Chapter 1097: Holy God

Two years later, the Holy God indeed visited the Eulja.

He was accompanied by ten people, which seemed to be his strongest retainers.

After getting the information from the Ten Commandant about them entering their territory, Lin Xingzhi and the Elemental Gods came out of Eulja to meet them.

"Nature Goddess." The Holy God narrowed his eyes when he saw Lin Xingzhi and the others before lowering his head a bit as a polite greeting. "It's my honor to see the Son of Time God."

Lin Xingzhi shook his head. "We both are God Kings. There is no need for this."

"…" The Rank 2 Gods behind the Holy God felt a bit offended. Not only Lin Xingzhi had postponed this meeting for half a year, but she also had the audacity to act rude to their God King.

At the same time, they had eleven people while Lin Xingzhi only brought the Elemental Gods. She should have brought the Five Guardians as well if she wished to talk big.

However, the Holy God only put on his warmest smile as if this was not a big thing. Instead, he asked politely. "I believe Nature Goddess has understood the reason why we come here, right?"

"Yes. You are here just to bully us, no?" Lin Xingzhi smiled as if it wasn't a big deal.

"I'm not trying to bully you. I just want to ask you to abandon the way of killing. If it were another God King, I would have stayed silent. Unfortunately, the Spirit God's reputation is like thunder reverberating in one's ears. This old man doesn't dare to sleep at night with the current condition."

"You should have known what it means to provoke Eulja. The Array God wanted to enslave the Spirit God's wife, what will people see if we don't do anything?" Lin Xingzhi snorted.

"And you are killing billions of innocent people." The Holy God frowned.

"No. We are saving trillions of people." Lin Xingzhi narrowed her eyes.

"By killing billions?"

"By killing billions! We have warned everyone not to provoke our Eulja unless they want a massacre."

"There are many ways to warn them! Why must you do this?"

"And what? What will we get? Have you learned the history?" Lin Xingzhi snorted. "Our Eulja once spared a person and it cost us almost everything. If the Spirit God were not there, Eulja would have perished. Yet, you have the audacity to tell us something like that?"

"I need to meet your Spirit God. I believe I can convince him. This is still not too late." The Holy God shook his head.

"He is not here. It's useless."

"Father! I mean, his holiness! They have been looking down on us this whole time! I can't accept this." The Saintess suddenly shouted and glared at Lin Xingzhi.

"It's not your turn to speak." Lin Xingzhi looked at the Saintess with killing intent.

"!!!" The Saintess took a step back before trying to pull her sword, only to find her father's hand stopping her from drawing that sword.

Instead of anger, he still showed compassion to everyone. "I apologize for my daughter's carelessness. She is like me but always changes when it concerns me."

"…" Lin Xingzhi closed her eyes and retracted her killing intent. "Well, we can kill you here if you were to start a war."

The Saintess gritted her teeth, but her father's hand made her heart calm down. The Holy God continued. "You indeed have the ability to kill us here, but you must be prepared for the impact it will bring you."

"They are going to come sooner or later. What's wrong with lowering their strength first? No matter their anger, a single God King can basically overturn the entire situation." She smiled.

The Holy God fell silent and sighed. "I truly don't wish to create this war. But with you killing the Array God along with all his citizens, I can't simply ignore it any longer. I only have one demand. Spirit God must promise that he won't kill innocent people anymore and it has to be Universe Oath."

"That's impossible. We are not merciful to our enemies whether they are innocent or not. As long as there is a chain of hatred, we won't be able to live in peace." Lin Xingzhi shook her head. "Unfortunately, as much as I want to kill you here, I can't afford to due to command of the Spirit God."

"Ho?" The Holy God furrowed his eyebrows before looking at the shadow beside Lin Xingzhi.

Sullivan rushed to the scene, alarming everyone there.

"Sullivan?"

"I apologize for the interruption, but I bring the important news for this meeting."

"Alex?" Lin Xingzhi narrowed her eyes.

"Exactly so. His Majesty has finished his business. He is heading straight to Eulja right now."

"!!!" Lin Xingzhi and the Holy God widened their eyes before staring at each other.

"That's how it is." Lin Xingzhi raised her hand nonchalantly and asked. "So, your choice?"

"We shall wait." The Holy God nodded his head without hesitation. "I hope that you don't mind us staying in Eulja."

"Ho? You want to enter the tiger den?"

The Holy God shook his head helplessly. "Our lives here are insignificant. If we die, it's fate. If we live, we will keep doing our best to bring happiness to this universe."

"Unfortunately, that happiness won't last long." Lin Xingzhi shook her head.

"It's because of—" The Holy God suddenly stopped as though he noticed something. Even the Rank 2 Gods behind him was confused.

"Fath—I mean, Your Holiness?" The Saintess called her father while furrowing her eyebrows.

"Hmm. Even our presences together couldn't trouble you, but there seems to be something that can threaten you." The Holy God narrowed his eyes.

