Chapter 58 - Time Changing Everything

The facial expressions of the married couple, Vino-Vira, looked different when they read incoming messages from their respective cell phones.

Vira looked relaxed and calmer while she took a seat in front of her dressing table.

Meanwhile, Vino looked tense looking at his cellphone screen.

"Ah, my goodness I forgot about the campus event held by annoying seniors! "Vira's voice was heard grunting in annoyance.

"How about this, do I have to come and join events that I'm not interested in? I feel lazy to meet and mingle with annoying college seniors, what do you think? "Vira asked her husband's reflection in the mirror.

From the reflection in the mirror in front of her, Vira saw her husband's face that focused on the cellphone, she thought that Vino might be busy and couldn't be bothered, she intended to continue her work, using a series of skincare recommended by Herman.

"Did you talk to me earlier?" asked Vino then.

Wasn't the response too late? Vira turned around once again and nodded her head.

"I talked to you about an event on campus that was held by the seniors, they said an introductory event between juniors and seniors, actually I'm not interested, but I have no reason to reject."

seeing Vira's depressed face made Vino a little anxious, he stepped closer to his wife who was sitting on the chair, in front of the mirror.

His palms rested on Vira's shoulders, he managed a smile.

"Should I accompany you to the event?" Said Vino volunteered.

but Vira refused her husband's offer, she shook her head.

"Looks like it's an event only for students, not available for a public event." She replied Softly.

"Didn't I still look-alike a student?" Vino showed off his handsome face.

"Ish, you man!" Vira ruffled her husband's hair.

Vino instead replied to his wife's treatment with a small kiss that stopped in her hair.

"Ah, what's annoying was, I have to wear high heels and a dress!" Vira rebelled loudly.

"What? Do they also arrange how to dress the juniors? What is such an important event to have a dress code." Vino joined in the complaint.

"My wife can only dress up and look beautiful in front of me!" Exclaimed Vino with a spoiled frown.

"Ah, I can't wear heels on the street, I'm afraid I sprained my leg. Do you remember how careless I was when wearing killer heels a while ago?" Vino nodded his head.

Of course, he still remembers how clumsy and uncomfortable Vira was when she put on the stilettos on her legs.

"Can you imagine, if I strained myself in front of my college friends, I would be very embarrassed?" She put on a spoiled face.

"Do I have to do something for the event?" asked Vino, "I could just disband the event, isn't that event not related to the campus programs, where did they prepare the event?" Vino asked curiously.

"At the X cafe, but please, you don't do anything, I'll feel guilty for the hard work of my friends." Asked Vira.

"Fine if that's what you want, but you have to say to me if they act outrageously as seniors," Vino warned.

Vira nodded in agreement with her husband's words. "So, may I go to the event tonight?" Her tone sounded lazy.

"Yes, but I will accompany you," said Vino.

"Huh, how can you accompany me, aren't we still keeping our marriage a secret?" Vira asked with a surprised face.

"Why, if they found out you were my wife, they wouldn't dare treat you bad!" Said Vino with a firm face.

"Ah, Vino, isn't that too much, it's just a youth problem after all." Vira tried to calm her husband.

"There is no hyperbole as a husband I will and must protect my wife," Vino answered.

Drrttt ...

"Your cell phone is vibrated again," said Vira, glancing at her husband's cell phone which had been left on the table.

Vino's face turned tense. He scratched his neck which didn't itch, he looked panicked.

"What is wrong?" Vira asked with astonished eyes.

Vino couldn't answer his wife's question, he still looked worried and tensed.

In a very messy room, pillows and sheets were scattered on the floor, bottles of random packaging and fragments.

The dressing table was messy, there were no more neat things in this room, including the occupants.

Sarah ruffled her hair, she threw anything around her.

"You are all jerks! You are all traitors! You only approached me because I am beautiful. After all, I am popular, you are all fake, I hate all of you, get out of my life!"

Prang!

he threw a glass at the tightly closed door, it shattered into pieces, leaving glass littering on the floor.

"I don't want to eat, I don't need medicine, I don't need all of you! Get out of my life!" She still kept screaming like a crazy one.

Sarah turned and saw her dead cell phone screen, there was no reply from the man she had been waiting for, no incoming calls, she was very disappointed and angry.

