Xia Ning walked to the conference table and looked at the shareholders below with a smile. “Good morning, Directors. Sorry to keep you waiting.”

“Chairman Su, don’t say that. We arrived early.”

“Yeah, it’s not even 10 yet.”

“Chairman Su, please have a seat.”

Xia Ning looked at the main seat which was left empty for her. She glanced at Shen Donglai who was sitting next to her with a dark expression and smiled. “Uncle, you used to be the one sitting here. Why don’t you sit here?”

Shen Dong darted a look at Xia Ning with a cold face. “Chairman Su is the one with the most shares now. You should sit.”

“Yeah, I’m the one with the most shares now.” Xia Ning nodded. “Then I shall take on the responsibility.” As she spoke, she sat down on the main seat.

Eric sat next to her and opened the documents for her.

Xia Ning leaned back on the chair and looked at the shareholders below with a smile. “I’m new here, but I believe everyone has heard a lot of rumors about me. That’s right, I’m just an actress with no business background. I’m not like the seniors in the business world. Please take care of me in the future.”

“Chairman Su, you’re too kind. Chairman Su has a master’s degree in economics at Cambridge University. You didn’t want to show your skills in the past. Now that you’re back in the business world, you’re going to make a mark.”

“That’s right. Chairman Su is a top student in Cambridge. She’s so young and has already made a lot of money. It’s our honor for you to come to the Shen Group. From now on, we’ll be counting on Chairman Su to lead us to the peak.”

“I’ve heard of a few projects that Chairman Su invested in. The profits are pretty good. You have a sharp eye.”

A few shareholders were flattering her, but there will always be different voices in a group.

“Chairman Su, you are right. Chairman Su, you are so young and yet you want to be the chairman. Don’t be too hasty. Young people should take things one step at a time,” a board member with the surname Chen said directly.

Shen Tianlang darted a look at Director Chen and his eyes landed on Xia Ning. He saw that she was calm and not angry at all.

“Yeah, I’m very young!” Xia Ning looked at the director and said with a smile. “So I need to learn from seniors like you, Director Chen.”

“Plus, not everyone can be the chairman of our board.” Director Chen looked at Xia Ning. “So you are not the chairman yet.”

“Director Chen, you are too much,” one of the directors stopped him.

“If it isn’t Chairman Su, who else could it be?”

Shen Donglai looked straight ahead and said calmly, “Director Chen is right.”

“That’s true.” Xia Ning smiled calmly. She darted a look at Shen Donglai. But I remember there’s another rule on the board. If someone has more than 50% of the shares, they will have the absolute say.”

“Did Chairman Su’s shares exceed 50%?” Director Chen sneered at Xia Ning.

Shen Dong darted a look at Xia Ning. He knew very well how many shares Xia Ning had. It was only 20%. No matter how much she bought, it would not be more than 50%. Unless… at this thought, his expression changed slightly.

Xia Ning looked at Director Chen and smiled. She reached out to the side.

Eric put a contract in Xia Ning’s hands.

Xia Ning took it and put it on the table. She looked at the shareholders and said with a smile, “I’m sorry. I happen to have 51 percent of the shares!”
