Chapter 662 - Two Matters

"Alex!" Anya was the first one to spot him.

Alex didn't directly teleport to Heavenly Continent. Instead, he just teleported to the Rune Stone located inside the base. Firia was confused about why they would use the Teleportation Array just to go here, and Alex said he forgot. She wanted to laugh, but couldn't as she also forgot.

In the end, the two teleported using the Rune Stone, directly sending them to Heavenly Continent with single teleportation.

"Anya. How is everyone, and where are we?" Alex turned around and looked at Anya. He was slightly surprised to see Anya here.

"Everyone is fine. They are killing monsters nearby. As for our place, we are not far from the coast. A very dangerous coast because there is a high possibility for sea monsters to come. In fact, we have encountered two monster hordes… not that we mind. We can raise our level in this way." Anya nodded. 

Alex crossed his arms and looked at his surroundings. It seemed they were inside a building or something, judging by the rectangle-shaped room and structured bricks. "What is this room? No, we should be inside a building, but I can't sense anyone." 

"Our specific location is inside an abandoned village. Due to the strong monsters roaming around and monster hordes from the sea, no one actually lives here anymore. We then use this building as our base. At the same time, I want to ask you to create a special realm for this house alone just to hide this house." Anya explained.

"I see." Alex nodded. "Then should I assemble everyone, or we can discuss the plan among the three of us?"

"I will only recall Anna back here while the others can continue their jobs." Anya nodded, took out Anna's card, and summoned her. 

Anna appeared right in front of him and their eyes intertwined. She looked left and right first before smiling awkwardly to Alex. Yet, the latter patted her head and smiled gently before hugging her. "I miss you, Anna."

"Uhm… Yes." Anna took a deep breath to ignore the awkwardness and hugged him back.

"Master, I also want to hear the plan. It's study time for me." Sherry suddenly came out of his body, raised her hand, and grinned.

"Sure. Stina and Kyle will follow us as well. You two are free to give any input later." Alex said as two lights came out of his body, turning into two people. 

"We understand, Master."

"Then, we should talk in a more comfortable place." Anya clapped her hand to take their attention before bringing them to another room.

Unlike the previous room, this new room had a lot of furniture, albeit mostly chairs and tables. Anya must want to use this as a meeting room.

He looked at the big round table in the middle of the room and sat on one of the chairs. "I have many things that I wish to ask, but I want to know everyone's situation first."

"I have compiled all the information about this continent. Firia should have brought it to you." Anna said while glancing at Firia.

Alex nodded. "I have read them. However, it's mostly either Ancient Blue Family or Fire God Clan. How about the other influences?"

"They didn't make a major movement that needs to be concerned. Blackwade Clan continued their investigation on you to check whether your card is real or fake. Drunken Pavilion announced Evelyn as their successor to the world, bringing her to everyone's attention. However, there is nothing major about this announcement as they are trying to figure her out first.

"Snow White Mountain doesn't have much to do. They are preparing something recently, but we haven't found anything… Everything should be clear within a year since many Martial Saints are guarding it, so the N squad couldn't really infiltrate the place. Of course, there are many arrays that protect it as well. In any case, we can ignore them for the time being.

"We don't really have any connection with the Divine Kingdom and Phantasm Sect; I suggest leaving them alone for now." Anya finished her report."

"How about their power level? I need to be careful since these two can change our plan." Alex asked.

"Divine Kingdom has one 10-Star, two 9-Star, and two 8-Star Martial Saints. They are the strongest of their peers because they are the closest one to this coast. Despite having too many people die, the Divine Kingdom can quickly increase its strength due to these monsters. They can kill monsters and use the money to buy pills. That's why this Kingdom is the biggest customer for the Blackwade Clan.

"On the other hand, we don't really have much information about Phantasm Sect. The only thing that stands out from them is their Martial Saints. Anna finally took her job again and explained everything to him.

However, you might need to enter there in the end.

"On the other hand, you can also meet Evelyn in this place since she has become the Drunken Pavilion's successor. And we can show them that we, Spirit Nest, exist." Anna explained the benefit.

"By the way, where will the banquet be held?" Firia broke her silence.

"Then we can simply ask Evelyn or that successor guy… what is his name again?"

"Song Jiaoren." 

"Yeah, this one. I'm sure he is curious about the Supreme VIP Card, so he will surely give me one. This is just give and take." Alex narrowed his eyes.

"Sure. We can have one of the N Squad to show the VIP Card and retrieve the invitation for you."

"Thank you. I want an official one because I don't wish to enter by simply saying I'm invited." Alex paused for a moment and sighed. "At that time, I feel like someone will call out to me and mock me before I slap their face…"

Anna and Anya shook their heads and laughed. The contracted beasts couldn't understand what he meant though.

"Anyway, get the invitation so I can enter legally." Alex shrugged. "And move to the second matter."

"Now, onto the second matter, the mysterious place." Anna took a deep breath. "After searching around this place and killing two hordes, we have found a very mysterious place, specifically a mysterious underwater cave. The entrance is on the land, but most of the body is inside the water. We have sent Nelson and Jean to investigate, but they have yet to come back.

"Many Martial Saints monsters reside in this cave and sometimes come out to roam on the land. We are cleaning up the nearby area until Nelson finishes investigating the cave. We have no clue what kind of place is this…"

Alex pondered for a moment and asked. "How long have these two been investigating the area?"

"One month. They should have finished the task pretty soon."

"I can afford to wait that long." Alex nodded. "Though I can simply teleport us back to the surface in case anything happens."

"That can be our solution later. Jean is with us anyway." 

Alex nodded. Jean was a Water Spirit, so controlling water should be no problem for him. Suddenly, Anna took out Nelson's card and asked. "What happened? Have you finished the investigation? Alex is with me right now."

Anna didn't say anything more and simply summoned Jean and Nelson.

Nelson greeted Alex before asking. "May I proceed with my report, Young Master?"

"Sure."

"The Underwater Cave is full of treasures. I assume the monsters have been pillaging the area and storing them inside the cave. They already have intelligence anyway, so this is very possible. I don't know how many treasures are buried in this cave, but it should be able to empty one pocket. If I am not wrong, they might even take the belongings of humans that come here.

"It has a very complicated inside. Even with Jean, I still have trouble finding all the passages. "We found a kingdom… A living one. Although it was covered with Illusion Array, Jean managed to sniff it out." Nelson answered. "It should be a living one."

"Still, the water pressure there was insane. If the barrier wasn't there, the humans might only be able to stay there for a couple of hours." Jean added.

"Are you confident they are humans?" Alex narrowed his eyes.

"I'm pretty sure." Jean nodded. "I felt the same aura as your array, Young Master. I believed it was a Special Realm. Only then could they survive."

"This is… intriguing. Underwater Kingdom? Is this another world Atlantis? Wait, I have seen one in Stina's home."

"Unfortunately, it's deeper than the one we encountered previously." Jean paused for a moment. "Far far deeper. Young Master might be able to find another passage, but this is my best ability. I'm sorry."

"It's fine. This is very valuable information. No one knows about this Underwater Kingdom… Considering there is no record about it and none of the N squad find it." Alex crossed his arms. "I will try to see what happens inside this cave. But we should clear the cave first and get as many treasures as we want." 

"Understood." Nelson and Jean bowed. "We will lead you the way."

"It seems we need to summon everyone." Anna smiled. 

"We will see whether my Pure Fire can withstand the water." Alex smiled, excited.
