Alex gritted his teeth, and when the Sword God slowly got the upper hand. He tried to try a few things and refined his movement even further during this battle, so he could match up with the Sword God's movements.

Knowing that, Alex raised his sword and spear before moving forward.

"Hell Lion."

The same lion flew out of his sword, making its way toward Alex.

"Swallowing Heaven." Alex countered it again with his two dragons to bite the wolf from the two sides.

However, the Sword God actually leaped toward its back and stood on top of the wolf, riding it toward Alex. When he saw the two dragons coming, he waved his sword back and forth a few times. "Double Blade."

The energy that was released by the sword knocked the two dragons away.

Alex slashed his sword horizontally, aiming at the lion's head and the Sword God himself that was luckily aligned at the moment.

"One Sword Kill, Blade of Extinction."

The Sword God suddenly used his feet to lift his body a bit to the air as he jumped off the tiger.

The tiger died because of this attack, but the Sword God actually made a surprising move.

Alex instinctively dodged to the side despite seeing the Sword God's figure.

"Purgatory Sword."

This Sword Wave was horizontal and bigger than the previous ones. It ran through the ground and slashed the fox and the giant fireball into two.

"That's not enough." Alex snapped his finger as he prepared a backup plan. An array appeared out of thin air as it summoned five swords that immediately flew toward the Sword God.

"Five Executioner Array."

The five swords then fused together and created a more powerful attack that was capable of surpassing his Mythical Fire Slash, albeit barely.

"It's still not enough." The Sword God snorted and cut it down with his Absolute Sword. However, it wasn't Alex's true aim. He suddenly placed his hand on the ground as two arrays suddenly appeared, one beneath the Sword God while the other one was on top of him.

From the bottom array, around a thousand swords emerged from within before flying toward the top array. When it struck the array, it then produced a few more arrays, stacking on top of it.

"Sword Prison Array."

The arrays then produced an immeasurable pressure that even made the Sword God fall on his knees.

Alex then used this chance to send his Blade of Extinction again toward the Sword God.

Noticing that he would die if he didn't solve this array soon, he closed his eyes for a second before opening it wide. His eyes were glowing at this moment as incomparable Sword Intent and Sword Qi flowed out, causing a small disturbance.

It was like a Space Disturbance but more complicated because the Sword God cut every single element in that single moment.

This disturbance was enough to break the array and set him free. He then rose from the ground and waved his sword.

"Hell Lion."

Alex widened his eyes when he saw this technique again. It was far stronger than the same technique he used a few times previously. When he tracked the reason, it turned out to be his eyes. The energy that flowed out of his eyes was infused into the Hell Lion, strengthening it.

Because of this, the tiger managed to clash with his Blade of Extinction. It wasn't an easy clash as the Sword Wave pushed the tiger back.

Alex saw this movement and decided to jump forward. He believed that the tiger would break his attack apart, so he planned to make a follow-up attack.

The moment the tiger ripped it to shred, Alex was already right behind the Sword Wave as he thrust his spear toward the weakened tiger.

"Twin Fusion Spear.' Alex planned to use this spear to hit the tiger and had his Pure Fire attack him from behind as his Spear kept moving forward to pierce him. This way, he would have two directions attack.

But to his surprise, the Sword God was fast enough to recall his tiger, making Alex hit nothing. At the same time, his attack wouldn't be activated because he never hit anything.

"You lose…" The Sword God smirked as he took another step back. It was the same move he used to create a small distance to launch his Purgatory Sword. "This attack of yours is indeed powerful. "!!!" The Sword God widened his eyes in surprise. He realized that it might only last for an instant, but that attack had certainly reached that boundary. "Ha!"

"Four Purities Slash." With the addition of this technique that created energy from the sword itself, Alex managed to combine and create the four purities that his sword needed to level up once more.
