Alex lowered his head and kissed her forehead as the latter seemed to have woken up because of this action.

"Hmm…" Alicia slowly opened and looked at Alex with a smile. "Good morning."

"Good morning." Alex smiled back while stroking her hair.

"Are you going to practice right now?"

"Well, that's my plan since the time is a bit tight with the current program." Alex scratched his head embarrassedly. As much as he wanted to have a few more days of quality time with Alicia, he needed to set his priority right.

"I know that you are going to finish this faster because you want all of us to reunite." Alicia gently put her hand on the bed to push her body up. "Let's go then. I will keep up with your training."

Seeing her determined face, Alex finally walked out of his bed, following her from behind as they both put on their clothes before going to a table.

Just like how the legend described the black tortoise, this array created a hard shell to protect himself while having the chance to summon a chain to bind their enemy as if it was a snake.

He couldn't practice so many arrays at once, so he was satisfied with this one because he didn't need to practice a binding array. Alicia could also understand why Alex was so adamant on this array.

"Have you been holding back because of us?"

"What do you mean?" Alex tilted his head in confusion. A weird feeling suddenly rose in his heart, making him uncomfortable.

"I mean… You have met many people in your life, especially beauties. Take a look at Evelyn, Rose, Song Yu, Putri… But none of them managed to move your heart despite the fact that they had moved many hearts, intentional or unintentional."

Alex was stunned by her question. He didn't know where this question came from, but it certainly shook him to the core.
