97 Hunting Dark Gray Wolves

The six dragons appeared together and joined the Qiulong as they all flew towards the army of Dark Gray wolves together. Ye Qin and Wang Tao stood back and the entrance, away from harm's way, as they watched the battle unfold.

Two of the dragons penetrated the air, and slammed into the bodies of dozens of Dark Gray wolves at once, sending them flying. As for the ones in front that took the attacks head-on, their bodies were pierced through, leaving large holes in their torso's as flesh and blood were all that were left behind.

The remaining five, which were much weaker than the Qiulong and Yinglong couldn't pierce through the bodies of the Dark Gray wolves, but they could still send them flying far back into their comrades.

The seven dragons worked together perfectly, to lead the Dark Gray wolves into one spot, making it easy for them to be cleared out more easily.

Once the Dark Gray wolves were all in one spot, the seven dragons came together to create a ball of energy that contained all seven of their powers into one attack. Wang Tao's Blackgold Python Tiger froze them so that they couldn't escape, while he dealt with a group of his own.

The energy of all seven dragons combined into one, created a large rainbow-colored ball of energy. The energy ball swished through the air and exploded onto the frozen bodies of the Dark Gray wolves.

The dozens of Dark Gray wolves were all vaporized by the combined power of the seven dragons. Even without using their full power, their combined might is more than enough to take out such monsters.

Once the Dark Gray wolves were all killed, the leaders of each pack growled and glared at their enemies. Knowing that they were no match, the Dark Gray wolves didn't move forward and could only watch their comrades be destroyed.

The Dark Gray Wolf King got up on all fours when it saw how easily the two had killed its minions.

When the Dark Gray Wolf King growled, the other wolves howled in unison. The king along with its retainers all dashed towards the seven dragons and the Blackgold Python Tiger without fearing for their lives.

It was a kill or be killed situation for them. Even if they couldn't take out all of them, if they could kill even a few of their enemies, they would be able to die in peace.

The Blackgold Python Tiger moved its paw and gently tapped it into the ground. Instantly, blocks of ice formed and headed towards the Dark Gray wolves.

The Dark Gray Wolf King roared with all its might, which shattered the ice blocks that headed for itself. The Blackgold Python Tiger stepped onto the ground again, using even more power than previously.

This time, the Dark Gray Wolf King's roar only managed to make little cracks in the ice, and couldn't shatter it. The Dark Gray wolves by its side all roared with their leader, before they could finally shatter parts of the ice that came for them.

The wolves were all attacked from two different directions, making it impossible to even move, less even attack or defend against their enemies.

"It's over." Wang Tao said, as a large block of ice instantly froze the dozen of the remaining wolves. Inside the ice block, the Dark Gray Wolf King could still move its pupils slightly, it glared at the two humans that it had previously thought would just be prey for its pack.

The prey had become the hunter, and the hunter had become the prey. It was truly a great reversal. The Dark Gray Wolf King stared at the two humans for a while, before struggling as much as it could, in order to close its own eyelids.

The ice around its eyes cracked enough, that it would be able to move its eyes freely. The Dark Gray Wolf King closed its eyes and looked peaceful as it awaited its own death.

It was as if it were proud that it could die in their hands.

The huge ice block shattered into a million pieces, as a sound that reminded someone of broken glass, resounded throughout the cave.

Since all the Dark Gray wolves had been shattered into countless pieces, they didn't leave anything behind. The only things that Ye Qin and Wang Tao could take from them, were the bones and hide of other monsters that the wolves had preyed on in the past.

After looting the cave, they burnt out all the lights that seemed to be powered by a mysterious source. Leaving the cave, the two were satisfied with their gains and took flight in another direction, in order to continue their journey.
