"It's fine." Alex waved his hand. "You must be tired, I think you should rest first. You must have a huge debate earlier…"

"Debate, huh. Certainly." She nodded. "Before that, I need to tell you a few things. First of all, my father won't investigate you or instigate someone to fight you. In other words, you shall be exempted from everything and the elders who make a move against you will be punished accordingly.

"Secondly, I have received permission from my father to let you stay in my courtyard. He was convinced earlier because there were not many rooms in this place, but I somehow succeeded in persuading him. Your room is beside mine. I will show the way later.

"Third thing is about the Grayfig Family. You don't need to worry because my father is going to handle everything inside this family. I will explain everything to you tomorrow, including the Sword Qi. Unfortunately, you can't go to our library to search for our techniques since you are not one of us.

"Last but not least, my father wants me to tell you that no sexual activity is allowed here."

"…" Alex fell silent for a few seconds before asking. "The fourth point is the same as the second point…"

She shrugged. "That's my father."

"Whatever." Alex nodded without any change of expression as if telling her that he didn't have any intention of doing that.

She nodded. "Then, follow me."

Alex rose from the floor and followed her through a wooden floor, going across a building before finding a small pavilion there.

As she said, the room was pretty small as it perfectly fit for only one person. But to his surprise, he found the room to be bigger than he thought. The design helped this small house look big on the inside.

"Your room is this way." She went through another door on the opposite side of this house as they found another small house like this behind it. "I usually used that house for training, since right behind this house was the training field that had been strengthened. If we are going to fight or something, it will be good to hold it there."

Alex nodded as they entered the second small house.

"I will be getting my clothes first from here." She went toward the bedroom and stored all her clothes inside her space ring before letting Alex in.

He twitched his eyebrows when he found a pink room. Despite her nonchalant attitude, it seemed she was more feminine than he imagined.

"I am sorry for the display, but I guess you can use this room to rest." She stretched her hand, asking Alex to come in before looking away embarrassedly.

Alex scanned the room first before entering. He never had any problem with such an environment as long as the room was usable.

"Sure. Just make sure that you don't give my identity away while in this state." He shrugged.

"Don't worry about that. You are the only one who will know it… Wait, this sounds wrong. Never mind, my mind is too tired to correct it. Anyway, see you tomorrow, Nyx." She waved her hand and left the house.

At the same time, Alex looked at her with a complicated expression. He had nothing to say about her attitude and such, but he knew something they didn't. He knew how desperate a human could be when they realized their ending was near.

The moment he saw this, he looked at her house and let out a long sigh.

Alex shook his head and settled down everything needed here. After a few more hours, the moon finally rose to the sky, enveloping the world with darkness.

'Haiz, this is going to be a long night… Literally.' Alex thought. Not only the night was supposed to last for at least sixteen hours, but he also needed to handle a certain thing that would come tonight.

He then checked the situation, including Aria with his Spirit Eyes before sitting on the rooftop while closing his eyes to wait.

And as he expected, ten people came to this place. All of them were Martial Saints ranging from 1-Star to 4-Star.

That's right. The only thing that Aria and this family forgot was the chance that these people decided to kill Aria instead of going back. Even if they were going to purge them from the beginning, they would have realized the fact that these people might have a person in high level as their backing.

And it turned out Alex was right. Whoever actually informed them must be aware of the whole situation as he/she might be higher than Adrian in terms of status.

"It seems this guy is very dangerous…" Alex furrowed his eyebrows and thought about the second young master of the Grayfig Family.

He rose and looked at these ten people. "To think all of you have been this desperate… No, since there is no strong person in your rank, it seems the higher-ups in your operation have decided to sacrifice you to settle this disturbance.

"There is a guy!" One of them pointed at Alex as he was surprised to see someone protecting Aria.

"But there should be no one protecting her right now because all of them are going to blockade the mansion instead of protecting someone."

"But the proof is right before us…"

"Don't falter. He is only a 1-Star Martial Saint."

Alex smiled as he snapped his finger, summoning a Sound Insulation Array.

He didn't want any outside forces to come in while he killed all these guys.

"It seems you want to die…" Alex sighed before taking out his sword. 'It has been a long time since the last time I could only use my sword.'

"So, who is going to die?!" Alex smiled.

"Two of you stop him. We are killing that b*tch Aria." The 4-Star Martial Saint ordered.

