Chapter 948 - Destroyed Them

Name:Gacha Sovereign Author:Fixten
"Look!" A disciple pointed his finger to the sky above the mountain, finding three people looking down on them.

They were none other than Alex, Aria, and Nella.

"What?!" The enemies exclaimed in surprise simultaneously while Millman called her. "Young Lady!"

Millman realized that the young lady had predicted this and sneaked past them. Because of the traitors, she couldn't say anything as they would plan accordingly. And with how she showed herself, she planned to raise their morale. In other words, she wanted both her and this group to win.

As soon as he noticed this reason, Millman shouted. "This is it! Our young lady already knows about those traitors. If you are truly the proud disciples of the Lazear Family, pick your weapon and show your might. If the enemy is twice of us, each of us simply needs to kill two of them. Let's overturn this situation and offer this victory to the young lady!"

"O-oh!" This time, almost everyone rejoiced as they looked at the enemies with killing intent.

As Millman predicted, Siko and Lazar shouted at the same time. "Airi. Bring all your forces to head to the entrance. Hurry up! We can't enter the inheritance place if she managed to enter first, so you need to stop her!"

"That's right. She can use a Teleportation Array Plate after she finishes, so you need to go."

The 9-Star Martial Saint Airi nodded her head and turned around. "Follow me!"

"Look. Our number is not that much different right now! Let's kill them." Millman knew that the only thing he could do was handle the people here because they would only be stopped again if they tried to breakthrough.

Alex and Aria should be able to buy enough time since they only needed to buy time for a few seconds.

"Kill them!"

The great clash finally began as Nella's figure had disappeared from the sky.

Nella found the entrance and descended to the ground, looking at a cave entrance sealed by an array.

Nella immediately bit her thump and placed it on the seal. "I, Nella Luezar, the daughter of…"

Alex and Aria looked at the horizon where they spotted those people from Khan Family.

After around ten seconds, they landed on the ground.

Airi, who was responsible here, instantly jumped toward Nella, trying to stop the ritual from opening the gate.

"No, you won't!" Airi gritted his teeth, trying to pierce Nella's heart using the spear. This way, she would acquire her blood as well. However, Alex suddenly appeared in her way.

"You are just a 4-Star that has enough luck to defeat a 7-Star Martial Saint. Move!" Airi roared as her spear started glowing.

"Whatever happens, don't turn around and head straight to the cave. We will be fine since we are going to run away after you come in." Alex informed Nella while pulling out his sword. "Triple Draws."

The three simultaneous attacks made their appearance again, trying to cut down Airi.

The first one and the second were heading toward her spear while the other one targeted her head.

She suddenly felt an intense fear as if the death god wanted to bring her and halted her movement. However, Alex's first two strikes already landed on her spear, breaking it. The third strike still continued, but Airi managed to react fast enough to use the handle to block it, albeit she saw it cracking.

"!!!" Instinctively, she leaped back and changed her spear. "Impossible."

"Open!" Nella followed Alex's instruction and managed to open the entrance. She immediately entered the gate, but she remembered that Alex had a low chance of escaping from them, so she threw a Teleportation Array Plate at him. "Use this. If it's not possible to come back here when I finish, then head straight to my family because I will be using another Teleportation Array Plate to go there."

Alex was surprised by her thoughtful nature and grabbed the Array Plate, but before he was able to thank her, the gate already closed, leaving no chance for Airi to catch up.

"You are not going away!" Realizing that she had failed, Airi wouldn't leave these two alive since Nella deemed them important enough to give them a precious Teleportation Array Plate.

Instead of running away, Alex smiled and struck her new spear with his power alone, blowing her away right back at her group.

"What?!" She widened her eyes. Even though she had known Alex was strong from the first blow, she never expected a 4-Star Martial Saint could blow her away like this.

Alex made sure that Nella had gone inside and smiled. "Since she can't see us now, it's time to kill these people."

"Are you sure? We will be questioned, you know." Aria furrowed her eyebrows.

"If she didn't give this Teleportation Array, we would be in that situation. Fortunately, she gave this to us. We can simply say that we use the Teleportation Array to teleport not far from here and use the traps I have set up to kill these people. It cost me a big amount of money, so we can ask for more compensation." Alex grinned, planning to suck this Luzear Family dry.

"Ehm…Why do I feel that you are a bad guy right now?" Aria twitched her eyebrows before shaking her head. "Well, I know that you are planning to use some of it to increase my strength, so I don't have the right to complain. Since you have decided, there is only one thing to do."

