the one taking the vanguard in the next battle." The Holy God finally accepted Alex's proposal."

Alex then turned to Lin Xingzhi. "Tell our allies to prepare too."

"Sure." Lin Xingzhi nodded.

"Then, I guess, all that left is the oath." Alex's vision returned to Christopher.

"Of course." Christoper and the others swore their Universe Oath according to the agreement. It was done the same way as to how it did with the God of Destruction.

Alex and his retainers also followed the contract.

After each reached an agreement, Alex and Christopher shook hands.

"Still, to think that I am the one convinced here. My intention of coming here is to ask you to abandon your idea of killing someone, so I can go to your side, preventing this war. But to think you are the winner…" Christopher let out a long sigh. "But there is no regret here. For the safety and the good of this universe, I shall risk my life to fight this enemy."

Alex nodded. "I only have one thing to say. You can't change my way."

"In that case, please stay here for another two days. We shall arrive within a day by using the Teleportation Formation."

Sullivan then brought them back to their rooms while Alex bowed to Silvia. "Thank you."

Alex then turned to Lin Xingzhi. "How is the situation?"

"I have notified them that we are going to launch the attack as soon as possible. We should discuss it with them later. For now, I will just tell you our condition. We have fifty thousand God Rank Experts in our rank while the Palm God and the God of destruction give the same number.

"Blackwade Clan wanted to participate, but they are hidden for the time being. I mean… Blackwade Clan is a merchant clan, not a fighting influence like us. Hence, it's better for them to support from behind instead of going to the front line. I believe we have enough to face them.

The Elemental Gods also shared the same thought.

"How about our opponents?"

"I see. We are going to beat their quantity by quality. God of Destruction is planning to challenge the snake, right?"

"Yes."

"I am more than enough." Lin Xingzhi smiled while shrugging.

"!!!" The Elemental Gods widened their eyes in shock when he saw Alex releasing that array in an instant. However, Agnis didn't share the same sentiment as he tried to protect his body by raising both of his hands to guard this attack.

Just like Agnis having a grudge, Alex also wanted to tease this guy who had been acting like this the whole time.

Once again, Alex broke their expectation when he suddenly clenched his hand as if trying to grasp something.

What even more surprising was the fact that Agnis had his hands blown away from the inside.

"Wha—" Agnis widened his eyes and took the spear with his body.

It blew him away and let him crash to the wall.

The pain started spreading all over his body despite not having a physical injury. The spear pressed his chest a bit too far, but luckily, he was a Rank 2 God, so an attack at this level wouldn't really kill him.

"Do you have any complaints, Agnis?" Alex narrowed his eyes and asked in a cold voice.

"N-no." Agnis coughed a few more times before kneeling on one knee and cupping his hand. "I apologize for my rude remark, Your Majesty."

The Elemental Gods just couldn't believe what happened. To think that Agnis would be in his mercy, it looked badass. Of course, if it were a normal fight, Alex wouldn't stand a chance against him, but it was so different when Alex was in control like this.

"Your Majesty. That style… Is it the Dungeon God?" Helena furrowed her eyebrows.

"Yes."

Helena looked down, falling into deep thought before saying, "I heard the Array God's style was emphasizing in maximizing the number of arrays that could be built at once. The Array God managed to create ten Divine Rank Array at once within five seconds.

"However, the Array God has a different approach. Because he can't have both, the Dungeon God pursued two characteristics: Accuracy and Speed. From what I know, the Array God could summon five Arrays in succession at the same time as the Array God made his ten.

Before she finished her question, Alex stopped her before shaking his head. "No."

"I see." Helena sighed.

"With my Intent, Weapon Qi, Elements, Divine Energy, Elements, I can't afford to add something that requires me a huge amount of Energy or I will be doomed," Alex explained. "Hence, I am going to leave as it is."

Helena nodded and stopped talking.

Alex thought for a moment and looked at Lin Xingzhi. "Sullivan will protect Sherry. Agnis will go with Evelyn while Helena needs to accompany Letizia. Canaan will stay beside Firia while Zerah shall be with Alicia. Rilt and Vina will accompany Anna and Anya since they are your daughters.

"As for Rose, I will leave her to William. Silvia… Hmm, the Palm God has his own battle. The War Goddess might be accompanying her, but I will ask Carissa to help her. I mean, her ability is useful in this battle. As long as she has Carissa, a poison expert, with her, I am sure she can help many people. I will talk with the War Goddess about her protection, but if she were to leave, I will ask the West Guardian, Exegesis."

"We hear and obey." The Elemental Gods cupped their hands politely, receiving the order.

As he said the last message, Alex turned around and left the room with Lin Xingzhi.

Meanwhile, the other Elemental Gods looked at Agnis as Rilt asked. "Why did you let the spear hit your chest, Agnis?"
