When the next morning came, it caused a commotion not only in this place but also in the entire world. The people from the Light Territory and the Dark Territory got this notification.

Most of the people in this world had yet to understand the real meaning behind the system. Mileda and Xivaxi discussed this all "night" long after the guard who was patrolling noticed that they were not the only ones getting it, so they thought their prince and princess got it too.

During the meeting, Mileda suddenly remembered Alex's promise and wondered why the timing was so perfect.

With that doubt in mind, she made her way toward Alex's room, entering it casually. She saw Alex sitting on the window, looking at the town with a serious expression.

"Sir Nyx," Mileda called his name with her soft voice, so she didn't surprise him or something.

"Yes? Do you need anything from me?" Alex asked. "Or is it the time for us to get going?"

Although Mileda wanted to say yes, she presented another question first. "Have you gotten the blue screen that suddenly appeared in front of you?"

"I have. And it's a peculiar system since it seems I can gain many things just by killing living beings." Alex smiled mysteriously while turning to Mileda.

Her heart skipped a beat as her body started shaking. She thought the worst would happen since Alex might be the strongest in this town.

"I…Please don't kill the citizens. They are innocent people. If you want to kill someone, you can kill me. I know that it's only worth one life, but…" She desperately tried to persuade him, thinking that killing the people would benefit him the most.

Alex waved his hand. "I am not someone like that. It's better to test it on those monsters coming from the thing you mentioned to me."

"Then, what should I do?" Mileda asked. Deep inside her heart, she wanted to follow Alex to butcher those creatures, but she also knew that she was powerless against them at the moment. If she kept asking to come along, she would just trouble Alex. And if they even brought the soldiers and Xivaxi, the burden would just become bigger.

"What? Do you want to follow me? Since I am curious about your Rawak Kingdom, I am planning to go there. Well, I need a guide too." Alex smiled. What he wanted from bringing her was to observe her power.

Alex then took out Eve, summoning her from the Inventory. Eve materialized before him while stretching her body.

Next to her was Xivaxi, standing beside her with concern. He seemed to have a long talk with Mileda before this and unwillingly let her go.

Xivaxi didn't even hesitate to kneel in front of Alex as soon as he saw him. "Please, Sir Nyx. I can't afford to lose another family anymore. She is the only one I have left."

"Brother. You have agreed!" Mileda complained.

Alex saw their good relationship and sighed. "Don't worry. Your sister will be fine as long as she stays with me. I guarantee it."

Xivaxi still hesitated. Although Alex was magical, he couldn't fully trust him yet. He thought for a moment while looking at his sister.

Seeing how she was so adamant about it, he ended up nodding his head. "I will leave my sister in your hand."

Alex nodded before scanning their position with his Spirit Eyes.

Mileda then bowed to him. "Please take care of me."

Alex then started walking to the outside world that was filled with danger from those mysterious worms.

Xivaxi saw them off with a sad look, wishing for his sister's well-being. Even though he wanted his sister to marry Alex and believed in Alex's strength, he had yet to see his real strength and how he beat the worm. That was why he couldn't fully trust Alex yet.

Meanwhile, Alex and Mileda kept walking forward until they couldn't be seen anymore.

"Anyway, I am going to the Rawak Kingdom."

"Yes. Since you are stronger, I apologize for becoming your burden. I know that my speed is not comparable to you."

"How long will it take for you to go there in full speed?" Alex asked.

"Probably around three days."

Mileda's body shook, and she looked at him while pulling out her sword. She constantly checked her surroundings, trying to locate the worm.

"You kill it then." Alex saw her stance and decided to let her kill the worm. As soon as he finished his words, the worm made its appearance, trying to swallow both Alex and Mileda.

"Kh!" Mileda turned right and summoned her Holy Emblem, but it was too late. "I won't make it."

She could avoid this since she was behind Alex, but it seemed that dying with Alex, who she owed too much, wasn't that bad of an idea. At the very least, she could repay him by dying together.

But that insane thought immediately turned into another random thing when Alex made a simple movement to the right and kicked the worm.

"Wha—" She dropped her jaw. Even her father couldn't do something like this, and yet, Alex was so strong that he could hit the worm with his foot instead of the sword.

"Just hit that worm with all you got." Alex pointed at the worm and commanded Mileda to strike the worm as it was flopping on the surface like a fish.

It was too hurt to move for a while, so it couldn't return inside the sand for the time being, giving her a perfect chance to kill it.

Since Alex had created this situation, she immediately calmed herself down, raised her sword, and summoned her emblem again.

Different from the emblem of those people in the Dark Territory, her emblem had two swords and a sandstorm on it.

Next to the pattern was a small circle containing a crescent shape moon symbol.

She swung downwards, releasing a crescent Sword Wave.

The Sword Wave exploded when it hit the worm, leaving a quite deep wound.

Before the worm could rise again, Alex leaped on top of the worm and stomped his right foot to keep it there.

"Once more!"

Hearing his words, she quickly released the same strike to the exact same spot. This was the chance that Alex gave to her. It might not be able to replace revenge, but it was something similar.

"Die!" She waved her sword down. "Crescent Sword."

That deep wound became deeper until it cut through the worm, severing its head.

The worm slowly stopped moving.

"It's dead." Alex nodded after seeing there was no more life energy inside the worm.

There was a notification on her screen, telling.

But she ignored it with wet eyes. She kneeled down on the ground and cried. "Father…Mother…Everyone…I have killed this monster too!"
