882 Inside the Black Hole

"Are you serious?" Alex looked at the giant black hole, eyes wide open. The special trace to locate the encore was telling him that it was inside this black hole.

He came a bit closer before suddenly feeling the sucking force. He was still far from the black hole, but it seemed the pulling force was really great like how he learned it on Earth.

"What should I do?" Alex looked left and right, searching for a White Hole. "According to what I understand, I can return through a White Hole, but I don't see one near me. Well, considering the power in these two holes is too great, I doubt they will be so close. Still, I can't really go beyond this point without any preparation, can't I?"

When Alex thought about this, the system suddenly solved the issue.

[I can send you the compass to Eulja, so you don't need to worry, Host.]

"Ah, the compass huh…" Alex pondered for a moment. "The compass will continuously be pointing toward the one that had the mark, right? What if I am too far?"

[The compass is using the energy to link up with the energy around and connecting them according to the direction, so there should be no issue.]

"I see."

[Still, to think Encore is beyond this place. No wonder no one can find it.]

"I agree. By the way, are you searching for it too?"

[I do investigate and follow the information about it, but I am not actively searching for it. After all, I have been specifically instructed not to do that because it will just be a waste of time.]

"I see." Alex nodded and looked at the black hole again. "I am still not very sure about it. Even if I can return, I still don't know what I will do if I meet any extraterrestrial on another side."

[We will head there immediately if you are in danger. Zark is standing by right now because we are not able to accompany you due to a certain promise.]

Alex let out a long sigh while gathering his resolve. "The only way is to go there, I guess."

After a few minutes, Alex came closer as the pulling force started getting stronger and stronger. When he reached a few light-years away from it, he realized that he needed to exert a bit of his power if he wanted to get away from this.

However, he had a mission on the other side, so he didn't resist and got sucked into the black hole.

Looking at this pitch-black hole that even light couldn't enter, Alex simply stared at it, mesmerized by its beauty. It might be creepy, but no one from Earth could actually see a black hole from up close, let alone entering it. Hence, he stepped forward and entered.

Before entering the black hole, two notifications popped out.

[Judging from the course and other things, I am sure they will be going toward Eulja and Blackwade Clan. If you meet them again somewhere, just make sure you act as you don't know them and absolutely don't use your sword and spear at the same time. Have a nice day.]

"Eh, what?!" Alex shouted, but the sound couldn't travel in outer space. If not for the spaceship's barrier, the two couldn't talk at all. And when Alex talked with Lin Xingzhi and other people in outer space, mostly it was due to the thought transmission or the barrier.

And with this sudden bomb dropped right above him, Alex entered the black hole, unable to force himself out again.

An overbearing pressure suddenly hit him as Alex's eyes became sharp. However, he couldn't see anything in this pitch-black hole as his body kept drifting somewhere.

Alex activated his Spirit Eyes and found out that this was a tunnel of energy. He could see many branches around the tunnel as if they were leading to somewhere.

This was the first time he experienced something like this, but what made him confused was the fact that he couldn't see the end of this tunnel. In fact, the branches around him were asking him to enter them.

"Hmm?!" Alex furrowed his eyebrows, wondering where all these branches would lead him, but the feeling in his mind told him that it was not yet to leave this black hole.

He restrained his curiosity and kept observing what happened inside the black hole.

The pressure started getting stronger as stronger, and the branches started to appear one by one. The pain started spreading all over his body, but he kept waiting.

Five minutes passed, and Alex still couldn't find where he wanted to go. His hands had gone numb due to the pressure.

"This black hole is insane. One time is not a problem, but the pressure will keep increasing over time. I don't know why, but this is seriously going to be bad if I don't go out soon." Alex wondered if he should take a break for a while before going inside again. Still, he couldn't just rest and enter again since a white hole would be accompanying him instead of a black hole.

"I need to endure I guess."

Alex could only sigh and kept enduring the pressure coming to him.

"System, do you know when I can go out?" Alex asked but found no response.

He furrowed his eyebrows, wondering if the system couldn't hear his thoughts. But suddenly, a white light flashed on the corner of his eyes. It was like the branch from earlier, but it was something special to Alex.

It took him two hours of enduring this pressure, so he immediately used his Divine Energy and tried to reach it.

The force inside the black hole kept pushing him away, but he could get closer and closer as time passed.

"Reach it!" Alex gritted his teeth and touched the white hole. Suddenly, the sucking force turned into a repelling force as it pulled him out of the black hole and threw him away as fast as possible.

"!!!" The pressure was no joke. Although there was no air, so there was no air friction that stopped him. Still, flying at this speed generated a bit of pressure, and there was this big asteroid floating in front of him.

"Are you kidding me?" Alex gritted his teeth and took out his sword. The asteroid was quite big, around a hundred kilometers in diameter. He slashed forward, using his strongest move to slice it into two while trying to stop his momentum with his Divine Energy.

"Three Purities Slash!"

The slash distorted space and released fire by using Divine Energy as a fuel. The Divine Intent softened the asteroid as the sword strike cut it into two.

Alex then punctured his sword on the asteroid surface and tried to stop his momentum. However, the asteroid was actually coming with him due to the no friction.

He gritted his teeth and took back his sword before finding a planet was actually on his way.

"Are you serious? There is a freaking planet in front of me!" Alex shouted in distress. This was his first time using a black hole and got launched by the white hole, so he needed time to think about his whole situation and grew accustomed to this.

And finally, an idea arose in his mind as if a ray of hope illuminating the dark world. He opened a Spatial Gate that would teleport him to a different location. If he did this a few times, he would have enough time to stop himself by using his Divine Energy.

Alex tried this for five minutes until he finally stopped.

"Seriously? How fast did I fly earlier? Because of the pulling force, I was going at who knew how fast. I couldn't see at all inside there. And due to the repelling force from the white hole, my speed increased again. That was the source of my pain, I guess…" Alex sighed, realizing that he couldn't feel the pain anymore.

He then started looking at the area and sensed the direction of the encore.

It took him a moment to sense the direction again. But before he continued, he decided to call his system first. "System… Can you hear me?"

No response.

"Is this part of the agreement?" He asked again but to no avail.

"I can't get through?" Alex gulped down. He was here in a place that he knew nothing about, alone without help.

"Should I call the spirits?" Alex murmured before shaking his head. "No. I should go first and call them later if I find a problem that I can't solve with my strength alone."

He let out a long sigh before following the direction in his head. It was quite a journey, but he didn't really mind.

Teleportation after Teleportation Array was used, and Alex felt he was getting closer. However, he had used it more than ten thousand times, so he decided to take a rest on one of the planets nearby.

He made sure that no one was living there before resting. In fact, he couldn't sense any living beings around here.

Even so, he still needed to keep going.

After around a day, he pushed himself again toward a single direction, hoping he would meet the encore as soon as possible.

Luckily, his efforts didn't go to waste as he finally arrived after a long one and a half days journey.

There was a white planet, completely white as if it was made of calcium or silver. On the surface, he found a single giant building on it, so he decided to go there because his sense was telling him that was it.

He used his Teleportation Array to appear on the planet's surface and looked at the giant building in front of him.

The building looked like a ziggurat with several layers from bottom to top. There were also four towers in each corner as if it was protecting the building.

Alex went around the building and found staircases that led to the inside, so he approached it while looking at the surrounding with his Spirit Eyes, assuring his safety.

And when he was right before the stairs, he halted his steps, hesitating once more.

"Come in." A voice suddenly echoed from the inside as a figure appeared before him. The figure was a man with golden hair. His facial expression and body figure were very familiar. After all, he was…
