427 Martial Kings

At the same time, in the arena, Alex spirits such as Anna, Leoz, and the others had met their respective opponents.

Jeanne was getting it easy since she only needed to take care of three 1-Star or 2-Star Martial Kings since Alex had got two of them. And with her prowess as a 6-Star Martial King as well as True Spirit Body, it was clearly overkill.

The people were dumbfounded. Not only the Martial Kings from Zhou Kingdom but also the people that had yet to leave the arena since it was too packed up with people.

Remembering Alex could order a kid like this despite only having 8-Star Martial Lord cultivation, they were wondering what kind of background Alex truly had. Not only did he have a beautiful 'young' Martial King wife, but he also had someone like this.

Evelyn was stupefied when she saw her. She was helping the others in the evacuation but could not look away from her. She sighed as she knew there was no point in comparing herself to Alex's friends and such.

Little did they know that Jeanne and the others were a spirit, and they never aged.

Of course, Jeanne and the others did not care about what others thought as long as Alex was fine with it. Jeanne immediately covered her hands with lightning as she looked at the trio Martial Kings.

"If I am not tight in time, you will experience the worst thing in your life before you die. But since Master needs us as soon as possible, then there is no choice."

"Ethereal Lightning Body First Charge, Spark!" She placed her hand on the ground, and three sparks of lightning suddenly moved from her hand to the ground before moving toward the trio.

"!!!"

All of them jumped backward as to avoid the lightning, but the lightning suddenly sparked and left the ground. It then jumped forward like a kangaroo and charged at them.

"Silver Sword!"

"Extinguishing Spear."

"Blood of Ashura."

The trio immediately used their own skills to destroy the lightning attack, but before their skills managed to reach them, the lightning fused together and made a single entity.

It destroyed their three attacks in an instant and continued its way toward them. Sadly, because the lightning fused together, it could only kill one of them by making a big hole right in their heart before exploding inside their body.

Jeanne did not leave them a chance as she suddenly moved as fast as lightning and appeared behind one of them.

She swung both of her two short swords, making a cross on their body. Each short sword sent a powerful lightning wave and split the Martial King into four pieces. It also made a huge 'X' on the ground for the after effect.

She then turned to the last one, ready to kill him.

"Hii!" Seeing Jeanne killed two of them in an instant, he was scared. He tried to run away from the arena, but Jeanne simply threw one of her Short Swords. The sword flew like a bullet, piercing right through his heart.

"Ethereal Lightning Body Second Charge, Bullet."

She grabbed her short sword again before going toward Anna, who was the closest. But when she looked at Anna's opponent, one of them had lost both of his hands while the other one was fully covered with wounds.

"Help Fabio, we will regroup after that and help Leoz," Anna said.

Jeanne nodded and left.

Anna then turned toward her opponents once again. Because of the surprise attacks, they had been struggling against her.

Anna simply did not care about them, she completely suppressed them with her scythe.

"Dark Butterfly, Second Order. Nightmare Butterfly." She swung her scythe as a few dark butterflies appeared, flying toward the duo.

They instantly knew that these butterflies were dangerous. They retreated a few steps back, but Anna did not let them. She immediately made the butterfly surround them.

"White Light Sword." The heavily injured one tried to cut as many as butterflies as possible. They could not escape from her with their current condition, so the only hope for that was to buy time until the others could help them.

Sadly, when the butterflies were cut down, they immediately exploded and shot out some kind of dark energy toward their body.

The injured one could still block a few of them, but the one that had no hands left was completely covered with that dark energy.

"Argh!" He immediately roared in pain, feeling thousands of ants crept inside his body and slowly fed his organs. The other one also felt the pain, but because of the amount, he did not feel that pain. At the very least, it was still within the amount that he could endure.

Anna immediately appeared behind the dying guy and pierced his heart with her scythe. She then charged toward the other guy with her scythe. Anna let out a powerful desire to kill him and swung her scythe.

"Dark-!"

"White Light Sword." The guy tried to defend his life from this attack. Sadly, because of his current state, Anna's killing intent was just a bait as her real target was his hand.

"Kh!" Seeing his other hand got chopped, he immediately retreated.

Anna rotated her body and completed her swing. "-Cut!"

An attack like a Sword Wave flew from her scythe to the Martial Kings and killed the guy.

She grabbed their space rings with a carefree attitude. Since Alex was using a hundred Million Spirit Stones, she should at least grab these people's possessions for him.

She glanced at the Martial Kings from Zhou Kingdoms. Jeanne seemed to forget to grab their space rings, so she decided to get over there and grab their possessions.

When she was about to fly, she saw two men fall from the sky. One of them was burned to death while the other one was roasted by lightning. Nonetheless, she simply grabbed their space rings and flew to the sky.

"You two should get their possessions. Alex has half of his pocket, so we need to receive something more." Anna reprimanded Fabio and Jeanne.

