The group immediately raised their vision, finding three people far from them. One of them was the elder that was trying to grab his sister. It seemed she had returned with reinforcement this time.

The three of them glared at Alex and Lin Xingzhi.

"She will become the disciple of my Snow and Ice Palace! No one can snatch her!" The elder exclaimed while releasing her killing intent.

"If I were you, I wouldn't release such a killing intent, you know," Alex said with an uninterested expression as if he thought nothing of them.

"What did you say?! You dare to lecture me?!" The elder gritted her teeth.

However, another one stopped her from going berserk as she said, "We just want the Extreme Ice Body. I don't know who you are, but our Snow and Ice Palace is far stronger than you can imagine. And we have the ability to content her physique as well."

"Well, I already made a deal with the kid, so I am going to fix her physique." Alex shrugged as he walked toward Xue Ning. "Yo, little girl. What do you think about the trade earlier? Your brother wants to save you, you know."

Xue Ning flinched and glanced at her brother.

'Xue Lang… I think it's better to trust the guy here. From what I have seen, this guy is even stronger than my peak strength. These three people won't be able to do anything to your sister.' The soul warned him again.

The elders fell silent for two seconds before they started shouting again. And that silence was all it took for Xue Lang to realize it was true.

"You are simply harming my sister!" Xue Lang roared to the three elders.

"Do you even realize you are the one harming your sister?!" The elder didn't want to lose and began rebuking him.

"That's right. Your sister will die as soon as the strength that is suppressing her ice disappears. The ice will kill her from the inside."

Xue Lang gritted his teeth, unable to deny their claims. In the end, he realized that he wanted to keep his sister by his side while trying to search for a way to save her. Unfortunately, that was harming her in the process.

If what the elders said were true, the best option would be to send her to Snow and Ice Palace.

A red fox made of fire appeared from Alex's feet as it grew to thirty meters height while melting the attack.

"Only Martial Monarchs but dare to raise your hand against me?" Alex narrowed his eyes before asking Lin Xingzhi. "Should I kill them?"

She thought for a moment and shook her head. "It's fine. It's not like there is a strong one in this world, and I don't think there is a Divine World close enough to this place. And…"

She pointed at her face, telling Alex that they had a mask for this. No one would realize they did it. Even if they tried to attack him again, they wouldn't know his face.

"I see." Alex nodded and snapped her finger.

The fox then raised its paw and struck them, blowing them away. After that, he recalled both the fox and the sun as if he just finished dealing with them.

Still, the shocking thing that happened for Lin Xingzhi was the fact that Alex was playing with three Space Rings in his hand.

"Those three rings are…"

"Yep. Their space rings." Alex grinned.

"Ah, you are extending the punishment. Though, I don't think that is necessary." Lin Xingzhi shook her head. "I mean, it's alright to punish them, but this is not the way. Taking another look at them, they are stark naked and without their Space Rings. I am sure they won't have any clothes with them right now. With their strength, what will they do?"

"Ah!" Alex finally realized the meaning of his actions and sighed. "Should I return it to them?"

Lin Xingzhi thought for a moment. "It's fine. You don't need to. But I want you to realize this first. I know that you are thinking about the consequences, but you are not used to thinking about cause and effect. Hence, I will let this be the thing that will remind you about it."

Alex closed his eyes for a few seconds and nodded. "I understand."

"Yeah." Alex then turned around again, facing the girl and placing his head on her head.

He inserted his Pure Fire inside Xue Ning's body, dissolving the sword power. While doing so, he glanced at the soul that just materialized.

She clasped her hand politely and bowed. "I am sorry for showing my meager skill in front of an expert."

"It's fine. You are trying to destroy the attack in my stead even with your weakened strength." Alex waved his hand, telling her that it wasn't a big deal.

He realized that both the soul and Xue Lang had a sword as their Martial Spirits. A Martial Spirit was a kind of their heart's personification. It functioned like the skill that was being cultivated in Phantasm Sect. It came from their heart and would stay with them to the end. In other words, it was the source of their strength.

While they were in the midst of talking, the elder just couldn't look at Alex. Her eyes were glued to what happened to their surroundings. The ground was melting and cooled down, the grasses were torched, but the flame immediately disappeared when Alex retracted his technique, and many more.
