Chapter 235 - Kissing Lesson?

The next morning Selene woke up with a throbbing headache. She was not able to sleep because she kept thinking about Eros.

She was not feeling well so she decided not to attend school today. She would be staying at home.

Azrael knocked on her door, checking on her.

"Selene, are you awake? Are you not going anywhere today?" Azrael asked her.

"Azrael, you can come in."

Azrael turned the doorknob and entered her room. He saw Selene massaging her temples.

"Are you okay, Selene?" He asked her worriedly.

"I'm just having a headache. But don't worry, I'll be fine once I take my medicine. I will be staying here today and will attend school tomorrow," Selene informed him.

Azrael nodded his head. He was thinking that he couldn't leave the house as well since he had to watch over Selene.

But Samantha was expecting to see him today. Azrael looked at Selene, wondering if he should ask her to relay a message to Samantha or not.

"Azrael, do you want to tell me something? Please don't hesitate," Selene said, smiling at him. She noticed that Azrael looked like he wanted to ask her something.

Since Selene urged him to speak up, Azrael told her his concern.

"Selene, can you relay my message to Samantha? We are supposed to meet today but I think I can't make it."

Selene didn't expect that Azrael would become close with Samantha. But she was glad to know that they were getting along well.

"I think you should tell her yourself. Here, take my phone. You can call her," Selene grabbed her phone from her bedside table and handed it over to Azrael.

She taught him how to make a phone call. Azrael excused himself and called Samantha. He went downstairs.

Samantha's phone rang several times before it was answered.

Samantha: "Hello, Selene?"

Azrael: "Samantha, It's me, Azrael."

Samantha: "Oh, Azie! How are you?"

Azrael: "I'm just fine. I called you because I just want to tell you that I can't visit you in your shop today. Selene is sick and she's staying at home. I can't leave her."

Samantha was taken aback when she heard that.

'Eh, does it mean Azrael is staying with Selene right now?'

Then she remembered that she asked Azrael if he wanted her to teach him how to kiss. Samantha smiled inwardly as he took her words seriously.

Samantha: "Oh, don't worry Azie. I can go to Anderson Family Mansion instead. We can do our Kissing Lesson there. I also want to check Selene's condition. I felt bad knowing she is feeling sick today."

Azrael: "Okay, Sam."

After agreeing with Samantha's suggestion, Azrael hung up the phone. He went back to Selene's room, returning her phone.

Selene was inside her bathroom so Azrael just put her phone on the table. He wondered why Levi was not yet back. He was supposed to return today to give them updates about Eros.

Azrael just shook his head. He went downstairs, waiting for Samantha to come. Then he peered at his surroundings as he felt that something was missing.

After a few seconds, Azrael remembered Sach. "Eh, where is that kid? I haven't seen him since last night."

Azrael was used to seeing Sach watching TV with him in the living room. Right now, he was alone. He wondered where Sach went today.

Aunt Ling didn't come to the mansion today because it's her Day Off. 

"Wait, don't tell me Sach is with Aunt Ling right now? She was the one who babysits Sach yesterday."

Azrael just shrugged his shoulders. He didn't have time to worry about a kid. That was not his main concern. 

After half an hour of waiting, Samantha arrived at Anderson Family Mansion. She was holding a basket of assorted fruits for Selene. Azrael was the one who welcomed her.

Samantha greeted him cheerfully, giving him a peck on his cheek. Azrael froze in his spot since he didn't expect Samantha to kiss him on his cheek.

Seeing the stunned expression of Azrael, Samantha just let out a soft giggle.

"Azie, where is Selene?" Samantha asked him.

"In her room…" He responded.

"Take care of these fruits. I'm just gonna go upstairs to check her," Samantha said, handing over the basket to Azrael before going upstairs.

Azrael was left speechless, just watching Samantha's back. Selene had a warm bath before she went back to her bed. She tried to sleep since she didn't get enough sleep last night.

When Samantha entered her room, Selene was already sound asleep. Samantha just checked her temperature. Selene had a fever.

Samantha went to check Selene's medicine kit. She heaved a sigh of relief when she saw some flu and fever medicines.

She let her rest as Samantha went downstairs. 

"Azie, come with me. Let's buy some ingredients in the supermarket. I will cook food for you and Selene."

Azrael obediently followed Samantha as they went to the Supermarket. They looked like a couple while buying those ingredients. Others mistook them as a real couple.

Azrael was the one pushing the cart as he followed Samantha around the supermarket. Meanwhile, Samantha was the one picking up the ingredients.

After they were done buying the groceries, the two traveled back to the Anderson Family Mansion.

"Azie, let's cook first. Then after that, we will proceed with our Kissing Lesson!" Samantha said cheerfully, winking at Azrael.

Azrael could only bob his head with his blushing face. 

Samantha prepared the food so that Selene would just have to eat after she woke up. When they were done, Samantha pulled Azrael into the living room.

"Azie, are you ready?" Samantha asked him. They were now sitting on the couch, facing each other.

"Yes, I'm ready."

Samantha smiled mischievously before picking her phone from her bag along with her headset.

"Okay, Our Kissing Lesson will begin. Azie, come here, we will watch some online tutorial videos on how to kiss."

Samantha pulled Azrael closer and put one headset to his ear and the other one was on her ear. They were sitting side by side as they began watching the videos.

Azrael felt disappointed deep inside. He thought Samantha would kiss him for real when she said about the Kissing Lesson. It turned out she planned on letting him watch online video tutorials.
