842 A Naive Child

Name:Gacha Sovereign Author:Fixten
A young girl wearing a cute white blouse and blue mini skirt walked cheerfully toward a golden-haired man. The man was sitting in a lotus pose, closing his eyes. She waited for him to finish without making a sound.

"You are not going to say anything?" The man gradually opened his eyes, looking at this young lady.

"I don't want to disturb you, Sir Alex. Besides, I only want to inform you that I have finished my practice."

"Hmm… It's faster than I expected. Good job." Alex nodded.

Alex brought Mithra to the west before finding a good mountain to train. Within these seven days, Mithra could reach the Tempering Body last stage, which was awesome. Alex took months to reach this stage after all.

Of course, she could become this strong because Alex forced her to take a medicinal bath to raise the speed of her training. At the same time, he made her run around the mountain, so she knew how to move her muscle. The uneven ground forced her to understand the balance of her body and refined her muscle naturally.

About her constitution, especially the will of this world attached to her soul, Alex erased it with his Pure Fire. He could even remove the will in Alicia's and Firia's families, but they told him they didn't want their families to ascend. Not only would it destabilize the kingdom, but they also didn't want to see their families in danger.

It was enough for them as long as they could visit them once in a while, knowing they were safe.

However, Mithra was different. Although he didn't plan to bring her with him, he only removed the will because it would hinder her qi later on.

He looked at Mithra's body that soon started producing qi. Alex wondered how much he could power up her ability within these three months. If he took out the Spirit Stone, she would reach Martial Master without a doubt, but he didn't plan to use it on her.

That was why he decided to let her the power of the peak of this world. She would stop cultivating later anyway and enjoy the world, so he would give her the power to have a slow life. It wasn't a big deal.

"That's right. What is your status?"

Name: Mithra

Job: Commoner

Rank: 1

Level: 131

STR: 399

AGI: 379

VIT: 355

DEX: 412

INT: 121

Mithra let him look without hesitation.

Since the power system was kind to his world, Alex knew that she was going to have a breakthrough soon.

He stared at her for a few seconds and said, "Since you have almost reached Qi Gathering Stage, it's time for us to go to that phoenix nest. How about we do one last test? If you can descend this mountain within three minutes, I will give you a present."

"Really?!" Mithra's eyes blinked, feeling fire up. "But Sir Alex, I want to let you see this first."

"Hmm?"

*Bang!*

The tree burst as if something exploded inside.

"Hehe… I can do this too!" Mithra grinned.

Alex had no change of expression, knowing that the girl had been practicing on top of his own training menu, so he wasn't surprised by the fact that she managed to destroy that tree. However, the girl was a bit too simple. Alex pointed his finger upward, asking her to look up.

"Wawa!" The girl was surprised to see that the tree was actually falling on her and ready to attack it again.

Alex decided to do it first and flicked the air, creating a weird pressure that destroyed the tree along with the ground and everything behind it, creating a new trail on the mountain.

"What?! What is that?" The girl opened her mouth in surprise. Although she knew Alex was strong, she certainly felt something wrong with the move earlier.

Alex didn't use any energy or whatsoever. He created a shockwave just by his strength alone, and it could create an effect as ridiculous as that, she wondered how many years she needed to catch up with Alex.

"Can I have that as my present?" Mithra's eyes brightened.

"No." Alex shrugged. "Your body is not strong enough."

Mithra pouted. "Well, since this is coming from Sir Alex, I am sure that the present is very big. I am going to give it my all."

"Alright. Your three minutes start now!"

The moment she heard the signal from Alex, she ran as fast as possible. She had been running around this mountain for about a week, so she had gotten familiar with the terrain. Running this fast was nothing to be proud of.

However, there was a steep cliff as her biggest obstacle. If she went around, she might be able to barely make it, but Mithra exceeded his expectation by jumping off the cliff.

The reason she dared to do this was due to a few trees around this cliff that she could use as a stepping, allowing her to descend the cliff as quickly as possible. After that, she went around the wood, treating the trees as an obstacle course. She avoided everything like how she did in training and kept running toward the bottom of the mountain.

The moment she arrived, she found Alex was sitting on the ground as if he had been waiting for her this whole time.

"Master… When did you actually come down?"

"Just now. It only took me a single step anyway." Alex smirked, teasing Mithra.

"I…" When she was about to say anything, she noticed a loud sound coming from outside the forest and looked at Alex with a worried expression. "Sir Alex…"

"As you expect, there is a battle right outside the forest. And I am looking at it now." Alex glanced to the left, finding a luxurious carriage fighting a horde of goblins. "Ah, how nostalgic. The first time I went out of a forest, I met my wife fighting the orcs, precisely like this."

