626 Lightning Tribulation Part 4

*Boom!*

The explosion occurred and enveloped Alex. Even Nelson might be engulfed if he didn't retreat a bit further. However, a bit of unrest crept inside his heart because Alex wouldn't have this much trouble with the Lightning Tribulation. 

He had accompanied Alex and learned basic information from his memory. Nelson could absolutely say Alex was already beyond Martial Emperor. If he combined everything he had, including his Pure Fire, Alex might be able to fight against 3-Star Martial Monarch with only 10-Star Martial Emperor strength.

Yet, the Lightning Tribulation suddenly became something beyond his imagination and struck at his confidence in Alex. "Young Master… After this will be the tenth wave, the Golden Lightning Tribulation. But does he succeed in passing the trial?"

The explosion was such a close match as the lightning almost got absorbed by the Lightning Rod Array. Unfortunately, it exploded first. Seeing the dark clouds were still there, Nelson couldn't say if Alex won or not.

He took a deep breath while praying for his good fortune. "Master should have another way in dealing with the tenth wave…"

Nelson became unsure of his own statement. Alex had fought with everything he got until this point. Remembering how huge the jump from the ninth wave to the tenth wave, he couldn't say Alex had a high percent in succeeding this Lightning Tribulation. At most, he would say about twenty percent.

It was that high because Alex kept creating miracles as he used his strength beyond his imagination. Nelson hoped that Alex would do it again at this moment and passed the tribulation.

The wind swept away the smoke from the explosion, revealing Alex covered with fire. That fire suddenly rose to the sky before turning into a phoenix and let out a cry.

Alex panted as he stared at his Lightning Rod Array that had been pulverized by the Lightning. In the last second, he managed to activate his Phoenix Aura and covered himself with his Pure Fire. He decided to strike the Lightning with his bare fists. Of course, after covering it with his Domain.

It successfully broke the lightning, and his Lightning Rod Array absorbed the remaining Lightning before exploding. 

He checked his Spiritual Energy and could say he had been exhausted by the first nine waves. Yet, he needed to destroy the last and the strongest one, the Golden Lightning Tribulation.

A great doubt flashed in his mind. "Can I do it?"

"I have used every single Martial Art, but none can deal with the last one… I have even used all those techniques simultaneously to barely destroy the ninth wave… Do I have another thing that I can use?" Alex asked himself as he gritted his teeth, looking at the golden flash behind the dark clouds.

"System, do you have any solution for this?" Alex asked.

Even after a few seconds, there was no single answer from the system. Lin Xingzhi could only grit her teeth while watching through the screen. She also couldn't think a single way to counter this Lightning Tribulation. Remembering the Previous Alex, there might not be a Golden Lightning Tribulation if he failed this one. He needed to use everything to pass this final test, but even with those, he still fell short. 

He began recalling every person he encountered from the very first world, Agar World. "Alicia, Firia, Teacher, Master, Elder Mithra, Zwaka, Stina, Six Race Leaders, Lin Xingzhi…"

He kept muttering each big name that might be able to turn the table around, but not even a single answer was found. Alex began falling into despair, wondering what he could do at the moment. 

As he continued to recall every name, he stumbled on a single name. "Igor…"

Alex recalled everything about the Sword Path at this moment like he found a hint to his answer. He still needed to search for an answer after that hint, and he needed to think about it in this kind of situation.

No, there might be no other way unless he answered this question.

"What is my Sword Path? The one that is only unique to me." This question kept repeating inside his mind until his Pure Fire that had been hovering around him appeared in the corner of his vision.

"Pure Fire?" These two words jolted his mind and shook his body. "I… I was born with Pure Fire inside me before I encountered the system and learned that I could use Space Element. As for my Sword and Spear ability… The answer was already there a long time ago… A few thousand years ago to be exact from my previous life."

He suddenly grasped something, but couldn't put it into words. He tried to decipher what he got as quickly as possible as a dragon head gradually appeared from inside the cloud. 

"According to Igor, I need to go to the basics once again. The basics of my Sword and Spear Art arrived from my fighting style and Pure Fire Element… not Space Element." Alex was convinced it was the answer he sought. The only problem was how he could get the real answer of his own Sword Path.

Looking at the Lightning Dragon Head in the sky suddenly enlightened him. "Lightning?"

"I have barely destroyed the Lighting Sword earlier because I don't have another powerful attack. I already have the potential of stronger attack, and that is my Mythical Spear Cannon." Alex opened his mouth in surprise. 

"I can use every single Martial Art with both weapons this whole time, including the two original skills. I can use Triple Draws with both hands and use my Mythical Spear Cannon with both versions… However, I can't use my Mythical Cannon with Triple Draws? Why is that? I have never had this problem before… Do I lack something?"

