886 Sword and Spear Possession

"You damn right!" The beast smirked as he looked at Alex's expression.

"You have done a great number on us, so I will be the one to stop you on behalf of the others who sacrificed their lives to create this opportunity."

"Heh… They are just a mere sacrifice."

"Your action and your words don't match. If you thought of them as a mere sacrifice, you wouldn't kill them. You simply knew that you wouldn't be able to win unless you eliminated them first. Your power might be above the God King stage, but it is simply one rank above it. You wouldn't be able to win against ten of us, so you used Earth to cause this commotion to eliminate them."

"And do you think I care?"

"Of course. For someone like you who wander around like this, this galaxy is just one of your targets of conquest to prove your might. It is simply a petty reason to start all of this. After all, I am sure you have an inferiority complex, and many think of you as trash. You only started slaughtering millions just to say that you are the strongest here, not in that place." Alex smiled as if he had seen through the beast.

"As expected, you are aware there is another place that is far more powerful than this galaxy. I will give you once in a lifetime proposal. Serve me, and I shall spare everyone in this galaxy. When you reach my place, we can cooperate to get stronger. A place like this doesn't suit you."

"Don't joke around. My strength doesn't come from this. They are the embodiment of how much I want to protect my family. I have no intention in following you just to get stronger." Alex shook his head and raised both weapons.

"I can't comprehend. You have a weak mindset. We get stronger to prove our might, not to protect. Only when we are the strongest we can protect someone!" The beast roared.

"I and you won't be able to meet each other's eyes. We have a different opinion, so I am not going to say anything to your ideal… Still, I am the strongest here, so I will protect them." Alex leaped toward the beast with his weapons.

The beast also did the same. They clashed and passed each other, releasing another shockwave that shook their battle.

On the other hand, both Alex and the beast had a graze on their right cheek.

The beast raised his hand and summoned three elements. The metal formed a huge spear, the wind covered the spear's head, and the fire boosted it from behind.

"Spear Ultima."

This three elements spear flew toward Alex.

Alex watched how the Spiritual Energy in their surrounding got distorted due to this spear.

"This…" Alex took a deep breath and channeled his Divine Energy into the diagram behind him. The white and black color on the diagram shone as the white light covered his sword and the black light wrapped the spear's blade.

The cross sword wave, black and white, flew toward the spear, hitting right in the middle.

This immediately caused the worlds around them to get blown away as well, leaving their orbit.

Seeing that the energy was exactly the same, Alex and the beast disappeared at the same time.

The beast waved his claw while Alex swiped with his sword, albeit Alex got blown away again.

"That one is an amazing technique, but if I keep you close like this, you won't be able to use it." The beast seemed to recognize Alex's technique and classified it as dangerous.

"Hmph!" Alex snorted and thrust his spear at his throat.

The beast kept blowing him away, but Alex didn't care about it and kept throwing himself against the beast.

This kind of exchange continued for half an hour as neither of them actually managed to injure each other.

"It is useless. My stamina is better than yours!" The beast laughed.

Alex gritted his teeth as a red aura appeared on his sword while a green aura covered his spear.

"Twin Element Slash! Scarlet Green Version!"

The beast covered his paws with metal while using the black and white creatures to gnaw this sword strike. However, Alex's strength was stronger than this, immediately shattering the two creatures.

Alex found this and turned around while waving his sword because this might be the last chance he could ever have an opportunity like this.

And yet, the beast seemed to know about it as well as he already made a preparation beforehand. The fire and wind fused and struck Alex with a tornado, forcing him to block it with his weapons.

The momentum pushed Alex back for a few hundred meters before he stabilized his body and raised his spear.

This time, all the colors, including the middle circle, shone. The middle circle identity was none other than his Elementless attribute.

It appeared on top of his spear before summoning the other six elements. This attribute merged the six elements by letting the six elements enter its body. Maybe because it was one without an element, it could host any elements it wanted.

However, it was bound to have a clash inside it, especially with six elements living together there. Alex then thrust his spear as the six elements burst out together.

"Hexagram Fusion. Burst!"

"What?!" The beast widened his eyes and created the same three elements spear to hit Alex's attack.

The clash was brief as the winner immediately decided as Alex's six elements pierced through the spear.

The beast gritted his teeth and raised his hands to block this attack with his hands.

*Boom!*

An explosion occurred, but Alex soon found out that the beast had been blown away a few hundred meters as well.

"You bastard…" The beast gritted his teeth. "To think you can combine your six elements! You need to die!"

"You as well… Your element control is better than mine. If I don't have my Divine Intent, I won't be able to control these elements at all." Alex let out a long sigh. "To think you use your fire element at the last minute to blast you away to avoid the impact."

The beast and Alex had the same serious expression. Alex tried to rile up his opponent, so he would make an opportunity for him to attack, but the beast also realized his strategy and didn't buy his trash talk.

"I will see if you can keep doing it." The beast smirked and charged at him. "After all, that attack's consumption must be high!"

He raised both hands to the front and created a circle with his two paws. Six lights gathered in the middle of the circle, creating an immeasurable pressure.

"This is not over…" Alex panted before he released his Divine Intent to the maximum. "This is not the right time to lose my life! I have sworn that I will protect them."

"You won't be able to…" The beast mocked him, looking at his last struggle.

The people around them had been driven away, so they wouldn't become Alex's weakness. Even Lin Xingzhi, Anna, and Anya were forced to return to Eulja because they were not even Rank 3 God at this point in time. He was pretty rough for it, but he didn't mind.

His sword and spear also turned into the same black and red color as if they became a cursed weapon.

His hair started turning black. His white eyes turned black as well, while his black eyes became red. His energy surged as he roared. "You two have been trying to take over my body, but everything will become a mess if I die here. How about making a deal with me?"

If Lin Xingzhi were here, she would instantly recognize this transformation. The ones that he was talking to were none other than the consciousness of his sword and spear. The ones that kept making him go crazy.

However, for the first time in his life, the two seemed to respond to his feelings, abandoning the clash between them during his journey.

"We need to kill him first! No matter which forms we end up in the future, none of us will erase each other's existence until we are both recovered perfectly. We, who have been fighting each other, should know that neither of us will break this promise!"

The two consciousness responded to his feeling as a symbol of a sword appeared under his right eye while a symbol of a spear formed under his left eye.

The black and red energy covered him before the shock wave coming from the power-up blew it away, revealing Alex's current appearance.

He looked at the beast and pointed his sword while saying, "I have made you wait. It's time for round two!"

The beast smirked as if his instinct were asking him to fight this man with all his ability. His smile became even bigger to the point it was a bit creepy instead as he said, "Marvelous!"