They thought this battle would last longer, but because of Jeanne's super power up, they managed to end this pretty quickly.

Anna looked at Leoz and Honda Sana. Honda Sana was still flawlessly buying time for them. She made sure to conserve her strength while constantly wounding the two peak Martial Kings. As for Leoz… it was completely a mess.

Out of the four people that were fighting him, three of them had many wounds in their body. However, there was one of them that had a big cut right in their chest area. Leoz was also not that better either. Wounds also covered his body, but luckily, it was not superficial ones.

"Fabio and Jeanne will attack one of the 7-Star while I take the other one. After you finish, you will attack the 8-Star since I am not sure I can finish the 7-Star with the same amount of time." Anna ordered.

"Alright. We are understood. Leoz should be able to finish the last one." Jeanne nodded.

All of them then went toward Leoz to help him.

"Dark Cut."

"!!!" All four of them immediately retreated from Leoz.

Anna and the others met their respective opponents. She said, "Leoz, you need to preserve your stamina."

"Haha… sorry sorry. I am also not sure if I can fight until the end, you know about my True Spirit Body characteristic."

"You can still use your Thunder God Cannon, right? There might be a chance for you to fully recover later." Anna said. What she meant by 'a chance to fully recover' was Level Up.

Leoz nodded. "Yeah, I know. I should be able to kill ten to fifteen thousand of them with two charges, depending on the place."

"Then, that's good." She nodded as she flew toward one of the 7-Star Martial Kings.

"Dark Butterfly, Second Order. Nightmare Butterfly." She immediately sent a wave of butterflies.

"Two Swords of Light." The Martial King used two swords to chop all the butterflies that were coming toward him. Even the dark energy from the butterflies was repelled.

She leaped toward him with her scythe. She started engaging him in close combat.

Meanwhile, on Honda Sana's side,

"Honda Raid Sword!"

"Twin Sphere."

"Mightiest Spear."

A clash between Sword, two flame balls, and a spear managed to shake the empty arena. Honda Sana looked at both of them after seeing the spirits' power. She never thought they were this strong, especially when they used what they called 'True Spirit Body.' She even felt her life would be in danger if she fought them.

However, the most surprising thing would be Jeanne. There was no Martial King that young, even in the Northern Continent. So, she was a bit glad, not attacking or forcing Alex to do something against his will. At the very least, dragging him to the Northern Continent might be considered the latter. She was wondering where he knew them.

She said to the two old men in front of her. "Your plan has failed. Just kill yourself."

"Shut up, you woman. Don't think just because you have got an advantage, you can defeat us. We still have 150,000 soldiers. Even though you are a Martial King, you would not be able to escape from those many, and we won't let you come back to the Northern Continent." One of them said.

"That is if your army can help you." Honda Sana snorted.

"Hmph! Do you think a single Martial Lord can stop our army? You are dreaming. Even with the help of many people, they still can't stop our army. After all, our army has five thousand Martial Lords." Elder Ryan said as he took out a token from his space ring.

He lit them up, waiting for the response. However, even after a while, he had yet to get any response.

"Oi, Old Ryan. Why have they not replied back to us?"

"I don't know." Ryan shook his head as he looked at Honda Sana with a complicated expression.

"Hpmh. You are a useless old fart, just kill yourself… so embarrassing." Honda Sanae openly mocked him.

"You-!" Ryan gritted his teeth. "We are going to the Rivulet Forest."

"Do you think I will let you?" Honda Sana immediately appeared behind them.

"Old Ryan, go to the Rivulet Forest, I will hold her back." The old man beside him said.

Ryan looked at him without saying anything. He did not know how their plan was discovered, but the way Alex handled this clearly told him he completely knew their plan. With the addition of the token incident just now, he was sure Alex must have prepared something to stop the army. After two seconds, he finally nodded. "Alright, I will leave this place to you."

Ryan flew around the place to go to Rivulet Forest, leaving Honda Sana in the dust.

"I won't let you." Honda Sana flew toward him. Suddenly the other one appeared in front of her and thrust his spear. "I also won't let you stop him. Mightiest Spear."

"Get out of my way. Honda Raid Sword." She swung her sword with her full power.

"Bam!" The blow was very powerful as the enemy got a wound on his left waist.

She then tried to sneak past him, but the old man gritted his teeth and thrust his spear again.

"!!!" Honda Sana was forced to parry this and retreated back. She clicked her tongue as she looked at Ryan, who was trying to help the army.

Suddenly, two people's voices echoed in their ears. One of them was a young kid's voice, and the other one was a deep voice.

"Master is not someone like you should bother."

"You need to get past me first."

"Ethereal Lightning Body Second Charge, Bullet!"

"Thunder Break."

Two lightning bolts suddenly came and stopped Ryan.
