Chapter 988 - Prelude

Inside a room in an unknown place, Evelyn gradually opened her eyes.

"Ngh…" She let out a weak groan and found an unfamiliar white ceiling that she knew nothing about. Due to this, she looked left and right, finding that the room was nothing extraordinary. It was just a one-person room without any decoration.

"Where is this?" She muttered in a low voice and noticed that her space ring was taken away. She immediately opened the Inventory and took out a random sword without permission. This was necessary to make sure she had something to protect herself.

Evelyn narrowed her eyes and finally called someone. 'Sister Xingzhi…Where am I?'

'Why would Sister Lin Xingzhi send someone like this to me? I mean, Big Brother Alex himself has a Space Element. Considering the Space Element is actually not that scarce in another world, won't it be more effective to send someone with that power?

'Besides, Sister Lin Xingzhi would teach me everything about Outer Space and other things that I needed to know about this Universe. Shouldn't we keep the time minimal? Or is this a test?

In fact, he had helped the achieve to record the world and its direction to make the compass, so the token should be powerful enough to locate Evelyn.

Evelyn immediately grabbed the token.

'I have it with me now. Can you find anything?'

Evelyn nodded before she sensed a presence coming to the door. She remembered that her Space Ring was confiscated by them, so she instantly dropped the idea of bringing the token with her since it would be suspicious.

Instead, she hid the token under the bed and stored the sword inside the Inventory. And when the door was opened, she immediately waved her hand, trying to strike whoever came since they must be the enemy.

The one who came was none other than the Palm God. He easily grabbed Evelyn's hand and released his Divine Energy.

"I just want to kill my enemy!" Evelyn released her killing intent.

"Do you think a mere Rank 10 God like you can do anything to me?" The Palm God snorted and dragged her. "Follow me!"

Evelyn felt the force behind the hand and couldn't resist. Despite trying to free her hand, the Palm God wouldn't budge at all.

Meanwhile, Lin Xingzhi rose from her seat. The Six Elemental Gods and the Five Guardians were right behind her, reading the conversation.

I believe this should be enough to handle a single spaceship. Anna will take care of Alex in the meantime, while Anya takes care of our battle plan if this leads to war.

"Korzan is to stand by and be ready to lead our force at a moment's notice. Evelyn should be able to take a Teleportation Array Plate with an opening now that she is not inside a room that is isolated inside. We are going to create an opening if he takes her as hostage.

Anna then took a seat again while Korzan disappeared with Anya. Zark then created a Teleportation Array and engulfed everyone in the room except for Anna.