Lin Xingzhi took out a Space Ring and threw it to him. "He will come back soon. During your stay, you can check your document. What we want is a negotiation. After knowing it, I wonder what your choice is… That's right. This is the will of the Spirit God."

"…" The Holy God caught the Space Ring and checked what was inside. After knowing it was just a bunch of documents, he nodded his head. "At least, we don't need to fight to solve something. I believe we can reach an agreement."

The Holy God looked confident as if he believed he could change Alex during the conversation.

"Then, follow us." Lin Xingzhi then turned around and said before she disappeared.

The Holy God nodded and followed Lin Xingzhi to Eulja.

As soon as they reached the planet, Lin Xingzhi asked Sullivan to let them stay in the guest room.

However, Sullivan stopped for a while when showing the Holy God's room.

"Do you have something you would like to say?" The Holy God furrowed his eyebrows.

"You are required to learn that information by yourself and forbidden to talk about it with anybody else. This is the highest classified information that we have. I am here to ensure you are doing that," said Sullivan with a calm expression.

"Ho? Is this a coercion?" The Holy God leaked a bit of his Divine Energy.

Sullivan kept his calm and shook his head. "No. After reading all documents, you will understand why you are required to keep it a secret."

The Holy God contemplated for a moment before retracting his Divine Energy. "I understand. It seems that this information will be related to your own concern. Maybe something that can threaten Eulja… Such information is hard to come by, so I guess I should promise you. However, this promise is only effective until I finish my talk with the Spirit God."

"That's fine." Sullivan nodded in agreement. Lin Xingzhi had expected this, so he simply let the Holy God do what he wanted.

"By Heaven and Earth as my witness, I, Christoper, won't say a single thing to anybody until I meet the Spirit God. Is this alright?" Christoper asked with a smile.

Sullivan then politely bowed his head before leaving the room.

He couldn't hold back his curiosity and quickly take out the information.

It turned out that he had underestimated the information that Eulja had. He kept gasping from knowing one thing after another from the documents.

Meanwhile, Alex had been using his Teleportation Array to reach home as quickly as possible. Due to the two tests he completed, his strength increased by leaps and bounds.

During the second test, Alex found something very particular. It turned out that he could use the Space Element to increase the sucking force of one's body, allowing him to cultivate even faster.

At the very least, it meant that Alex's cultivation wouldn't be stuck while completing the test. In fact, Alex had almost reached the next stage, Rank 4 God. He only needed one more year to reach it or that was what he thought.

Still, the biggest advantage he had during this training was his Space Element control. Coupled with the Array Mastery, Alex might be able to challenge a Rank 3 God by himself. It might be hard considering their difference in strength, but it was doable.

After a long three days of Teleportation, Eulja came into his vision as he entered the planet without hesitation.

Lin Xingzhi had been waiting for him right before the castle's gate.

"Alex. You have returned." Lin Xingzhi smiled and noticed the change in Alex. "It seems that you are far stronger than my imagination."

Alex smiled back and nodded. "Yeah. It's really hard. And there are still three more tests that I need to complete. To think it will take this long."

"No, no. I should say that the inheritance should be this long unless you know it's restricted only for you." Lin Xingzhi shook her head. "If I were not wrong, the Array God completed his inheritance after five years. And he received that inheritance when he was already a God King. You should know how hard it is, right?"

Alex acknowledged it before changing the topic. "How is the situation? Just give me a brief explanation."

"I will tell you everything before meeting the Holy God." Lin Xingzhi thought for a moment. "Aria has come to Eulja. Other than Evelyn and Letizia, they all have reached Rank 7 Gods. The Void Flower is ready to be harvested and we have gotten the information about their whereabouts."

"How is the cooperation with the others?"

"The Palm God is ready to move at any moment's notice. God of Destruction has been itching to fight and stationed his force around the area, making sure that no one can leave. The rest will depend on you. If you can invite the Holy God, not only can we gain ground against that side of an alliance, but we can also get a helper in the fight against the beast. I mean, it's not like the alliance that hates us will stop just because the Holy God." Lin Xingzhi shrugged.

"Yeah. Even if the Holy God leaves, they will only take advantage of the opportunity and keep the alliance. Just need to have someone to take over the alliance." Alex nodded in agreement before falling into deep thought. "Where is the meeting?"

"I have notified them. Instead of the throne room, I believe it's better to discuss this in the meeting room instead."

"I will inform them first. You should shower first and change your clothes. You stink." Lin Xingzhi smirked.

Alex scratched the back of his head. "I have been sweating this whole time, so I can't help it. Alright. You entertain them first while I prepare myself."

"Sure." Lin Xingzhi agreed as they went separate ways.

Alex then walked to his room to take a short shower session and wore new clothes. He then walked straight to the meeting room, only to find someone stopping him from entering the room.

"As much as we want to let it pass, I do think that the Spirit God should explain his situation to us, right?" The Saintess calmly smiled, feeling frustrated because his father kept refusing to talk to any of them. In fact, he had been locking himself in the room for the past few days.

Alex's expression darkened. "You're annoying."