When the question presented himself, Alex suddenly looked up *Gasp!*

"I said it myself earlier that my basics were Sword, Spear, and Fire. The only thing I missed this whole time was my Fire. My Pure Fire was always covering them. Even if I used my Soul to fuse it, I always used the Sword and Spear separately with my power.

"The only reason I couldn't use… No, I never thought about fusing both of them… I might be able to use them in both weapons, but the thought about fusing both Sword and Spear Art never flashed in my mind… If I could fuse them both and created a stronger attack…" Alex gulped down as he thought such a crazy thing at this life and death moment.

The answer to his question was obvious after all of these thoughts.

The Golden Dragon finally let out a sound after charging its energy inside the cloud for two minutes.

In front of this roar, Alex's heart was beating rapidly as he couldn't help but smile, facing this dragon. This was his one and only chance. He had an image in his mind, but whether he could produce the same thing or not would determine his success.

He took a deep breath as he looked at the dragon that began flying down. He narrowed his eyes and took a deep breath. 

"To think I will combine my two Original Skills and my Pure Fire in this situation…" Alex undoubtedly gambled his future at this moment. If he failed in creating the same attack, like the one in his mind, he might not be able to get the Golden Lightning Tribulation again. However, he would become the biggest winner if he won this gamble. "Haha… Gacha itself is a gamble. I have been gambling from the start of my journey, I shall gamble this one also… Sys- Lin Xingzhi, wish me luck."

Alex didn't call the system this time, but the real person behind his Gacha System. Lin Xingzhi's expression turned serious as she clenched her fists, hoping the best for him.

He clenched his sword and spear as his flame covered both of them. "The Fire God itself said that Pure Fire is an Absolute Fire. No poison or curse would stand in front of my fire. Alex finally finalized his answer as the flame in his sword grew even further.

The energy for his Mythical Spear Cannon already went to the tip of his weapons, ready to destroy this lightning. However, Alex actually used his Triple Draws first. If this were a normal him, Alex would surely fail in this move alone because the Mythical Spear Cannon would break.

Yet, there was something different from the previous one. His Mythical Spear Cannon already started shooting, creating a balloon-like flame on the tips of the blade. However, the two blades were in the move because of his Triple Draws. The flame that was in his two blades suddenly formed into a crescent because of the swing with continuous input from his Mythical Spear Canon and finally formed six crescent blades that looked like his Fire Sword Waves.

"…And with this fire, I can win against anything, and that is including my own attack." Alex used his fire to be a cover for his attack and combined the three moves into one single move. 

"Go, Mythical Fire Slash!" This name was derived from 'Mythical' Spear Cannon, Pure Fire, and His Sword Slash. All of them were representing his three foundations of his fighting style. "With this… I shall become a Sword Saint, and my Sword Path is Absolute Blade Path."

Alex used this name because he named his intent Twin Blade Path, but with the addition of his fire, it could only go with the Absolute Blade Path.

The new six Mythical Fire Slashes flew toward the dragon. The shock wave shook the earth and blew a powerful wind to Alex and Nelson, who was with them.

Nelson jumped to the edge of the barrier before creating a small barrier for him. He suddenly knelt on one knee as tears began to form on the corner of his eyes. "This is it… His Majesty will surely be born anew! The God that is feared by many worlds will finally shake the entire universe once again."

Lin Xingzhi closed her eyes and leaned on her chair. She let out a long sigh as the memories about Previous Alex slowly crumbled in her mind. "You are you, and he is him now… It's already clear in your path alone that you are different… Goodbye, Alex."

This incident broke the last barrier in her heart. The memory of the previous Alex that plagued her from making the next move had finally gone.

On the other hand, Alex was still in trouble as he covered his body with Phoenix Aura to protect him from this shock wave. He looked at his Mythical Fire Slashes and became completely speechless. This attack alone might be able to be compared to Leoz's Fire God Cannon. However, it was when Leoz was a 5-Star Martial Monarch.

In other words, if Alex became the same level, even his strongest attack, the one with the full chants, wouldn't be able to win against this attack.

The clash between the slashes and the dragon lasted for one minute before his attack managed to cleave this dragon into pieces and made its way toward the cloud. 

Luckily, the Special Realm itself was a cylinder barrier with the ground as its base and the sky as its limit. The barrier didn't break with this attack, and Alex officially finished his Lightning Tribulation.

*Pant!* *Pant!*

As expected, this was the first time he used such a technique, so he didn't have enough control to make the power input sufficient. He fell on his butt before he turned to Nelson. "I have finished my jobs… You can do the rest."

"Yes, Young Master. Leave it to me." 

Alex nodded and regained his breathing, starting his cultivation while letting the Golden Lightning do its wonder.
