Chapter 103 - Flashback

The wind blows from the sea, the sun has started to dim indicating the time to dusk, a child was sitting pensively on the beach, he with his face looks sullen and uninspired, very contrary to the beautiful scenery on this beach

in the distance, a woman was catching her breath, she takes a deep breath enjoying the smell of the sea mixed with the evening breeze, relaxing her tense energies, she was pregnant, her stomach looks bigger, it seems she will give birth soon

When her eyes wandered, she saw a child squatting on the beach with a downcast face, she stepped foot, although very slowly and carefully, she headed towards the child, she gently touched the child's shoulder.

found someone touching his shoulder. The boy looked worried, he fell and sat on the sand, when he looked up his face looked so surprised to see a strange face slightly bent towards him.

"Who, who," his voice trembled.

the woman knitted her brows, her face looked confused but her lips smiled sweetly, she pulled her hair and tucked it in her earlobe so that the hair wouldn't hide her face that looked beautiful and still looked young

"What are you doing? Why are you alone, where are your parents or friends?" she asked in a friendly voice.

The boy just shook his head, he lowered his face again and kept a gloomy expression.

"Ah, aunty should be sitting beside you, maybe aunty can accompany you to enjoy the sunset but aunty has difficulty sitting because there is a little angel here, so aunty will accompany you while standing." The woman said she made an uncompromising decision first while hugging her belly.

The boy raised his face again, he looked at the pregnant belly of the woman who was standing beside him looking at the open sea.

The woman took a deep breath while closing her eyes, she enjoyed the ocean that stretched out in front of her.

The boy stood awkwardly, he looked uncomfortable with the clothes he was wearing, his eyes stared at the belly of the woman standing next to him without blinking.

When the woman turned and found his eyes staring at her stomach, the boy immediately looked away.

His behavior made her smiled amusedly.

"Ah, you have a beautiful swimsuit." Said the woman in praise even though she only glanced at him then looked back at the open sea.

The boy fell silent hearing the praise of the pregnant woman standing beside him.

"May I know your name? Why are you here alone?" She asked two questions at once, but the boy wouldn't open his mouth.

"Ah, you are such a shy and quiet child, I am also like you before, I am a quiet woman," she said with a big smile.

Her words didn't match her demeanor, she looked so friendly and cheerful, how could she say that she was a quiet and shy woman.

For the first time, the boy shook his head in response to this pregnant woman's words.

"Wow, you're shaking your head? Does that mean you agree with what I said? Or is it the other way meaning?" asked the pregnant woman with a gentle face, a smile never leaving her face.

"I, I don't like this outfit!" He said in a half-screaming voice, his face red, his lips pouting.

The pregnant woman looked surprised, she swept over the appearance of the boy beside her with an astonished look on her face plus--

"You have a unique voice." said the woman bowing slightly, she touched the boy's shoulder.

Once again the boy shook his head.

"I don't like dressing up like this. I'm uncomfortable." He said in a muffled voice, his face looking like he was about to cry.

"Ah, I'm sorry, I said something that hurt your heart, I feel guilty if I made you sad and cry like this." Said the pregnant woman with a regretful face.

The boy shook his head. "No, you're not in the wrong," he said in a low, almost inaudible voice.

"I am sad because." He said again, still in a muffled voice.

His fast-moving chest showed clearly that he was trying to contain the emotions bubbling up inside him.

"What makes you sad?" asked the pregnant woman wanting to know more.

The boy took a deep breath then threw something from his grip, the woman was surprised.

"What did you throw?" asked the pregnant woman.

"My problem!" Said the boy with an annoyed look on his face.

"Ah, you threw your troubles into the ocean for your relaxation. Do I have to try your way and I can get out of trouble?" asked the woman.

The boy looked at the face of the pregnant woman next to him who looked gloomy but a moment later the woman turned and found his gaze, again she smiled kindly.

"I don't know you, you don't know me, so isn't it fine if we tell each other our problems, you won't hate me, and I won't hate you for the problems we're in, will you listen to my problems? Then I'll listen to your problem?" She made an offer.

"My problem?" asked the boy.

The pregnant woman nodded her head "yes, I want to pour my heart out to someone who can listen to my complaints but he won't judge me. Aren't I very selfish?" asked the woman.

The boy was silent for a while biting his lip, after a few seconds of silence, the boy nodded his head.

"Okay, I also have a problem that I can't tell anyone, if auntie wants to keep my secret, then I will keep yours," he said, accepting the offer.

"Do you want to go somewhere, aunty can't sit on the beach because aunt's stomach can't be compromised, oh yeah. Where are your parents, why are you here alone? Has no one looking for you, and worrying about you? I had to ask all that before taking you with me." Said the woman.

"I live in that resort, it's my family's resort, my parents are--" he stopped his sentence and looked gloomy.

"You can keep it if you don't want to tell me, but I can't take you anywhere else I'll be accused of kidnapping you." Said the woman with a pretended worried face.

"Auntie is pregnant, is it possible for a pregnant woman to kidnap a child at my age, I run faster than auntie," he said.

"Well, what I just heard. You can talk properly long and wide, it turns out you're not as quiet as I thought." said the pregnant woman, showing off her row of bright teeth. "So, where can we chat and spill this heavy junk on each other?" she asked.

"There, I want to go there, it's a cafe part of the resort, I'm free to go anywhere as long as I'm in this area. no one will be able to kidnap me, let alone a pregnant woman." He said with a serious face.

"Ah, look, you underestimate the prowess of a pregnant woman." The woman replied with a face pretending to be intimidated. "Well, the cafe looks interesting, because you are the son of the resort owner, I'm sure you are very rich, do you want to treat this pregnant woman, maybe the young coconut ice will taste refreshing." The woman said hopefully.

The boy nodded. "I'll treat you. let's just say ole, I'm giving a gift to the little angel in aunt's belly." He said.

"Well, you are very kind. Auntie is very lucky to be able to greet you this afternoon. Then let's go to the cafe."

The two of them walked slowly, the boy adjusted his steps, he looked very careful and attentive, until they found a suitable seat, which was an elongated soft couch complete with a wooden table.

The boy called the waiter and asked for two fresh coconuts for them. He also offered the pregnant woman some snacks.

"Wow, you are a prince huh." Said the pregnant woman while propping her chin, she looked amazed at the politeness of the cafe waitress serving the boy.

the boy gave the pregnant woman an astonished look, he slightly squinted his eyes.

"Why did aunty say I am a prince, aunty will get in trouble." He said in a whisper with a wary face, he glanced around, making sure no one was listening to their conversation.

"Am I wrong?" asked the woman with an innocent face.

"Auntie! Don't say that… you'll be in trouble later." He repeated his words with a tense face and a whispering voice.

"Oops.." She covered her mouth with her palm. "Is this your secret?" she asked, bringing her face closer, hoping no one overheard their conversation.

"Auntie, you are more sensitive than my mother. Why should I be stuck with all this, I want to say that I don't want to be a girl, I hate clothes like this!" he hissed crying.

The pregnant woman took a deep breath. "I'll help you..." She promised.
