Chapter 96 - Why Is He Here? II

"You were in such a good mood in the morning that I couldn't see where the sun was from your face, then after leaving the meeting room, your cheerful day face turned cloudy, dark, and then into a starless night," Kim said with an annoying-looking smile.

"Stop talking weird freaks, what can you conclude from this case?" Vino asked, pointing at the document in his hand.

"Nothing!" Kim answered curtly.

"Your answer makes my face eclipse all year long!" Vino responded to the nonsensical words of his secretary.

"Tell me clearly and in detail, what happened, why did Broto already know about the leak of company information when I just received this report?" Vino asked with deep eyes, he was seriously investigating right now.

"What should I say!" Kim replied with a straight face.

"Ah sir Kim, you are annoying, should I replace you, what if the secretary who replaces you is a woman?" Vino's words sounded like a threat to his secretary.

But it didn't scare Kim, "do you want a sexy woman like Sarah or--"

Vino waved his hand, "don't take Sarah's name, she's gone, don't let my wife know that you still say that name in front of me." Vino hiss warned.

"Wow, when you say the word 'my wife' your eyes are like this!" Kim opened his two fingers in front of his eyes, widening his eyes.

"Was there a historical event in your life this morning?" Hearing Kim's question made Vino choke.

He immediately took the drinking water offered by Kim. "You even choked, wow, today seems to be a historic day for you."

Vino tried to hold back the pain in his throat, he pointed his index finger at Kim's face which was still teasing him. "Stop talking nonsense," he asked.

"Of course today is a historic day for me, how could my father bring my stepbrother into the company and give him the position of director, isn't that something unreasonable?" Vino hissed, he took another sip of the drink in his glass then returned his focus to the thick report piled up in front of his face.

"That's not a problem sir." Kim took a seat, arranged the report on Vino's desk, and joined in checking some parts.

"Entering as a director isn't that a big responsibility for him, he's joining the troubled department, he needs skills to solve the big problems of the new relations division."

hearing Kim's words made Vino lift his head, he looked at Kim's face with cold and deep eyes.

"That's not good for me, to be a new leader in the division of the problem, means he can solve the existing problems, and that is a warning to me!" Vino hissed annoyed.

Kim rolled his eyes. "Since when did you think about minor positions in this company, aren't you only aiming for the highest positions in this company?"

"Oh, that's for sure!" Curtly Vino quickly, while leaning his back on the chair, looking for a comfortable position.

"Honestly, that's not what you're worried about, is it?" Kim asked with a small smirk on his lips.

He had known Vino for a long time even though their meeting was only a working relationship, for him Vino was like a friend and his child.

Vino took a deep breath, he stomped the report in his hand against the table, his face didn't look good. "Hazel was in the same college with my wife, now he's in the same office as me, I feel terrorized by him, I don't like him from the start until now! He was a warning to me!" Vino hissed looking so irritated.

"Ah, surely this has something to do with your plan the other day right?" Kim said guessing.

Vino nodded his head, confirming Kim's presumption. "The plan is in danger of failing, I won't bring my wife into this office, it's a bad decision if I keep pushing." Vino's voice was weak, there was clear desperation from his lips.

"That is good!" Kim replied excitedly.

"What is good about it!" Vino hissed hitting Kim, he immediately took the map and hit Kim arbitrarily.

"You have to work professionally, work hard, and amaze everyone who knows you as Vino, not as Broto's only son!"

"Your words hurt me so much!" Vino replied annoyed.

"I'm very embarrassed to be your secretary, you came to the office very late and let the president's director wait for you. Who is the highest leader in this company?" Kim made an unfunny joke in Vino's ear.

"He's my father, so what, if his son was late for work. Ah, I'm annoyed listening to your ramblings, I shouldn't have gone to the office today, my beautiful days have been tarnished!" He wiped his face with both hands.

The thought of being able to spend all day with his wife would have been nice, but it turned out that he was stuck in an office with such an obnoxious atmosphere.

Oh, wait! Vino remembers something.

The gloomy face turned brightened, It was too much to Kim's surprise.

"What happened to your face, don't smile while looking at my face, you give me goosebumps." Kim rubbed the bases of his arms with his arms crossed.

"Suddenly I remembered something pleasant," Vino said, not wanting to let go of the smile on his lips.

"What!" Cut Kim curiously.

"Prepare a private jet, clear the resort, prepare the yacht, I'm going on vacation with my wife!" Vino said with prancing eyebrows and a full smile.

"You, what did you say? You're going on vacation when the company is in a crisis like this?" Kim asked in disbelief, his jaw dropped, it was hard to keep his mouth shut at this time, Vino's request sounded absurd to him.

"Just now you said that your position was threatened because your stepbrother walked into the office, but instead you gave him space to show off your words, and actions are out of sync!" Kim looks annoyed.

"I'm more worried about Hazel approaching my wife. The problem with the company is your duty and responsibility. I've paid a very huge salary for you, I guarantee your old age and take good care of you. Who do you think is always there to look after you when you're sick?"

"I go to the doctor when I'm sick," Kim replied.

"Who pays for your health insurance?"

"Company!"

"That's right, then, when you were going through a tough time, when your wife passed away, who comforted you?" Vino asked again.

"Consolation at a funeral parlor involving so many people, did you pay the guests who cried over my wife?" Kim asked in disbelief.

Vin nodded his head.

"You did everything for me? With your money?" Kim asked, still reluctant to believe it.

"Of course, it's because you mean so much to me," Vino replied with a proud smile.

Kim paused.

"So, do a good job for me, until you can no longer move the cells in your head." Vino got up from his chair, patted Kim on the shoulder before he finally grabbed his coat and left the office.

"Hey, jerk! Where are you going?" Kim shouted towards Vino's back.

"I'm going home!"

"You think I'll be hypnotized by those nonsense words!" Kim shouted annoyed, he tried to chase Vino, but the man had already run away.

Kim returned to Vino's desk and took the unfinished report from his boss.

"I hope his wife was patient with his childish behavior at 30 years old." he hissed softly, feeling poorly for Vino's wife.
