Chapter 165 - Married A Man Who Killed My Husband

Hazel was surprised to find Cyntia's face looking tense in the examination room. he immediately got up from the bed he used to sit on, only his hand was injured, he didn't need intensive care let alone hospitalized, he deliberately didn't call Cyntia and told in detail where he checked himself so as not to see his mother's worried face, like this time.

"Mom." He was shocked. "What are you doing here mommy?" Hazel asked with a confused face.

Cyntia rolled her eyes, she stepped quickly and took her son's hand, she checked Hazel's arm which had just been smeared with medicine.

"What happened to you, why did your hand hurt, ah, sorry nurse, I surprised you, you can leave me and my son, we have important things to talk about." Smiling, Cyntia shooed the nurse out of the room.

"Okay madam, please, I'll get some medicine at the pharmacy, Mr. Hazel, you can go home, you don't need hospitalization or needles, I hope you get well soon." The nurse said, smiling kindly at Hazel.

"Please madam." she let Cynthia talk to Hazel, Cyntia returned the nurse's smile with a friendly and sweet face.

Hazel took a deep breath then watched as his scuffed arm along his arm, s

held back the pain and tried to act calm in front of her mother.

"Why did you get hurt like this?" Cynthia asked, annoyed, she took a seat next to Hazel.

"Mom, I'm an adult, I'm not a boy, this kind of wound is normal, just a small wound," Hazel said with a smile, he wished his mother would calm down soon and get rid of the tense expression on Cyntia's looked youthful face.

"You say something like that calmly how is it possible, you're already lying to your mother, you came back here without telling me if I hadn't called Broto you wouldn't have told me!" Cynthia was blabbering again.

"Come on mom, it's just a trivial matter don't need to be exaggerated, just like this wound on my hand, it's just a small wound, just a scratch, you don't have to put on a scared face like that, I don't have cancer or kidney failure, we can home so stop nagging me." Hazel put on a pleading face, his face always managed to meet his mother's heart.

"Okay, come on back home, go to take your medicine And we go home, but how come you get hurts like that, you have to tell me, so mommy stops worrying about you, if you don't tell me then I'll keep babbling!" Cynthia threatened her son.

"As I told you before, there was a crazy car driver, she deliberately wanted to hit Vira, and I happened to be there so I pulled Vira and the car hit my hand." Now Cynthia had heard everything very clearly, she didn't just hear it once, but this was the second time, her hands clenched in annoyance.

"Okay then, I'll be waiting for you in the car and you should catch up with me soon." Cynthia left Hazel, but before she left the room she turned back to Hazel and made her son put a question mark on his face.

"What's wrong mom? "

"Hazel, didn't mommy warn you?" Seeing the serious expression on Cynthia's face made Hazel's brows furrow.

"Warning, warning about what, about me to be careful! Okay mom I won't make you worry I'll be more careful in the future," Hazel smiled until his teeth were lined up neatly.

Hearing Hazel's words, Cynthia's face stiffened again. "You know mom isn't talking about silly things!"

Hazel was silent, he withdrew his smile and then averted his eyes from his mother's face, of course, he realized that Cynthia wasn't talking about small things.

"Hazel, I hope you understand what you are saying, okay, because you are forcing me to be like this, I will repeat it, I tell you firmly, you must keep your distance from Vira, your feelings for that girl are only false feelings, you know that Vira is your stepbrother wife, and you won't upset me, I hope you understand!" Chintya took the door handle then left speechless Hazel.

Hazel took a deep breath then rubbed his face roughly, he forgot that one of his arms was injured,

"Oooo!!!" He screamed in pain while blowing on the blisters on his skin.

"Okay I won't make mom angry, of course, I still have to be close to Vira because we are still on the same campus, but now I have to get my medicine and catch my mom into the car or she will get even angrier." Hazel jumped off the bed, he immediately left the room.

----

in the parking lot.

Cynthia took the cellphone. She immediately pressed the cell phone screen to call someone.

'Hello, where are you, I'm in the office right now.'

Hearing the answer from the other side made Cynthia's ears turn red.

"You're not going anywhere until I see you!" She said in a firm tone.

'okay madam, I will wait patiently'

The chattering sound of Cynthia's teeth sounded so clear, she immediately turned off her cell phone when she saw Hazel getting closer to the car.

Cynthia's tense face turned soft, welcoming Hazel's arrival.

"I hope you didn't wait too long," Hazel said getting into the car.

"Oh yes mother, I heard that, if the company's situation at the center is not good, it seems I will not go home but return to the office. I have important things to check."

Cynthia shook her head. "Hazel, you don't have to go back to the Broto company, you have to prepare your resignation..."

Cynthia's words just startled Hazel, "why are you suddenly talking like that, it was you who asked me to join the Broto company but after a few months you asked me to resign for no reason..."

"Hazel," Cynthia turned to her son, she understood Hazel's confused face.

"I have good reasons why I asked you to resign from the Broto company, you don't have to trouble yourself, and I stop pretending, we will return to our families."

Listening to his mother's words, Hazel was even more confused.

"What do you mean, wait a minute, I don't understand what you are saying, and..." Hazel was so confused he had to raise one hand and the small movement made his elbow hit the back of the car seat, once again he winced in pain.

"Be careful with your wounds..." Cynthia was worried about Hazel.

"I'm fine mom, but I need an explanation from you," Hazel's eyes looked so curious, all this was like a mystery and a riddle to him, and only Cynthia could solve this riddle.

"Hazel this is all about your father."

Cynthia has not explained in detail but Hazel has been silent, he is a cheerful man But behind his cheerfulness, he holds many wounds especially about the past, He lost his father when he was still in Cynthia's womb.

"Does all this have anything to do with dad?" Hazel asked in a weak voice.

Cynthia nodded her head. "Yes, I married a man who killed my husband."

Hearing a confession from Cyntia made Hazel 2 times more surprised today. "What do you mean my mother?"

Cynthia looked straight ahead, ignoring her son's shocked expression, her gaze was far away, she remembered the past fragments vividly.

"I have a younger sister who I left for a much better life, we argued because our ideals were different, I was obsessed with living a better life and marrying a rich man, while my younger sister was a naive girl, she continued to live hard after our parents died." Hazel was dumbfounded, his mouth was half-open, he didn't dare to interrupt her mother's story, he would listen carefully from beginning to end so that there would be no more question marks in his head.

"No, actually I don't regret my decision when I married your father, your father was a successful and loving young businessman, he must be very happy and proud of you, you and he have physical similarities, you will become a couple father and son, compact partnership."

now Cynthia lowered her gaze, her fingers met and Hazel could see that Cynthia's hands were shaking.

reminiscing about a dark past is indeed a hard thing, Hazel understands that, but he can only sympathize, while her mother, that burdened face, explains that Cynthia's past was very difficult to retell.

"I married a young businessman and left the village, I left my sister with a family relative, then I just forgot about her. My life as a young lady was very fortunate, full of luxury and honor." Cynthia turned to Hazel and smiled bitterly.

"But who would have thought that this short-lived marriage had to end, your father, he had to leave us before he knew I was pregnant."

Cynthia's tears fell, Hazel couldn't see his mother's face like this.

Hazel raised his hand, brushing Cynthia's tears away, this time moving his hand without a grimace expression.

"Hazel, trust me, everything I did for the sake of your father, I wish he could rest in peace..."

Hazel gulped, what made him an orphan, and what does it have to do with Broto.