"Do you two think you can defeat us? Know your position, brats!" Airi shouted while pointing her spear toward them.

Alex smiled and released a portion of his seal. His cultivation rose from 4-Star to 9-Star Martial Saint, shocking Airi once again. "Know my position? No, you are the one who needs to know your position."

Suddenly, a dragon from Spiritual Energy appeared, hovering above his head.

'I will leave her safety to you, Eve.' Alex asked Eve to protect Aria.

'I understand, Master. It's not my forte, but against these people, it won't be a problem,' replied Eve while controlling her dragon body to go around Aria.

"Fight to your heart content. The sooner we finish this, the sooner I can burn their body and create a mess somewhere to make our excuse believable." Alex commanded.

Aria nodded and looked at the enemies.

"I will make you regret for underestimating us!" Airi raised her spear. "Attack them. We have the number advantage."

Alex looked at them and poured more Spiritual Energy than usual before stepping his right foot forward. "Spirit Step, Second Step."

The immeasurable pressure fell upon them as some of them suddenly dropped down to the difference of their cultivation.

Aria saw this and covered her body with lightning.

"Spirit Step, Sixth Dance. Lightning Rabbit!"

She ran with a larger step to make maneuvers easier as her sword began cutting those who fell down as if a rabbit were jumping from one person to another. Those who felt this pressure were unable to react to this movement, so they just watched their comrades fall one by one.

Airi saw this and tried to stop her, but the dragon suddenly breathed out fire, stopping her advance. The intense heat immediately permeated the battlefield, forcing her to leap back just to avoid it. When she looked at her hand, she was surprised to see there was a small black spot on her skin.

As she was about to blow out, Alex appeared next to her with a smile. "I am your opponent."

"!!!" Airi raised her spear as Alex slashed his sword right at her neck.

Suddenly, his blade expanded, almost slicing her throat. Due to her good reflex, she managed to throw herself to the side just to avoid this attack.

Alex didn't stop and attacked the fallen her before those who were beside Airi tried to stop Alex.

Looking at their movements, Alex stopped his attack and slashed these four people first as they were only 3-Star Martial Saints.

Airi used her hand to launch herself into the air before landing a few meters from Alex as she never saw someone like him.

Not wanting to waste a single second, Alex already predicted where she landed and unleashed a Sword Attack.

"One Sword Kill, Blade of Extinction."

Unlike his usual light red Sword Wave, this one was in blood-red color. However, one could still feel the heat coming from it.

This Sword Wave had been dyed in Eve's color as she infused the Bloodl.u.s.t and Killing Intent in the Sword to strengthen the Sword Wave.

Alex was astonished for a moment before looking at Airi, who had no way to escape other than breaking this attack.

Unfortunately to her, the strength of this Sword Wave was far stronger than anything she could imagine. In fact, the force behind it was close to Divine Ability. When it hit her spear, everything was cut cleanly, including her, who was behind the spear before the Sword Wave disappeared according to Alex's will.

He just didn't want to let Millman and the others saw this attack, lest they would become even more suspicious.

"Impossible." Airi let out her last word before falling to the ground.

Alex looked at her for a second before killing the rest with Aria.

After five minutes, they had finished their jobs.

Seeing this entire mess, he used his Pure Fire to burn all their corpses and evaporate their blood so as to not leave any clues. As for some craters here and there, he left it alone, showing that Alex and Aria fought them bravely just so Nella had enough time to go inside before escaping in Millman's perspective.

Well, if Nella were the one seeing this, she would think Alex and Aria needed to fight the enemies first before they had a chance to escape. Either way, both reasons were good enough. With Alex showing that he killed a 7-Star Martial Saint, close to 8-Star, Millman and Nella would believe if he could kill Airi with the help of traps.

After that, he checked Aria's condition that seemed to have used half of her strength.

Considering the enemies' strength, it was to be expected. Alex only asked. "How do you feel right now?"

"I am good. Because of your help, I am in better shape while killing twenty people with higher levels than me. This is indeed a good training since I can understand their attack patterns, especially when I start getting conscious of how their weapons worked." She nodded with a smile, ignoring her fatigue.

"That's good then. I will check the situation once more. You can go in this direction, and I will catch up later." Alex pointed toward the east.

"I understand." She agreed and immediately flew away, knowing there wouldn't be any more enemies in that way.
