Everyone had their eyes wide open, Yan Jing, was slapped in the face!

Even if her family was not as prominent as Mei Ring's people still did respect her for her family's reputation as her dad was a known surgeon.

"YOU! HOW DARE YOU LAY YOUR SLUTTY HAND ON ME, WHORE!"

She tilted her twisted hand to look at Shao Liling, who was far away from her, a cold glint had appeared in her eyes as she stared at Yan Jing menacingly. But wasn't she a little too far to have slapped her?

Yan Jing was confused but then realised the one that slapped her was a tall, handsome guy who overshadowed her almost as if she was a mouse. A guy had slapped her! How can someone be this disrespectful towards a lady!?

"How dare you hit me!? Who are you?! Don't you know that I have really powerful backup? I can squash commoners like you in one second, who gave you the audacity to even touch me, huh!?"

"Pftt, look at your clothes, the servants who worked in my MANSION wear better clothing than you! You dare touch me with your dirty hands!?"

Yan Jing emphasised the word 'mansion' to show her authority as a rich person as she felt proud, she felt like at least she had tasted what Mei Ring felt when boasting over peo-

Yan Jing now felt her other cheek stinging, her cheeks were swelling due to the very harsh slaps as she couldn't keep her anger in and shouted with angry tears in her eyes.

"You dared to lay your filthy hands on me when I clearly said th-"

"Shao Liling, lets go"

Liu Shan spoke coldly after what he had done to Yan Jing. He felt rage pouring in as someone insulted his best friend and even called her a slut, other than him! Someone clearly didn't know how much power and authority was in the hands of Shao and Liu family to go bashing them around their own houses.

Shao Liling nodded as she left Shao Liqin behind.

'Did jie jie believe what they said? I wouldn't be able to use her if she knew of my attacks, why did I even hang out with them in the first place knowing Mei Ring was the ex of my crush and the other members weren't any better' They bullied and manipulated the students, Shao Liqin had never participated, but she couldn't deny enjoying it while watching from the side though.

"Mph! We shouldn't hang out with Shao Liqin anymore, she's a snake hidden in a lamb's costume Mei Ring, we should just go"

Yan Jing stepped forward to grab Mei Ring's hand but she quickly dodged. Huh? Why was she dodging her touch.

"Don't you dare come to me ever again, you're the reason why Liu Shan-ge just left a while ago, don't you talk to me ever again, I don't want to be seen as your friend by other people"

Mei Ring turned on her heels as she left with a calm expression, she couldn't show out her anger or else Liu Shan-ge wouldn't be able to see the true her. Shao Liqin nearly punched Mei Ring in the face when hearing her refer to her crush as Liu Shan-ge. She was mad but she couldn't show it. She needed Mei Ring for her fame and popularity.

Even if Shaos were more prominent than the Meis, she couldn't just pass Mei Ring away and not use her for herself. She would hate to admit it but Mei Ring was way more prettier than her, so she should use her while she can.

Yan Jing was dumbfounded. When did Liu Shan even arrive here? She had been in a fight with two other studen-WAIT was that guy the Liu Shan Mei Ring was talking about? Someone should have informed her! As she looked towards the other girls for help, they just sneered silently and left her.

She couldn't believe how two faced the girls were, one moment they respected her because she was titled as the best friend of Mei Ring and next, they just turn away from her like a dirty dog or something.

But she couldn't care less about that right now, her family would collapse now, now that she has insulted the young master of the Liu family, she was hundred percent sure her family wouldn't stand a chance against them. The well known hospital her dad works at was nothing but dust in their eyes they could just blow some air and it would be the end, they would vanish of the surface of this earth and wouldn't have any name left.

"Ahhhhhhhh!!"

Yan Jing screamed at last for her major losses just in a day as the guards of the neighbourhood dragged her outside for ruining the calm atmosphere.

'My day truly is going very bad today, huh? Is it a bad omen or something? What did I even do?"

Shao Liling said with an exhausted sigh as she slid onto Liu Shan's bed like usual, acting as if it was her bed and relaxed silently, tired from all the unnecessary drama she had to witness today.

"You should have stand up to her, look, but honestly if I wasn't there, you wouldn't know who you are yourself with your beaten up appearance"

"Those girls did look scary, right?"

"Wasn't the main b*tch your ex girlfriend?"

"Who are you talking about?"

"Mei Ring"

"Her? I don't even remember her clearly now, we dated back then when we were in primary, and i don't think she forgot me, like who can with the face like mine?"

Liu Shan loosened his tie as he peeled of the shirt of his body, he had a great body, believe it or not but Shao Liling was just wasn't interested nor attracted to him.

She had seen him naked a million times before, and he had seen her too, but they had sibling-like feelings exchanging silently if anything like that happened. But as soon as she remembered what Liu Shan's dad yesterday, she couldn't help but gag a little.

"What? Still amazed by my body? I told you, you'll never get used to this."

He smirked evilly but it vanished after he heard what Shao Liling had to say.

"No, I was just thinking about yesterday"

"Do you think they were serious though?"

"I don't know, I've never thought dad would lie"

"Neither does mine"

"But I do know you lie about how you feel about Shao Liqin"

"What?! I don't have feelings towards her, and that other b*tch, how dare she think I was hers, even if it were my first relationship it was nothing special"

He let out nervously and tried to hide it but it did not escape Shao Lilings eyes as she just gave him a tootsie grin like a kid from seeing him act like that.

"I just used her as an excuse to go into the adult world"

Shao Liling threw a pillow at him for being too witty and he just laughed at her stubbornness for not even letting kiss someone, she was a true nun, he couldn't deny it.

"Blah, blah, I know you haven't lost your v*rginity yet, wuss, don't try you act tough in front of me"

Shao Liling smirked from seeing Liu Shan redden slightly in embarrassment but it quickly altered to anger, he did not want her to think of him like that, he wanted to act tough in front of her so he did not reveal that he has yet to lose his v*rginity card.

He pounced on the bed and tackled Shao Liling who was buried deep within the quilts like a burrito, she was suffocated from all the weight on her as she let out an angry growl.

He teased her more by tickling her and she bursted into laughter, they were both enjoying their sibling time as they heard from outside Liu Shan's room,

"They are having fun, don't let anyone enter this room, we shall give them privacy"

"Yes, sir"

The heard footsteps disappearing as both of them had black looks on their faces.

"Why did you have to do that?! Now they think we were doing something"

"We were doing something, idiot. And from what I know I have yet to kill you from laughing out aloud like that"

They both resumed fighting childishly as the maids and servants passing by the room had deep red blush covering their faces for the rest of the day for *some* certain reasons.
