Chapter 23：Return

I froze time around us both. There were a few people walking about. I felt it was better to do out in the open for Rin so she could see. She noticed I could still move and started to explain what was happening. I started to laugh.

"I know it might sound unbelievable, but there is a God named Kear. Kear always does this."

"I am not laughing about that."

I created an apple and chucked it lightly at her.

"Kear!"

"I am sorry, let me change."

I swap over to the twenty year old Kear. I made sure to leave the height the same as Okia. Over the year I have gotten more accustomed to it.

"I wanted to learn without any bias. I have died twice so far and I needed to learn to protect myself. I knew you and the others could teach me so I created that body to disguise myself."

Rin came over to hug me. I continued as I hugged her back.

"I know you wanted me to join that squad, but I don't want to do that as Okia. I know you were telling me that the demon's army in Suul was starting to move towards Amber Spring. It will be a tough fight, but this time I will join you all as Kear and not Okia."

"We will be happy to have you join us. Wait, Kear you said you died twice?"

"I forgot I never told you all. I went to Hundnyan as a dogkin before the dark god Guhnden killed me. He beat me fair and square. That was why I wanted training."

"Dark God Guhnden?"

"Yea."

"We requested reinforcements from Hundnyan and the leader, Bozzel was a group that went into a dungeon. Only beastkin could enter it and one of their party members died there."

"It was my fault for having my body taken. If I wasn't there I am not sure if Guhnden would have been able to take over their bodies. I teleported them out of there as a way of showing I was sorry. Though that didn't know anything about me."

"Well then we know what Guhnden looks like since he took over your body."

"Well let me show you what I looked like and what he looks like now. He took over my body, so while I let him keep it, I changed the features."

I showed Rin two pictures. The face of dogkin Kear and what dark god Guhnden looks like after I changed the body.

"You looked so cute. It is a shame I didn't see you like that.."

"Thank you. I should tell you that Guhnden, last year at least, teleported to Suul. He was connected to the destruction so Suul."

"I see… we had found out that demons were behind it. We also knew that the commander was in the castle of Suul. We just didn't know who it was. Thank you Kear for this information."

"It was my fault after all."

"Kear, I need to tell the counsel this information. Can you come with me?"

"I can, but I won't join the conversation."

"That is fine. Glandriel and Korral have been wanting to see you since the breakfast two years ago. They are still attached to you."

"I am attached you all as well."