"Eh?" Mithra widened her eyes. "Are you going to save them then?"

"Not really. Judging from the direction, they are most likely going toward the kingdom. Their objective must be to meet those four heroes. Well, I met her two months after leaving the castle, so the timing was slightly earlier than I expected." Alex then looked at her. "I will let you choose whether to save them or not."

Mithra looked down, pondering the matter. From what she knew, Alex never wanted to become a hero that saved people just because they got into trouble. However, she was a bit different since she was just a humble commoner. Her parents often helped people before they died, so she nodded. "I want to save them."

"Then you can save them if you want. I am not going to do anything."

"Me?"

"Yeah. You have hunted many monsters during the training in the mountain, so it's time for you to put that training into practice." Alex nodded before taking out a red sword. This was a Rank 1 Sword that might be a bit over the top for this world, but nonetheless, it was one of the weakest swords he had with him.

Mithra was a bit surprised and took the sword from Alex's hand carefully.

"This is your gift." Alex smiled and patted her head. He wondered what kind of people were the ones in the carriage and the knights surrounding it. He also made sure that the sword was flashy that people could take fancy off in a single glance.

If they actually thought about getting it, it would be a perfect occasion for Mithra to work on her mental fortitude, so she didn't try to help people blindly. After all, Mithra would still think a bit lowly of herself due to her humble personality.

Mithra was moved by Alex's generosity and nodded her head to Alex. "I will be helping them."

"Yeah. Be careful." Alex smiled before lifting his finger once. He controlled the Spiritual Energy around Mithra to restrict her movement a little bit. She must be thinking that it was because she hadn't gotten accustomed to the sword that she moved a bit differently.

She would be injured because of this, but the knights and whoever inside the carriage would realize it was the best time to get the sword. Mithra would also be too exhausted to even wield her sword after fighting that many goblins.

"Ha!" She finally made her appearance in the battle, starting to cut the goblins one by one. "I will help!"

The scenario was like how Alex had experienced. Mithra had an important position in taking down the monsters. They fought for about thirty minutes, and as expected, Mithra was worn out. Her hand was a bit numb at this point.

It turned out that the one coming from the carriage was a male with long blue hair. His appearance was handsome, and his movement was elegant. He finally turned to Mithra and thanked her.

"Thank you very much for your help."

Mithra gently smiled. "It's fine. I just came out of the forest before finding this situation, so I thought it would be nice if I help."

"Haha… I apologize that I can't really fight due to my weak constitution." The guy smiled. "I am envious of you. I really want to have a strong body too."

"I am sure you can."

"Really? I can't even swing a sword, you know…" The guy weakly smiled, grabbing a sword before letting it fall down. "Aiya, I really don't have the strength."

"Your sword looks like it's heavier than you… How can you even lift it?"

"It's because I have been training!"

"Really… Can I try to hold your sword too? I might fall together with the sword this time."

"No way. This sword is lighter than you think."

"Really? Can I try it?"

"Sure." Mithra gently handed her sword, trying to support the gentleman in front of her as to not let both him and the sword fall.

At this point, Alex already facepalmed while shaking his head. Handing your weapon? That is the last thing you want to do with a stranger. Such a naive child, he thought.

"Oh!" The guy managed to hold it even though his hand was shaking. "I can truly hold it. I wonder what kind of training you have? Even in my family, no one let me hold a sword. That's right. You must have an extraordinary job!"

"No-no. I was just a commoner working as a normal maid not too long ago. I am sure you can." Mithra smiled from ear to ear, trying to encourage him.

"I see… You were a maid before…" The man nodded and took another glance at her condition. Her body was covered with wounds, and her body was covered with sweat. Judging from the looks alone, he could understand that Mithra had exhausted a huge portion of her strength.

Meanwhile, Mithra didn't think much about her body condition because Alex would be able to heal her just like when they were training. At the same time, the knights had been helping her fight the goblins, so they thought it would be fine to lend the sword for a while.

Suddenly, the knight captain, the one that was a bit stronger than her, slowly walked behind her before hitting the back of her head as hard as possible.

*Bang!*

"What just happ—" Mithra was in shock as her consciousness suddenly became fuzzy. Red-colored blood suddenly flowed down her head, reaching her eyes and dying her vision. She fell on her stomach.

"Prince… Are you sure about this?" The captain asked.

"She is just a maid, and her strength is too low. She must be a normal maid that got lucky when she became an adventurer. It was an honor to protect this prince earlier and gave this treasured sword. Looking at the quality of this sword, it can be classified as a National Treasure."

"No… That is my sword…" Mithra stretched her hand, trying to shake his right foot.

Alex facepalmed and shook his head as he muttered.

"Oh boy. Here it comes."
