Chapter 136 - You Don't Love Her

"Look at me. This was your work last night." Micaela declared to him.

Renz looked at her with disbelief. He could see the marks on her naked body. Did he really do it? Those love bites? They scattered on the different parts of her body.

Micaela walked closer, flexing her flawless body to him. "See what you have done to me last night."

"You became a hungry beast, devouring me. I thought I couldn't keep up with your aggressiveness." Micaela giggled.

She was making up stories for Renz to believe.

Meanwhile, Renz could still not believe it. He couldn't remember anything about last night aside from the blowjob she gave him.

"Renz, have you not slept with your fiancee yet? Is that the reason you were so rough last night as if you have been starving for a long time?"

Renz frowned at the mention of his fiancee, Selene.

"Hmm, I guess you don't really love her," Micaela said, sitting down as she moved closer to Renz.

"You don't know what you are talking about," Renz sternly said, moving away from Micaela.

He decided to get up, enduring the headache brought by his hangover.

"If both of you really love each other, how come you haven't slept yet? How come you didn't have sex with her?"

Micaela was certain that Selene and Renz didn't do the deed yet. Her best friend was so innocent and conservative. She knew she was still a virgin.

She used this knowledge to her advantage. Since the two didn't do any intimate act, she was confident that she could easily steal Renz by seducing him.

Sex and lust… these two were the common weakness of men. She had already given up her virginity to Mr. M so she didn't care anymore even if she would use her body to get Renz.

"You are wrong. I love my fiancee. Sex is not an indication of love!" Renz said, feeling irritated.

He didn't want Micaela to point out that Selene and he hadn't done it yet. Well, her word was true so he hated that fact.

"You can't deceive me, Renz. If you really love her then you would not let anything happen to us last night," Micaela insisted, debating with Renz.

Renz started picking up his clothes on the floor.

"I was drunk so it's natural! I'm not in my clear mind," he reasoned out.

Micaela giggled once again. "Then how about this morning. You are no longer drunk but still, you enjoy my service and didn't stop me."

"Admit it, Renz. Your body needs me. You also have a strong attraction to me." Micaela said with certainty.

Renz had started putting on his clothes. He wanted to leave that room as soon as possible.

Micaela continued talking. "If you felt the same attraction to your fiancee then I guess you and your fiancee would end up doing the deed already. If you don't then that's a clear indication that you don't love her."

"Stop! You don't know me and my fiancee. What we have is none of your business. What happened to us here is just a mistake. This is the last time."

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you. I am just telling you my observation. I know I must be crazy but I like you, Renz. I really really like you."

Renz was still buttoning his shirt when Micaela hugged him from behind.

"Please don't get mad at me, Renz. Last night, we shared a wonderful moment I will never forget."

"The way you kissed me and touched my body… I will always remember it. You possessed my body as if it was yours. As you penetrated my core, you were saying that I am yours. I am yours."

Renz stopped what he was doing. He massaged his throbbing temples. No matter what she said he couldn't remember any of those.

Renz removed her arms that were holding his waist. Then he turned around to face her.

"What happened to us last night… you can't call that love either. It was lust… just pure lust."

"I will get married to my fiancee and forget what happened here. So I hope you can do the same. Please forget about this. This is a mistake."

Renz gently pushed Micaela before turning to leave. She was left in her spot, clenching her fists while watching Renz's retreating back.

"Playing hard to get, are we? Just you wait Renz Chuo. This is not the last time. You might be in denial right now. But I know I already mark you. Let's see how long you will be able to ignore and resist me."

Renz left the hotel with his dark expression. He didn't bother to find or inform Arthur and his other friends that he already left.

He was in a bad mood. He hated himself for not being able to resist the temptation. His mind was in shambles while thinking about Selene.

"Selene, forgive me." He mumbled, slamming his eyes shut.

He was sitting in the back passenger seat of a taxi cab. Renz didn't bring his car as he was in no condition to drive. His hangover added to his headache.

He didn't know how he would face Selene without feeling the guilt. But for some unknown reason, Renz wanted to see her right now.

He texted Samantha, asking her where they are right now. It did not take long when he received a message from her.

He asked the driver to bring him to the hotel where Selene and her friends were currently staying.

After twenty minutes, Renz reached his destination. He stepped out of the cab in a hurry after paying.

He headed straight to Selene's hotel room. Renz took a deep breath before ringing the bell. His heart was beating so loud as he waited for Selene to open her door.

After ten seconds, Selene opened the door. She was still in her sleeping pajamas. She was yawning and rubbing her eyes as if she just woke up.

When she looked up, Selene sobered up instantly upon seeing Renz standing outside her door.

"Selene…" he softly mumbled. His eyes filled with complicated emotions.

Meanwhile, Selene stayed rooted in her spot. She didn't expect to see Renz as early as this morning. She thought Samantha or her grandma was the one outside her door.

'What is Renz doing here? And what's wrong with his expression?' Selene thought to herself.

Without saying another word, Renz closed the gap between them as he engulfed her into his arms.

Selene was caught off guard when Renz suddenly hugged her tightly.

'Eh, why do I feel like there is something strange about Renz today?'

"Renz, are you okay? Is there something wrong?" Selene asked him in confusion.

Renz shook his head. "Nothing. Can we stay like this for a while? I just feel the need to hug you."

Selene nodded in agreement while hugging him back. Renz smiled because of her action. He tightened his grip on her body.

'I'm so sorry, Selene. I'm so sorry.'

Renz kept on apologizing to Selene in his mind. Too bad he couldn't say it out loud. He didn't have the courage to tell her what happened to Micaela and him.

They stayed like that for several minutes. Grandma Elysa and Eros saw them hugging at the entrance door of Selene's hotel room.

Grandma Elysa smiled tenderly seeing Renz and Selene together. On the other hand, Eros couldn't look at them for so long so he moved his gaze away from the two people who were still hugging each other.

His heart clenched inside his chest once again.

"Grandma, let's go and eat breakfast so that you can take your medicine," Eros said to Grandma Elysa, wanting to leave that place as soon as possible.

Fortunately, Grandma Elysa agreed right away. She was planning to invite her granddaughter so that they could eat together.

But now that Renz was there, Grandma Elysa didn't want to interrupt and disturb their moment.

Eros guided Grandma Elysa going to the elevator. He glanced at Selene and Renz one last time before smiling bitterly.

'I guess my stay here is about to end. I will be leaving Selene soon. I just hope Renz will not let her cry once again.' Eros mumbled to himself.

Then he moved his attention back to Grandma Elysa. He didn't know who among them would leave Selene's side soon. Was it him or Grandma Elysa?

'Sigh, I hope Selene will stay strong even without Grandma Elysa or me. I wish her to be healthy and happy always.'

"Gabriel, is there something wrong? You look bothered by something. What is troubling you? You can share it with me, I will listen."

Grandma Elysa's voice snapped Eros back to the present.

"Oh, thanks, Grandma. I am just thinking about a special friend of mine. I want to stay longer by her side but it seems that she will no longer need me. So I feel a little bit sad right now.