Two 1-Star Martial Saints nodded as they flew toward Alex. They waved their weapons, trying to occupy Alex's attention before the group could move in to kill Aria.

Little did they know that the weapon in his hand was a Divine Weapon. With their strength, they couldn't get a rank 8 weapon and stuck with rank 7. Alex's Divine Weapon could destroy rank 8 in a few rounds, so this kind of weapon was like a paper for him.

His sword started emanating his Intent as he waved his sword horizontally.

"Die!" The two shouted.

"No, you." Alex shrugged and struck the first guy with his sword. To everyone's surprise, Alex cut through the sword before killing the first guy, and his sword made his way toward the second person, killing him in the same way.

And just like that, the two people fell in battle without even a trace of fighting.

"!!!"

"What just happened?"

The guys drew a gasp as they couldn't believe two people died without even being able to stop one strike from a 1-Star Martial Saint.

Alex smiled as he recalled the reason why he asked Njomo to hide inside Aria's Shadow. There were three reasons exactly. The first reason was sure because he couldn't trust her completely yet. It was normal because he just knew her a few days ago.

The second reason was to spy on her, especially when she reported everything to her father. Alex certainly realized that there would be an attack from the information alone, but he didn't investigate any further because it wasn't his obligation. Besides, Aria reminded him to not participate in this.

Thirdly, it was for her protection. After getting everyone leveled up to Rank 10 God, he used his remaining EXP Cards to help all N squad reach Rank 10 God. Even though his prowess was low, he was still a Divine Beast that should have no problem in killing Martial Saints.

Alex only utilized the second reason this time and sighed. "Whatever, she is useful to me, so I will protect her in the meantime."

The group gritted their teeth and decided to attack Alex together. They sent eight attacks simultaneously and from all directions to confuse Alex.

"Oi, oi. You are going to wake up the little girl in the house…" Alex commented while raising his sword. "Break."

His sword slashed every single attack that came at him while using his Intent to suppress the power, so they didn't explode. However, it seemed Aria would wake up from something like this due to the fluctuation of Spiritual Energy that the eight attacks brought.

Alex didn't play anymore and started his killing spree, cutting them in one or two moves. It was a massacre as they couldn't even touch Alex with their strength.

Bang!

The door was slammed open as she finally came out using her pajamas as she looked around, only to find corpses on the ground.

She then used her Spiritual Energy to scan the area and found Alex standing above her house, so she immediately flew to him.

"You—" She had a complicated expression as she faced Alex, who seemed to have killed ten people in less than thirty seconds. "How did you know?"

"Let's just say that I excel in information gathering." Alex smiled mysteriously. "I don't want to handle this matter, so you are the one who needs to clean this up. And I will give you this one clue. The majority asked to strengthen the security for the outside threat, right? But there were a few that suggested that at the start. Don't you think it's weird to strengthen their defense for outside threats first before dealing with their internal matters?"

As Alex said this, he smiled and returned to his house. "You are smart, but the enemies have penetrated deeper than you can imagine to the point they could even fool you. Just like that guy who wanted to rape you said, you didn't realize the fact that you were dancing on someone's palm this whole time… Not exactly like what he said, but I am sure you know what I mean. Anyway, good luck. I will be protecting you during our agreement, so you could rest assured."

"You…" Aria was speechless. She wanted to say something to him, but the condition didn't allow her to do so. He checked all the corpses by touching them and realized that all of them died without being able to use all their power.

In other words, this fight was Alex's complete victory.

When she found 2-Star Martial Saints', 3-Star, or even 4-Star Martial Saints' corpses, she was stupefied.

Alex's strength was far more extraordinary than she imagined. In fact, he might be hiding his real cultivation, and it might be at her father's level. However, she knew that her father wasn't capable of doing this. It was at this time, she furrowed her eyebrows. "God Rank Expert?"

"Should I bury them here to avoid any problems or ask Father to send people to settle everything here?" Aria thought for a moment and remembered what Alex said. "There might be an elder acting as a spy for Grayfig Family. There are a few suspects… As expected, I should bring this matter to father alone at this point of time, so everyone will be surprised the next day, and we can investigate which one is the traitor."

Having a decision in her heart, she bowed toward Alex's house as if conveying her gratitude. She then gathered all the corpses and went toward her father's room.

Alex looked at her actions through the windows and smiled. "At least, she can learn quickly and make a decisive decision. Take this experience in your heart, girl. I am sure you will only get stronger from this point on, I guarantee it."