"You! You bastard!" She kept screaming and swearing on her cell phone screen.

she pressed a button on her cellphone which displayed a photo wallpaper when she and Vino were little, Sarah pressed another button.

Her tears melted, she hit her stomach violently, her face looked more and more worried, she was crying uncontrollably, ruffling her hair.

"You bastard you bastard! "She sobbed so hard until the cursing was blocked in her throat and nose, she could no longer curse smoothly.

"You are the lousiest man in the world!" She still hissed through her increasingly faint curses.

The cellphone fell out from her hand, fell on the bed where she shrieked both of her feet.

The Photo when she was in Paris, enjoying the city of romance with her boyfriend, the photos when she kisses and dissolves in the words of love for the man she admires the most.

The man left her because of another woman.

Sarah stroked both bases of her arms, she tried to calm down and stop crying, she put her chin on the folds of the hands resting on her knees.

"Why did you avoid our love? You said you would marry me, you said we would travel around the world and have lots of cute children, but you disappeared, you stayed away from me, you left me like a lousy animal, you are cruel!" she whispered reminiscing how sad the love she had been fighting for so far.

"In this world, only one man is perfect, only one, and he is Vino. The man I expended all this time. The man I disobeyed, the man who loved me sincerely, took good care of me, I won't expend you anymore, I won't ignore you anymore. I'm sorry, I promise, I will be the best woman in your life. "She promised herself, she recalled their childhood memories that were so innocent and cheerful, her lips smiled thinly.

"Being with Vino makes me feel more complimentary and calm."

The door to her room was opened, a waiter appeared with a tray in her hand, she could see this messy room and pretended not to be surprised.

"Miss, you have to eat and take your medicine." Said the waiter in a soft voice.

Sarah stared at the waiter with fierce eyes.

"I don't need food, I don't need medicine, bring me a bottle of wine!" Her pleading was compelling.

The servant was getting confused, what should she do? "Miss, you can't drink alcohol, you have to take care of your body--"

the maid's words stopped when Sarah's eyes grew sharper and more terrifying.

"Who are you! You have no right to order or forbid, now get me some wine!" The screams were clear.

"O-okay miss." The waiter immediately put the tray of food on the table and out of Sarah's room, she stroked her chest with a panicked face. "Oh my God, I feel so afraid that Miss Sarah will suddenly get angry and hurt me!" She whispered while trying to calm herself down.

"She should have stopped drinking alcohol, isn't her body getting worse? But who would dare go against her orders." The waiter looked desperate to face her employer's unreasonable attitude.

but who dares to disobey Sarah's orders, especially when her emotions were overflowing like this.

The waitress tried to take the phone, she took the initiative to contact the doctor but it turned out that Sarah was smarter, she cut the telephone line at her house a while ago.

"I told you, doctors will not be able to help my illness, I just need a friend who can always be by my side!" She screamed again.

A Friend, who was always beside her, like Vino in the past, who always waited for her to come home with a cheerful face.

male friends who never get angry, never let alone herself, who never said harshly, a friend who always gave surprises and gifts, a friend who gave a lot of time.

For Vino, Sarah was the only friend in his life, until he didn't realize that he has locked himself only for Sarah until he thinks that only Sarah can accept him, he has disadvantages and only Sarah knows about that, only Sarah understands him!

Until this day, Sarah thought that Vino would always rely on her, never be changing.

The bedroom door opened again.

Sarah lifted her head and gave an annoyed expression, she thought it was her waitress who took too long to take the order of her wine.

but when she lifted her head, her eyes rounded, she smiled, throwing down the blanket that covered her knees.

She smiled happily.

"I know, you will see you, I know you will visit me!" Sarah stretched out both hands, she hoped the man who was frozen at the door would soon release this lonely and cold hug for her.

"Vino, I've been waiting for you since earlier, why did you just come now?"

Vino didn't answer Sarah's question, he stepped on the broken glass on the floor with his shoes, his face hardened at the picture of Sarah's room.

"Waiter!" Sarah screamed. "Tidy up my room immediately!" She shouted in a warm voice, wiping the tears that had dried from her cheeks.

"Ah sorry, I should have welcomed your return properly." Said Sarah excitedly.

Vino got closer to Sarah's bedside so that the woman could hug his waist.

"I'm sorry Vino, I'm sorry to you ... I regret what I did to you, I promise to change, I promise you ..." her voice was trembling. Her hugged grew tighter.
