467 Spirit Step

Alex boarded the ship nonchalantly. It seemed that to get the ticket on the ship, they needed to have the pass first.

The ship and the crews were forced to make sure no one was able to sneak inside the ship without a pass. Not long before they set off, a few Nagas came to the ship to ensure all of them had a pass.

The Nagas were half fish and half snake. However, Alex could see a few Nagas had human, elf, or any other races for the top. He thought they must be half breed, albeit he could not imagine how they reproduced though.

Luckily, they were not really that arrogant or something. They were humble and polite while asking for his pass. After Alex showed him the pass, they nodded and left to check the other passengers.

The princess was coming to his room a few times, but Alex stopped her in front of his door. He talked with her in front of the door until she left.

His room was the same as the princess's room. Both of them were the highest class room on this ship and it was spacious. That was why to end his boredom, he practiced his Spirit Step. This whole time, he did not know why, but he could not master even the first step. It was like he was missing something.

Every time he stepped in, he did not get any strength boost even though he had done it according to the manual.

Alex did not know what she meant, but he nodded his head.

He then started his training again to make sure he had mastered the Spirit Step completely, albeit only the first step as the second step required him to reach Martial Emperor.

It took him a whole month to arrive on another continent. Alex could feel that his fire was tingling. He recalled the man with dragon and phoenix wings on his back. He thought it might be related to it, so he shook that feeling from his heart. He recalled Anya to the card and came out of his room.

Shelka immediately appeared in front of his room the moment they arrived to welcome him.

"Good Morning, sir Supreme. We have arrived on the continent where the phoenixes live, Phoenix Nest. Please follow me. I will guide you outside."
